His love

Kuroo stepped onto the guest house's porch, feeling really excited; it had been forever since he had a chance to be with Kimiko, since the shower incident actually. He hadn't been able to get it out of his mind- the doctor said nothing extreme, but Kuroo didn't plan on pounding her into the high heavens. No, he planned to make slow, heavenly, sweet and passionate love to her- and send her gently to the high heavens with his name a whispered prayer on her lips. He itched for a chance to have her again, especially since he made a promise to give her a good long love session. The thought made him giddy, his cock throbbing excessively in his pants, more than ready to participate. He knew he would probably cum fast the first time, especially since he had been holding back for so long- but after that first go, he would be more than ready for action. Maybe he could convince her to suck him off first? That would be enough to get him ready, right? He had a major case of blue balls, but he was known for his stamina and could go round after round. Most people found him actually excessive with how far and how much he could go- but he couldn't help his blessed genetics and earned experience.

Of course, Kuroo also mastered the art of denying himself and could simply ignore his boner whenever it decided to rear its head- he knew that he was quite horny for his age, but the thing really had a mind of its own. Okay, that was a half-lie; it had a mind and whenever Kuroo thought of or saw Kimiko, it perked up. He was a total simp for her, it was undeniable- he had been for the longest time, hearing her soft voice over his headphones. The first time they had been in a party with Kozu and he heard her voice- his involuntary reaction was instant. His eyes had widened, he instinctively swallowed and his cock perked up. He was a shy flustered mess with her at first, absolutely simping his heart out; but she didn't seem to mind. Kozu of course picked up on it- he seemed a tad bothered by it, but he didn't say anything. Of course Kuroo constantly bugged him about anything to do with the girl, she became a very common topic for them. Kozu seemed conflicted, but he was more than happy to talk about how amazing she was. Kuroo pestered him all the time, making Kozu show him the pictures and videos she sent to the younger. Kuroo was jealous of their close friendship, but also thankful.

Kimiko actually brought them closer together in a weird sort of way- she also became Kuroo's inspiration to get better, to be more reliable and manly. He wanted to be a cool person for her, someone she looked at and thought, 'wow, so cool.', maybe even fangirl a little bit. So he got to work; he hid his nerdiness, got tips and hints, tested it out on the girls around school- he actually became really popular with the girls pretty quickly. He got cocky with his newfound confidence- he had teased Kimiko once and she got frustrated; he instantly fell in love with that side of her, taking to teasing the girl. He constantly got her riled up and infuriated her- and yeah, he got really fucking horny when she would hiss and bicker with him. She was so fucking sassy and he loved every second of it, damned if he hadn't touched himself imagining her being so sassy under him- while chatting with her. He had to learn how to be subtle about it, quiet, slow and light- he would kick back in his chair while they waited in the lobby, would reach in his pants and subtly stroke himself through his boxers while the two bickered. It was his guilty, dirty pleasure for the longest time, listening to her get all worked up.

Sooner or later she always got worked up with him around, constantly bickering and being sassy with him- and oh, he loved getting her all riled up. Absolutely thrived for it, just fantasizing being able to make her cry in bliss as he pounded that sassiness out of her. So many times she got him just as riled up, sending thrills and adrenaline pumping through him as he just sat there, slowly stroking himself through his boxers and got her even more worked up. His tolerance slowly built- well, his tolerance to pleasure and his stamina. She was always his weakness, constantly getting him so worked up and horny without even trying. It only got him even more excited that she was so irritated with him, like she was a challenge. Soon enough, every time he thought of her he would pop a boner- and he thought of her a lot, especially since he saw the dance videos and cute pictures she would send to Kozu. One day he learned about Pavlov's dogs and he couldn't help but laugh- he had unintentionally trained himself and her into their routine; when he brought it up to her, she got sassy and remarked 'I thought you were just being cocky.'. The very word 'cock' on her lips had sent a thrill through him.

So he teased her lightly, retorting with 'You do have quite the effect on my cock.'- it seemed to confuse her; he had never sexually flirted with her, though he was very much attracted to her, but the words had just slipped. Kozu had called him out on it, telling Kimiko that he was 'just a horny rooster, ignore him.'. Later on Kozu informed Kuroo that Kimiko was a virgin in a sense, that she didn't really have any knowledge sex wise. That only thrilled Kuroo more, knowing that he could possibly be her first- and if he was, he wanted to be her best. Once again, he got to work- he got tips and hints, experimented with the girls at school; he was a natural, though he quickly became great at it. Girls at school jumped at the chance, word quickly spreading about his endurance, size and technique. More often than not girls were overwhelmed by him, having him go multiple rounds and teasing them excessively. He made it clear that he wasn't looking for a serious relationship however- he was completely and utterly devoted to Kimiko. Girls praised him, dropped to their knees before him and begged him for a chance- it was actually a bit of a bother, especially since Kimiko didn't seem to care.

Okay, that was a half-lie too; she did care that they made him uncomfortable, but she didn't care that she had a sort of competition, not that she knew he was pining after her or doing it for her. So she suggested he get a girlfriend to ward them off; he proposed that she be his girlfriend in the spur of the moment. It was then that she told him that she had a boyfriend- it crushed him. He had fallen silent, left the party without a word and hopped off. He didn't know what to say or do, he just collapsed into his bed and stared at the ceiling. He hurt, he hurt a lot in those moments- he had even cried, he felt absolutely miserable; she sounded so happy when she said that she had a boyfriend. It had even caught Kozu off guard, though the latter had stuck around to collect the details and information. Kuroo sort of avoided her during that time, especially since she seemed genuinely excited and happy about her boyfriend. He even took on meaningless relationships- though it all just ended up the same, them sucking him off under the table as he and her bickered, maybe even riding him. Kuroo and Kozu suffered together, though they both loved the girl and knew that they were her dear friends.

