Chapter 1- The Black Ball

Humanity has gone too far in terms of development. They are in a new phase. The downside of these advancements caused many man-made disasters and became a catalyst for the 'end of the world.

The time humanity started using petroleum products for fuel, cosmetics, medicines, and plastics, it made life easier. The great negative of the substances killed many things. petroleum fuels are not reliable, they are harmful to both us and the surroundings. even though we continued to rely on them because we don't have any other way. There was a limit on recycling, using natural resources which are not harmful to anything, and we need both petroleum products and energy from it to live.

"We lived in a world by destroying that world".

Time cruised. The economic crisis began, and riots started to break out all around the world. petroleum depletion, the world was on fire even though there was no fuel. Nuclear energy became a temporary solution but it was expensive at that time and also the range of power distribution was low. Electric cars became a big thing. The limit of producing a huge amount of electric automobiles became impossible, and carriers around the world fell into a red light.

There Began the race for new energy. Governments of many major countries stopped spending numerous science-related portions of research and ordered them to concentrate on a new power source. Many theories about new energy sources were thrown into the desk, and then straight into a garbage bin. Because theories are not gonna help anyone, they need something practical.

This happened, on July 6, 2040, some researchers who were scrapping their research found something amusing. They found an object which was luckily reactive at that time underneath many layers of ice. They don't know what they found. A huge amount of negative energy released by that object was detected by their 'impulsive transient antenna'.

At first, many of them thought, "absurd! CERN tried to find negative energy also known as dark matter for years and they couldn't. Now you are saying it exists in our nature, in Antarctica, beneath the sleet. Don't waste your time dissecting that so-called negative energy-releasing object from that thick layer of ice. I am pretty sure that "ANITA"(ANTARCTICA IMPULSIVE TRANSIENT ANTENA) was already busted.

But some of them speculated on what is happening at the south pole. They felt that ANITA found what it was supposed to find. Many researchers around the world who believe in negative energy know what it can do, so they don't want to leave the object like that. The city is huge, it's a literal example of a cyberpunk city. There have skyscrapers and enormous apartment buildings, sometimes it blocks the entire sunlight which enters the city. Between those buildings there is a metro system, which is so unbelievably fast, there is a highway-like road that only exists for walking and cycling, and a lot of shops around the side of the road which gives you a notion of a technologically advanced future street, also it is so damn neat. Above the skyscrapers, we can see many cars which are flying and also taking on and off from the buildings.

The people around in that city are from assorted countries, we can see the flawless medley of woke culture, it's so diverse and everyone looked serene and educated. Any of them wore a plain-looking outfit in different colors. The costume is futuristic, with no special hand braiding, no cultural references, it's like even females and males wore the same look-alike clothing. But some of them followed the old fashion, they wore shirts, and trousers with flower patching on it. They were like some real humans in an alien society.

Two normal-looking people are walking on the street, they are wearing some normal-looking dresses. They look like some tourists. "Hey, look, Sim City is awesome". The city is called "The Sin City". His female companion replied, "Hey don't get over excited, we are here only for a glimpse, we don't have enough money to be glorious." They both walked, and her boyfriend was so excited, "Hey look it's an X-rated shop."

Three people, one female, and two males came out of the shop wearing that futuristic outfit, they were smiling and the female was holding something in her hand, a dildo maybe?

Angela smiles, "eh?", Stan takes a necklace from his pocket, a platinum one, with a green stone embedded in it, "No more home chores, farming, no medical delay, and here is the ultimate safety. Marry me, Angela," Angela is so surprised "are you serious? My parents are not here...".

The dark sphere engulfed them and everything in a split second, the earth became a dark ball.