She confided that her boyfriend constantly bugged her for sex but she couldn't bring herself to be intimate with him. The knowledge that she couldn't do it with her boyfriend- Kuroo got a thrill, listening to her as she said it actually bothered her that he insisted and pestered her for it all the time. Kuroo said the words without a second thought- 'If he truly loved you, he couldn't press you or force you into something you're not comfortable with. He would wait for you to be ready and drop it; don't let him pressure you into anything you don't like, you don't want to regret it. You don't have to do anything if you don't want to and he should understand that.' the words really seemed to inspire her in that time; she even honestly thanked Kuroo for the words and said she would pass the word on. Just like that, Kuroo was hooked again- the two 'love birds' ended up getting into an argument on the subject and she came ranting to her friends about it. While he would want her to come to him when they fought, Kimiko actually went to her new school friends or Kozu on the subject when they fought. Kozu passed on small fragments of their arguments, but sex- therefore the lack of- was a sore spot.

The happy relationship started falling apart, Kuroo and Kozu waiting to catch her when she fell. It was obvious that it was hurting her, but she just wasn't willing to do the deed with her boyfriend. Kimiko seemed to still cling on to hope, however- they only found it even more endearing, though they could really see how much it hurt her. They would get in fights and she would get hurt, she would cry; Kozu and her friends would comfort her, though after a while she stopped coming. She sort of fenced herself off- it was at this time that Kozu and Kuroo realized that perhaps there was more than she let on. They tried encouraging her to talk about it, but she would just brush it off with a simple 'everything's okay' or dodge the question. One day she came and told them that her boyfriend's grandparent had died and she actually managed to comfort him. She sounded hopeful for once, though she said that he had to move away. Everything seemed calm for a while; but she would sometimes close off again, she would mute herself- sometimes she would forget and they could hear her cry over something he said. Kuroo wanted to punch the guy, he wanted to hold and comfort her-

She chose to take comfort from Kozu and her friends instead- sometimes she'd come stay the night with Kozu, Kuroo would beg for a chance to come see her but Kozu insisted that he stay home and give her space. Kozu would shut his curtains when she came, wouldn't open the door or answer his texts; he never saw Kimiko once, he only knew that she was there. It hurt, but he knew his friend was doing what he thought was best for the girl. Kuroo decided to accept that, no matter how much it hurt or how much he wanted to break down that door and show her how much happier she could be with him. So he just sat quietly in his empty house, went for walks and just did what he could to keep himself occupied. A year passed; things looked up, things looked down- sometimes they were great, sometimes things were straight shit. One time he came and picked her up and went for a joy ride- she seemed genuinely happy about that, saying everything was looking up and that she had a plan. Next thing they knew they never heard about her boyfriend again. When Kozu had brought it up, she simply said 'What boyfriend?' and they were left to wonder.

They never heard anything about him again, though it became obvious that they were over and whatever had happened was a nasty breakup. For the longest time Kimiko seemed distant, hurt- she didn't even bicker with him, just sat quietly. After a long time she seemed to go back to her old self. They were happy, going back to their bickering selves; Kuroo had hopes. After a while Kimiko said something about a competition to Kozu- they talked privately amongst themselves, though Kozu seemed to be taken off guard by whatever it was. With the training camp right around the corner, Kuroo was too busy to ask- Kozu seemed pretty occupied in his thoughts on it as well. The camp came and he saw a pretty ravenette hold her hand out to his teammate, caught off guard by her beauty, her silky voice, his all too familiar instantaneous, involuntary reaction to her- he had only had that reaction with one other. He approached, made conversation- she had looked up at him, seeming caught off guard. Kuroo was caught off guard too, by her intense blue eyes; she was attracted to him, he could see the slightest hint of it- she even shivered when she heard his voice, giving him a thrill.

He felt like he recognized her but couldn't quite place it; she gave him a sarcastic response and he almost said 'Oh, you're mine.'- he wanted her. Turns out he did know her; just like Pavlov's dogs, he could tell when he was in for a treat. She was so much better in real life, touching her, feeling her, hearing her voice- making her moan. He would never forget that training camp, his first meeting with her- just like he would never forget being her chosen first. He finally got what he wanted in those moments- he got her, he got to experience her and please her. He got to show her, to have her writhing and moaning under him; she was absolute heaven. She had been the best he ever had- he had taken virginities so he could be gentle with her. Of course she wasn't a virgin, though he was fine with it- well, not that he was okay with her being raped and impregnated, he almost lost his shit when he found out. Just like he almost lost his shit having his cock inside her- he would never get used to the feeling either; the complete satisfaction, the burning tingle as he slid into her tight, wet heat… it was heaven. No one even compared, she was the best and he was absolutely wild for her.

After his taste for her- well, he was starved for more. All he could think about was more, more and more- of course he was used to denying himself, but he just couldn't deny that she had him addicted. His body constantly burned and ached for another taste, another stroke- he wanted to see her cum on his cock, to feel her sex orgasm on him. That sleepover- oh, that sleepover. Seeing her ride Kozu was hot, though she was a trooper- a trembling, convulsing and writhing trooper. It was only her second time- he was jealous that Kozu got to go all the way inside her the first time, but he saw that Kozu had gone absolutely wild for her too. He helped her through it, getting more aroused as she was obviously enjoying herself. He and Kozu had a long talk- they had plenty about Kimiko, it was something they just had to do when it came to their friendship and attraction to her. Long, intense talks- it was Kuroo that had suggested sharing her. Kozu agreed on one condition- he went first since Kuroo already had her once, plus she could back out at any time. He couldn't help but smile, remembering his friend's reaction to being inside the girl- he had felt the exact same way- a beast in nirvana.

That's why he had to give him a chance; he held Kimiko and let him pound up into her, even as she orgasmed and writhed helplessly. It had driven Kuroo crazy, though Kozu seemed to be going insane with every move. Not that Kuroo could blame him for it- Kuroo had gotten riled up and excited, had completely pounded her sopping wet and heavenly heat. Honestly, he lost control, watching her in a constant state of orgasm on his cock- he wanted to see her go insane for him. He could relate to her words, every time with her felt like a first. He would never get used to the feel of her, he could never get sick or bored of her or her reactions. He wanted her for the rest of his life, there was no doubt in his mind. He was a horny rooster who had Pavloved himself into an obsession with her; when she had her period cramps, when she mentioned children- he got especially horny, thinking of the possibility of her bearing his children some day. That day in the shower, he absolutely pounded the hell of her. He had been especially horny, but being inside her, bare, in those moments… he could see paradise in her eyes and he knew she was his lover for life- so he proposed without thinking twice.

She cried- he felt completely and utterly crushed again, thinking that she couldn't bring herself to tell him no. He left without another word again, collapsing on his bed and silently crying himself to sleep, knowing his words, his proposal had hurt her. Then the accident happened, the stuff at the house… he felt vulnerable in those moments, trying to see if she was willing to still let him be by her side, if he was still a choice- if she still loved him. It hurt seeing her so close with Suna, he had been so jealous that they had worked whatever it was out. She even worked it out with Kozu; but she had left him out, didn't approach him. Then all the sudden she asked if he wanted to dance with her. He was glad to, of course- anything for her, he would always be her simp, even if they weren't exactly on good terms. He fell with her all over again in those moments, dancing with her and in general being close with her. Then she told him what Yuki had said- he didn't even know what to say, but boy did he want to pound her ex into a bloody pulp for putting that in her head. It was then that Kuroo realized why she hadn't come to him, why she was always so hesitant and never quite sure-

She was insecure, unsure, anxious- she was emotionally scarred by her ex and his words. She was more vulnerable and sensitive than she ever let on; and of course he was a dumbass and couldn't think of the right words to say, the words that she needed to hear. He wanted to hold her, to take it all away- but he hurt her by squeezing her too tight. The thought almost killed him, he immediately let go- he didn't deserve to hold her in those moments, no matter how desperate he was. She came to him though, asked him for comfort and curled in his arms- so he said what he could, all he could think about, the honest truth as it came to him. He felt like a huge dickhead- of course it was all about sex, but… she understood, she took comfort in his shitty words. They joked around a bit- she recommended he put a ring on her finger. He swore for a second that his heart stopped in his chest at her words. Of course, he let his insecurity slip; but she admitted that hypothetically, she would say yes- and Kuroo felt like the absolutely happiest man alive, knowing that Kimiko Suzuki would say yes in a heartbeat. He could practically hear the wedding bells, see the white gown and her, his blushing bride under a vail.

'You wanna kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid.' she whispered- god, that fucking sass. He'd sweep her off the altar and rush her to the bedroom like a caveman if she said that to him on the aisle, or he'd kiss her with every single drop of love he held in his body- and there was a lot of fucking love to give. With those simple words, his life felt complete, like he had reached the peak of happiness- but he knew that was only the beginning of their love, oh, he knew it. In those moments, he wanted to intertwine their very souls like he had in that shower when he proposed- he wanted to stroke slow, deep, steady- he wanted to make honest and true love with her. Sure, he could go fast and hard like her usually would- he gladly would, to; but something about the thought of binding together in slow, intimidate sex called to him. He wanted to enjoy and memorize every second of her, he wanted to love her slow and sweet, to hear her whisper his name and her eyes light up with bliss as he gave her an orgasm. He wanted to go multiple slow rounds, touching, kissing, just treasuring every bit of Kimiko Suzuki- he loved her and he couldn't love anyone else. He just knew she was his soulmate.

Speaking of his one true love, his irresistible sassy girl with all the spunk of a fussy Kitten- god, how could she always be the perfect combination of cute and sexy at the same time? The only thing he could think of that would be cuter and sexier was seeing her bratty and plump with his child in her belly- and boy, did the thought of that get him really going. Just thinking about shutting her up by giving her exactly what her body wanted- a good ol' fashion long and deep dick down by Tetsuro Kuroo would get her singing a different tune. The thought of it had been in his head since the first time, when he came inside her without knowing she was on birth control. At first it was the thought of her being upset if she got pregnant- but she said it would be okay, so his next thought was her being pregnant with his child. She then told him she wouldn't get pregnant and he was disappointed that she wouldn't bear his child- he actually liked the thought of it. Then she said she was on birth control and he got excited all over again, knowing she was capable- and then he thought of what she would be like pregnant. He automatically thought of her with a round belly and a happy but sassy and demanding attitude.

He was such a simp for her- he went absolutely wild at the thought of her getting pregnant with his child, the thought of her committing to him like that, bearing their flesh and blood inside of her body. He wanted to know what she was like pregnant; he already knew that she was absolutely fantastic with kids, like, gifted even. She would definitely be a great mother, no doubt about it- he'd be damned if he wasn't a great father, too. He would always provide for her, support her, give her everything she could ever need to raise their family- oh, and if course, he'd keep her very happy in the sack. He'd love her all night long and wake her with a plate of breakfast in bed- of course his meal would be between her legs, a perfect start to any day; he already knew she'd be sassy and bicker with him about it. He would of course show her exactly what he meant by giving her a toe curling orgasm on his tongue- maybe with a little syrup to taste, though she was plenty sweet enough on her own. In his daydreams he was her perfect teasing husband and she was his spunky wife- and they were absolutely, irrevocably in love and intimate with each other till the end of their miniscule lives on planet earth.

Okay, he needed to focus and stop being an absolute simp for her- Suna and Kozu were asleep in the guest house, it was late after all. Suna had been the first one to crash, he was almost like a sloth when it came to sleep. Of course Kozu was a night owl and a grouchy waker; he had gone to bed pretty quick, surprisingly. Kuroo was wide awake with the thoughts of love and Kimiko on his mind, quite the horny rooster- as always. Less think, more Kimiko. Maybe it would be better if he was a caveman? He couldn't help but grin at the thought, spotting the girl curled up on the porch swing. His heart squeezed, a happy lump forming in his throat at the sight of her- she was early, she must've been impatient and came outside to wait for him; how long had she been out here? He walked over, seeing that her eyes were closed and her breathing was shallow- was she asleep? Had she come despite her exhaustion in hopes that she would get to make love with him? Oh, the thought made him so very happy, but if she was tired then he would deny himself, even if she insisted- though, if she woke up and insisted enough… maybe he could make an exception and show her how happy she had made him.

Kuroo kneeled down before the girl, gently placing his hands on her calves. "Hey there, Kitten." He whispers, Kimiko humming happily as he spreads her legs, setting them down. "You falling asleep?" He whispers as he half lays in her lap, wrapping his arms around her waist. She hums, not even bothering to open her eyes as she leans down, nuzzling her face in his neck. "Mhm… okay. I'll take you back inside." He chuckles though she just whimpers ever softly, her hands slowly curling in his shirt. "I know, my sweet kitten; but you're tired, we can do it some other time, when you're awake." Kuroo whispers, though Kimiko doesn't respond as her body goes limp. Kuroo buries his head into her neck, just holding her and breathing in her sweet strawberry vanilla scent. She was so fucking cute; it drove him crazy just how adorable she was, falling asleep in his arms. He stays like that for a moment, just enjoying her soft breaths and relaxed state; he always wanted to hold her like this, for her to fall asleep like this for him. He took one last deep breath before scooping her up, walking to the back door and testing the doorknob- unlocked. He slowly opens it, stepping inside with Kimiko in his arms.

"Boy, what do you think you're doing coming into my house with my granddaughter in your arms like that? You better get to explaining, don't try to fool me or play games. I can shoot the wings of a hummingbird, I sure as hell won't miss you." Eiji says as Kuroo hears a click, his eyes darting up to see the older man standing in the hall, a gun pointed at him, his finger off the trigger. "Good morning sir, I noticed that your granddaughter fell asleep on the swinging bench while coming out to look at the stars, I was bringing her to bed." Kuroo says, not missing a beat or wavering before the intimidating man. The man seems to pause, the two staring at each other and waiting for the other to give in. "Oh. Well then, carry on." The older man muttered first, lowering his weapon and watching Kuroo as he confidently strides into the house, bringing Kimiko to her bedroom. He carefully lays her down beside Judas, pulling the covers over her and tucking her in, gently kissing her forehead. "Goodnight, Kitten." He whispers, nuzzling his head into her hair and taking a deep breath of her scent. The girl tugs gently on his shirt, making him smile as he reaches past Judas, grabbing her teddy bear and offering it to her.

Kimiko hummed happily, tightly wrapping her arms around it and burying her head inside. Kuroo gently strokes her hair as she settles in, Kuroo's heart feeling tight in his chest- fuck, she was so cute. He quietly exits the room, pulling the door shut behind him and heading for the back door. "You're a star man, huh?" Eiji asks from the same spot he was earlier, though he was tucking the gun in the back of his waistband. "Mm, not exactly. I just couldn't sleep, though you can't really see the stars well where I'm from. I figure we're in an urban area here, you could get a better look." Kuroo says, Eiji humming as he looks at the younger man. "Come on, I'll show you the best place to look. Oh, and be quiet- my wife's still asleep, you'll wake her." Eiji says, waving Kuroo over as they both quietly make their way upstairs. The house was pretty big and impressive, though not overly excessive for the older couple. Surely the two must've made quite a bit of money through their careers, seeing as it probably took a bit to keep up with. There was even a small guest house out back, though it was more of a 4 bedroom 2 and a half bathroom apartment with furniture and appliances.

Eiji walked to the end of the hallway where there was a balcony, opening up the glass double doors. He grabs something set just inside the door, adjusting it before he sets it on the balcony, leaning down and adjusting it more. Kuroo slowly walks over, watching the man work- it was a telescope, in fact it looked like it was a quite expensive one. He looked over the balcony- vines and plants were in blossom, almost like something you'd see straight out of 'Romeo and Juliet'. Kuroo couldn't help but smile as he imagined serenading Kimiko from down below, only for her to scale the trellis. "This is the best view you're gonna get in my opinion, but this right here is my latest project." Eiji says, stepping to the side and gesturing to the telescope. Kuroo steps forward, leaning down and peeking into the telescope. He could see a big nebula, clear and beautiful through the scope, though it was pretty distant. Kuroo heard a click and glanced at the older man, seeing him leaning in the doorway, lighting a cigarette. "So, this is your current project?" Kuroo asks, looking closer through the scope as the older man closes his Zippo, shoving it in his pocket and taking a long puff of his cigarette.

"That's a nebula I'm currently studying. It's my job to figure out what it's made of and to figure out how long it's been around." He says, blowing the smoke out of the house and walking out into the balcony. "Depending on my answer, I can tell how it was made." He mumbles, leaning against the balcony and looking up at the sky. "I see… which nebula is it?" Kuroo asks, trying to get a better grasp of the subject; he was more of a science nerd than a space guy, but seeing as their subjects somewhat overlapped, maybe he knew a bit about it. "That is the swan nebula, it's one of the brightest and most massive star-forming regions in our galaxy. Uncovering the nebula's secrets is no easy task, it's located more than 5,000 light years away- that's pretty far- in the constellation Sagittarius. Its center is filled with more than 100 of the galaxy's most massive young stars. These stars may be many times the size of our Sun, but the youngest generations are forming deep in cocoons of dust and gas, where they are very difficult to see, even with space telescopes. Doesn't stop me from trying to find it's secrets." Eiji says, taking another puff of his cigarette and ashing it in a nearby tray on the railing.

Kuroo couldn't help but admire the nebula in all it's beauty- and he also admired Eiji for knowing enough to study it in a scientific sense. Of course, he probably couldn't study it as he was now, but the man before him could just look at that nebula and have answers. "That's amazing. Can you tell me a bit more?" Kuroo asks, Eiji taking another puff of the cigarette and humming softly. "What do you want to know? You're not much of a star guy, I doubt you'd be able to understand." Eiji chuckles, making Kuroo grin- he was probably right. "I'm actually a bit of a science nerd, seeing as astrology is the study of the science behind the stars… can you tell me what you're studying science wise?" Kuroo asks, seeming to catch the older man off guard as he glances back at the younger. "A science nerd, huh?" Eiji chuckles, smiling as he remembered being the same way- just a big science nerd that happened to be a pretty buff guy. Of course, Eiji was into the stars, though Kuroo had said he wasn't much of a star guy. Eiji started telling him what he currently knew and could share about the nebula; Kuroo seemed to hold his own in the conversation, the two debating theories that Eiji was already investigating.

Eiji couldn't really reveal too much about the subject given his line of work, but he actually enjoyed entertaining the topic with Kuroo. It was like a fresh set of eyes, focused on the elements and their behaviors. Eiji had gotten into science for the stars, but Kuroo was entertaining the stars with more of a science sense. Usually he would discuss it with his friends or wife, but they were either clueless or weren't quite able to keep up. He was pretty gifted in the subject after all, perhaps even a prodigy. Kuroo was still an amateur, but he actually offered some helpful insight and was definitely gifted in science for his age. The way he tried to be helpful and keep up with the subject reminded Eiji of himself at his age, doing anything he could to keep up. Then again, he didn't have someone like himself around, though Kuroo was asking questions and making theories of his own- he seemed to get into it, nerding out a bit with far fetched theories and even applying his knowledge to make small conclusions. Eiji smiled, seeing the younger being passionate about something he just learned; Kuroo actually kind of reminded him of Katsuki in a weird way, though he was one of a kind.

Eiji chuckled, looking up at the sky and taking a deep puff of his cigarette. "Sir?" Kuroo asks, slowly pulling away from the telescope and looking at the older. "Sorry, sorry… talking about this reminds me of Katsuki." Eiji says, stuffing out the last of his cigarette and rolling it around. "Kimiko's father, right? Were you close?" Kuroo asks, catching on to the man's sentimental and reminiscent attitude. "About as close as two stubborn men could get, in a sense. He was a very good man to my daughter, that's more than I could have asked of him with his time on this earth. Of course, any man wouldn't be too keen on giving their daughter away when she came home from Japan, pregnant with a jobless university man with a shit ton of debt and no family to speak of. Especially when they were so young, so fresh- It was obvious they were smitten." Eiji says, setting down the butt of his cigarette and itching the back of his head. "So yeah, I wasn't too happy with him at first, but he was a great man. Very passionate, always looking forward- and he loved my girls and boy with everything he had. He gave them a good life, even if it was a tough start." Eiji says, crossing his arms and looking down below.

"Course, I made him stay in the guest house for half of a year. My girl was just as stubborn, always coming out to see him- and he was stubborn too, sending her right back. Boy, did the two of them bicker a lot; Sayuri would stand right here and he'd stand right there." Eiji says, pointing down to the concrete path below. "She'd try and convince him to come up, he'd tell her that he wanted my permission first. Oh, she would throw big hissy fits when I refused. It was the first time I saw her so stubborn, it reminded me of her mother when she was her age. But she was my little girl, she was still so young in my eyes." Eiji says, gently stroking his chin and smiling lightly. "But Katsuki… he was something else. It's weird, really- I got these instincts you see, and something about him… it was just different. You could tell in a weird kind of way, in his aura, the way he held himself; he had the most powerful spirit." Eiji chuckles as he rubs the back of his neck. "Sometimes the boy scared me with how intense he could be. Just… when he looked at you, it was different. It's kind of like… being stared down by a tiger or something." Eiji sighs, standing up straight and shrugging his shoulders.

"It's hard to explain, but he was just… intense. I never met anyone like him, that's the honest truth. I've been told I'm different but… that boy, he was one of a kind. He was well spoken, he was raised prim and proper- but he had that spirit, that stubbornness, that passion. Nothing would come between him and what he wanted, he made sure of it, but he always did it right. Oh, and he was as smart as a whip." Eiji says, shoving his hands in his pockets and humming softly. "He grew on me. I mean, it became pretty damn obvious that their love was true. I've been there, I know what it's like. I have loved my wife since I was 15 years old after all, the boy was older than me at that age. Plus my wife kept pestering me to just give him a chance, I couldn't really deny her for too long. Both the girls being so spirited really breaks you down." Eiji cackles, looking up at the sky and grinning. "So, one day I invited him up here and we had a talk. Not about stars, he wasn't a science guy at all; he was studying to be a doctor." Eiji says as he leans against the railing. "We talked about the girls, love, his plans in life and our past." Eiji says, looking down at his feet and slowly licking his teeth.

"He had a girl back home, which was the big thing bugging me. He'd get calls all day, every day from a girl back at his home, begging him to come home and raise their child instead. I wouldn't listen to a word anyone said for half a year, I was being nice enough giving him a roof, food on his table and clothes on his back. That's all he ever asked for, plus my consideration; he never pressed me, but I knew he wasn't giving up. He let his actions speak more than words you could say; he put in the work, started off running, looking for any job that would take him. He took great care of my girl, I mean, she was pregnant. He really went out of his way for her, any father wouldn't be able to deny a good thing when he saw it. But that dang woman in Japan…" Eiji sighs, running a hand through his hair and grimacing. "He said that he loved my girl first, that he always loved her and never spent the time of day with the woman. He insisted the baby wasn't his, but there was no way to know for sure. The woman was smart, had tricked him, got him black out drunk… but he knew that it wasn't his kid, I mean, he said it so easily, so firmly." Eiji says, shuddering lightly and pressing his lips together.

"When he spoke with that intensity, you just had to believe him. There was no doubt in his voice and he just- the look in his eyes would give you chills. He never looked down at me, but I knew if he did that I would bow- he was intense. He was one of a fucking kind, that boy." Eiji says, looking back up the stars and humming. "He gave my girl the last 9 years of his life and had two beautiful children with her. He gave her everything she could ever need in his life; he gave them all of his love, too. We shared a mutual respect, I guess- really I was just scared to get on his bad side, and I'm sure it was the same for him. We were both fighters after all; if we ever got into a big fight… it was obvious only one of us would come out of it, and it'd leave everyone unhappy." Eiji snorts, a big grin spreading over his face. "But we did play fight, oh yeah. All the fucking time we'd rough each other up and play wrestle- sooner or later he was like a son, one I was proud to have. So I introduced him to my old gang, he made friends with one of the old men there too- my friend, Judas's grandfather, may he rest in peace. He was a good man too, they clicked." Eiji says, pulling out his pack of cigarettes and tapping one out.

"He had a friend in America, Carson Pendragon, I believe. Boy, those two really knew how to live it up. He introduced me to the Pendragon- he was nothing like Katsuki, he was more wild than anything. Untamable, I'd say. Carson had a son a bit older than Kimiko- I'm sure you've met the wild thing." Eiji cackles, nodding his head to the guest house with a grin. "The four of us would hang out, talk and just let the two hang about with Judas. Judas would follow Kimiko around like a puppy, Arthur would be wild and do what wild little boys around girls would do. Oh, but Kimiko gave him a solid one right here." Eiji says, grinning as he taps his chin as he puts his cigarette in his mouth. "Shocked all of us- and made us laugh too. We knew then that she was going to be different; Katsuki and Carson… their bond was kind of like Kimiko and Arthur. It was just built differently, mostly on trust and faith; they knew then that Arthur and Kimiko were going to have a different dynamic. So they cultured it, built it up carefully; we also taught the kids how to kick straight ass, they used to always spar with each other. Arthur was always the one getting beat." Eiji snorts as he pulls out his Zippo, twirling it in his fingers.

"Weird as he is, he enjoyed it. It actually built their bond more, though it was pretty obvious that Kimiko was the pack leader. She had that same intensity as her father, the same book smart that just seemed to draw people in." Eiji says, flicking open the lighter and lighting his cigarette, taking a puff. Kuroo had just been sitting, listening patiently to the man- he was actually interested to hear everything he had to say, this was a peak at Kimiko, a peak at her life and her father. "And it did draw people in, good and bad. It was Katsuki that really did the most for Kimiko, she was such an amazing girl. I mean, she's just… different. I love the girl with all my heart, but I'm not exaggerating when I say she was always just amazing in everything she did. I knew she was made for great things, there's no way she wasn't. She's one of a goddamn kind, that girl. Even more special than her father I'd say- I mean, she's just amazing. There's no right way to explain it." Eiji mumbles, taking a puff of his cigarette as Kuroo smiles. "Yeah… she is." Kuroo says softly, the older man's eyes darting to him with a knowing look. He slowly drags his eyes over the younger, sizing him up and examining him thoroughly.

"Her father died." Eiji says, taking a drag of his cigarette as Kuroo seems to deflate a little. "And you know, you could kind of see what it did to her. Her eyes- they kinda just got dimmer. I mean, she was still amazing, but… a girl needs her father. I did my best to fill that void for her, but I wasn't Katsuki. No one could take that spot for her, that man was absolutely everything to that girl. I do mean that. She just… kind of dimmed. Like a little part of her… faded." Eiji says, taking a moment as Kuroo slowly nods, pressing his lips together. "A kid needs a family." Kuroo says, seeming to know more than he was letting on about the subject. Eiji picks up on this, noticing that Kuroo had a sort of deflated look. There must be something with his family, a lack of something there that Kuroo could relate to. "Well, she had her family, she had her friends… but Katsuki left a void in all of us, he was just that… different. Special. It's hard to explain, but he took a chunk of all of us when he went. He took a big chunk out of the girls- Akira was still young, he didn't know any better." Eiji says, ashing his cigarette and looking over the boy. He took another big puff, blowing it out off the balcony and fiddling with his cigarette.

"My daughter was especially hurt by his loss. I mean, that was the love of her life, the father of her two children. He felt like my son, he was Carson's dear friend, he was the sort of person who made an impact on your life. The world was cruel, taking out a man like him; he was a great, great man, very special. Kimiko always dreamed of being in love like that, I mean really, she would always swoon with how her father was with her mother. Seeing Sayuri fall apart without Katsuki, seeing her suffer so much because of a love so strong… it kind of just… ruined it for her, I guess." Eiji mumbles, a lump forming in Kuroo's throat as his chest feels tight, remembering her words- 'If I knew for a fact that everything would work out, hypothetically speaking, I would say yes in a heartbeat. But I don't know that and I can't say that… at least, I can't say it now. I can hope, I can dream, I can wish… but I can't give you an answer yet.'. Had that been another reason why she didn't say yes in the shower? Was it because she was scared of loving him so much and losing him? She had been so afraid to let them in, so afraid to love… is this another reason why Arthur believes she isn't ready?

"She got into trouble after that, a rebellious stage I guess you could say. She was angry at the world for taking her father, for hurting her mother, for leaving her like that and shattering her dreams. Arthur and Judas know all about it, they were by her side through it all- their bond was special, all three of them were a pack. They know all about the trouble they went through together- but it was bad trouble nonetheless. Now, I know trouble- I was her age too. I had a gang, I've had the turf and I've had my streets- she was a middle schooler, I'm a man with a big job who had to hand the trophy on- Judas's father was getting old and no one else really seemed like a good fit. All the gang was any more was a garage and some old bikes; so I gave it to them. The Hellraisers, they called it." Eiji says, Kuroo's eyes lighting up with recognition as Eiji takes a puff of his cigarette. "They became the leaders, they rounded up their own rag tag team, but they never let anyone close. It was just those three getting into trouble- but there were three conditions, three rules to giving them that. One, don't do anything unprovoked- that was Katsuki's motto. Two, don't bring trouble home." Eiji says, ashing his cigarette again.

"Which is why she's the one that always opens the back door, because if it ain't her I'm gonna have a gun pointed and ready to fire. It was my gang and my trouble before it was ever hers, after all; I know how people can be, I know how it works. She got it in with some bad people too, but they knew me and they damn well knew Katsuki. They were scared of stepping on our blood, because they knew if she got hurt… well, grand pappy hell was gonna come in and make them regret it. She managed to hold her own pretty well, too." Eiji says, taking a puff off his cigarette and blowing it to the side. "Rule number three, listen to Ray." Eiji says, Kuroo's eyes lighting up with recognition. "You've heard of her, I'm guessing? I don't know how much you know, how much she's told you but… Ray was Judas's big sister. She was older, she took after her pops and we had given her the reigns over those three hellions. She had a smart head on her shoulders, a good heart- the kids respected her. She'd protect them when they bit off more than they could chew, kept them from going too far and loved them- they all took to her, of course." Eiji says, stuffing out the last of his cigarette and sighing.

"Everything looked alright for a bit… I mean, they stayed out of trouble unless they were provoked, we never heard of it unless it got outta hand. Kimiko was the brains, Arthur was the spirit and Judas was the power. Ray was the leash, the home, the safety- no one dare touched that girl. The one time someone did, the trio of trouble tore the place down- it was then, and only then did I see something that I never wanted or thought I'd see; I saw the Katsuki in her eyes, and while I saw it all the time, felt his presence… that intensity… I never, ever wanted to see him angry, and boy was that girl pissed. I had to come in, pissed- and I felt like falling to my knees in front of her. That presence… it was just… it was something else, man. That's saying a lot for a small girl like her, but it was just… dark, ominous and you couldn't help but obey, like she had her hand around your throat. And it wasn't even pointed at me- oh, they pissed their pants she was so intense in those moments. The only ones not affected were Arthur and Judas, but they didn't dare step out of line either. They knew if it was pointed at them she wouldn't hold back." Eiji mumbles, shivering and grimacing lightly.

"It's rare that that girl scares me, but she can send chills to your bone with how frightening she can be at times… Ray seemed to get through to her. Kimiko finally seemed to brighten up, the trio got really attached to Ray- before we knew it, Kimiko actually brought her family back together. She helped with Akira, she had long talks with her mom, helped her work through it and just… you could see the light in her again. There was hope, she laughed, smiled and even seemed to daydream like a little girl again. We didn't really know what changed." Eiji says, dropping his cigarette butt and grimacing. "She came home one day and seemed really conflicted, but she didn't want to talk about it. The next day she came home and seemed really downcast, crestfallen. Then, the next day we got a call that she ran out of class without a word- and I felt it. I felt my instincts tell me that something just wasn't right, so I got the old gang back together and we went looking for her. I was worried, really worried." Eiji says, Kuroo knowing what he was talking about- but he didn't say anything, lest he give anything away. "We found her." Eiji mumbles softly, staring down at his feet and grimacing.

"Not Kimiko… we found Ray in that alley. We had Arthur and Judas with us, but… they were unconsolable. They were crying, sobbing messes- they didn't know what to do, who to blame… It was messy. There was… there was so much blood. The police arrived not long after, but Ray was cold by then… we found out that the perp must've been injured, too. He got away by car, at least that's what they said. We found pieces of his teeth on the curb… I couldn't help but wonder." Eiji mumbles, running a hand through his hair. "Kimiko came home that night… but she was quiet. She was dark. She had just lost her big sister, she went to her room… Judas went wild. I mean, she really went looking for trouble, big time. Kimiko brought her right back down, saved her and kept her on a leash. They took comfort in each other- Arthur was kind of in and out at that time, seeing as he was blue blood and it seemed like something big was going down. I heard mentionings of a divorce in the Suzuki family, that the child from the woman wasn't Katsuki's. The man was right, and he knew it- even if the news came too late." Eiji says, blowing out a slow breath and shrugging.

"Then one day Judas seemed really happy- I mean, she was really happy. Grinning ear to ear happy, humming and skipping around like a little girl. All I knew was she and Kimiko spent the day together, they had a long talk and… Well, everything seemed okay, other than Kimiko being… dimmer. She seemed more closed off than before, she just… I dunno. Ray meant a lot to her, she started having night terrors, she went out a lot… it was all just… I don't know. I don't know a lot of things, but I know that Ray had been pregnant when she died, it was her boyfriend at the time that murdered her in cold blood… and it was Kimiko that had arrived at the scene. No girl could see that and be the same… it just… I gave her space, did the best that I could do, but it was obvious that she was broken. She lost another chunk of that brightness, that specialty that was Kimiko Suzuki." Eiji says, Kuroo slowly nodding as the older man sighs, looking up at the stars. "And then that man, that bastard… she came home one day, stumbling and completely out of it. She wouldn't let anyone near her, just… went straight to bed." Eiji whispers, pressing his lips tightly together as he clenches his fists.

"Everything seemed fine after that… so we didn't think much of it. But… she… she was raped that night and we didn't know any better. My little girl…" Eiji mumbles, Kuroo walking over and putting his hand on the older man's shoulder. "You don't have to talk about that if you don't want to… she told me it was a difficult time for all of you." Kuroo says, Eiji taking a deep breath and slowly blowing it out. "I wanted her to abort. I did- she was only 12, she was such a little girl… there's absolutely no way her body could handle it and… well… I didn't know if she would be a good mother. She cried and begged anyone who would listen to just give her a chance, to let her keep the baby… she just cried and cried, breaking all of our hearts. It was obvious her body couldn't keep up, but she fought with everything she had to keep that baby, with her body and her words. I mean, it was then that she really reared her head, showed off her fighting spirit. She was so stubborn, so passionate, just so… well, she just wasn't taking no for an answer. Judas got really defensive of her too, took care of her and protected her. Arthur wanted her to abort, he detested the child." Eiji says, Kuroo pulling his hand off his shoulder.

"She was like a one man army, though. Everyone around her was fighting for her to give in, telling her it wasn't possible, that there was no way… Judas was the only one that wanted the baby other than her, but she was worried for her health. I mean, she was constantly sick, she could barely eat- half the time she had to force the food down only to throw it up later. But she'd get right back up and try again- she was so stubborn, that girl. Sayuri took her to get the abortion and well… an hour later, they came back- it was obvious that they had been crying. They went to their rooms and they both started crying, begging to the gods and calling for Katsuki to help. It broke everyone that day, their tears. It was just… a broken family, a girl that just wanted a chance… the next day Sayuri made a call." Eiji says, pulling his shoulders back. "She called Katsuki's brother; I heard of the man from Katsuki, apparently he was a really great guy and an even better brother. He gave them the break they were hoping for- and Kimiko seemed to light up. They packed everything and went to Japan- I got word later that Arthur followed, but Judas stayed." Eiji says, lightly itching his neck and shrugging.

"I heard it was a difficult delivery, but… Kimiko devoted everything to that baby. She turned out to be a fantastic mother, I mean… wow. Nen is a beautiful boy, he's just… amazing, you know? I hate being a great grandpa with the circumstances but… I'm glad to call him mine. He's my pride and joy, that little boy, he's got all that special that I saw in Katsuki and Kimiko. But… Kimiko was still… she's still hurt. Those scars… they didn't go away. She just hides them, tucks them down and… they festered. I heard word of a nasty breakup and well… outside of Nen, she just seemed to go dull. There was no special anymore, it was just… a girl going through the actions. She had that light with Nen, she loves him with all her heart and he's her will to live but… as a father, as a man who watched my children grow and blossom… Nen's not always gonna be there to keep that light glowing. One day that candles gonna go out and she's gonna have to let him leave the nest and she's gonna be alone. Of course, we'll be here as her family but… she needs a man. She's hurt, she's got scars, she's scared but… she needs a partner." Eiji says, though he doesn't really mean to imply anything.

"I love your granddaughter with every fiber and cell in my body, Sir. I intend to marry her and put a smile on her face every day of our lives if she lets me. I know she's been hurt, I know she's got insecurities and I know she has her fears… I know I'm not the man to take those away. I know that it won't be easy to love her, but my heart already made it's choice a long time ago. The moment I first met her… she held my heart in her hands and she's held it ever since. I've been by her side through some tough times back home, I've defended her when men have hurt her… boy, did I punch a lot of people for her, when I have never raised my hands in violence before. But I would do it again if it meant saving her, I would gladly put my life on the line if it meant keeping her safe, I would gladly have my arms open, ready to catch her should she fall. I want more than anything in my life to be someone she can lean on, someone she can look at and feel safe with, that she can rely on. I've worked for years to become that for her, before I even knew her actually- I have completely and utterly devoted myself to your-" Kuroo says, though Eiji lifts a finger, his lip twitching as the boy falls silent.

"Sweet talk won't work on me, Son… action will, and so far you got the guts for saying such words while my gun's in reach. Lucky for you, it's gonna take guts to win me over for her hand." Eiji says, though he sounds slightly amused as Kuroo's lips spread into a grin. "You called me son for the first time, not boy. You sure sweet talk isn't working?" He chuckles, feeling a little rush of adrenaline as the man hums and raises an eyebrow at Kuroo. "You said all those things without a second thought, you've got the look and attitude like you mean it, she seems happier when you and the others around- even like her bright self, full of hope and love… whatever you are doing, it's obviously working. Now, I don't know which one of you is a miracle worker, but so far it seems like you're putting a sparkle in her eye. Besides, you get brownie points because you remind me of myself when I was your age. I said those same words and meant them to Kurimi, and we have a beautiful daughter and a wonderful marriage together. This is my granddaughter we're talking about though, so it's gonna take a lot more to convince me." Eiji says, shrugging his shoulders as he looks up at the sky.

"Plus, well, you're not coming after impregnating the girl asking for clothes, food, shelter and her hand in marriage with another woman back home ringing at all times of the day asking you to come back and raise your child together. I mean, come on- he managed to get on my good side with enough hard work and dedication, you've got a lot to live up to." Eiji says, cracking a playful grin and making Kuroo give a hearty laugh. "I'm not sure I'll ever be a comparison to anyone from the Suzuki bloodline, but… I do hope to become a part of it someday. I'll just have to make do with what I got, and I've got a lot of love to give." Kuroo says, offering the older gentleman a sheepish smile. "You got family back home?" Eiji asks, catching Kuroo off guard at the sudden change of topic. "Er… yes, Sir. My father and my grandparents. I also have an older sister who visits sometimes." Kuroo admits, not knowing why the older man had asked. "What of your mother?" Eiji asks, looking at the boy straight in the eyes. "My parents divorced when I was young, Sir." Kuroo admits, dropping his gaze and shuffling lightly- it wasn't a comfortable subject but… his parents relationship had been a toxic one.

Eiji hums, looking over the boy and raising an eyebrow at him. "Well, son, if you don't want to go back to your family in a box… I'd suggest you refrain mixing your blood with my granddaughters for now." Eiji says, though Kuroo blinks before he laughs. "It's ironic that you should mention that, Sir- I actually gave her a blood transfusion to save her life. She's approximately 8% Tetsuro Kuroo." Kuroo jokes, Eiji slowly runs his tongue over the back of his teeth. "She's gonna be 8% dead man if you don't get back to that guest house and get to bed, young man." Eiji says firmly, making Kuroo stiffen as he salutes the older. "Yes, sir." Kuroo says simply, turning on his heel and quietly walking down the stairs- he didn't want to wake anyone. Eiji waited for the boy to recede before he chuckles, a slow grin spreading over his face. "Good man." Eiji mumbles, looking up at the sky and taking a deep breath. "I'm sure Kimiko's got her work cut out for her if all those boys feel the same way… huh, Katsuki? Goodness knows everyone wanted you, but you took after my daughter's spirit. I wonder if his spirit caught your daughters eye." Eiji mumbles before he puts the telescope away and locks up the house.
