The Clown And The Pink-Haired Delinquent.

A Cold and logical delinquent has a new problem when an insane mercenary loli with a violence and language problem as well as a massive kill count gets a job to protect her. During the great Multiversal War, the Black Tower was seen as the villains since they wanted to control reality. That and the fact that before the war, the Black Tower was a massive mercenary company. One of their Stars, or Star Generals, was someone who went by the name Clown, or Mara the Clown. Mara is an insane highly skilled and dangerous reality-warping clown mercenary with the appearances of a nine-year-old girl and the mind of one to boot. She is well known and feared on both sides and is a total enigma. She has been known to kill both sides for money and despite being insane, she is seen as a trustworthy mother figure for the people fighting for Black Tower. Yet no one except her boss knows what she is fighting for. Well, to find that answer, you first must go all the way back to when Mara the Clown first joined the Black Tower. Back when she died in her own world and was resurrected. Back when Mara didn't quite know how to bend reality to her will. Back when Mara was given what many would see as a pretty easy task. Protect a pink-haired delinquent. .... Only the task was far harder than anyone could have ever expected. Expect a crazy, and I do mean absolutely psycho loli with a language and violence problem try to get along with a cold and logical delinquent., and also fall in love with each other too. Oh yeah, the first four chapters are not in perfect format. I made them a while ago and some of them were made and posted on my phone. Chapter five and beyond is where the chapters are fixed, and the quality goes up. (Cover Art is not mine)

Chapter 4: Landing In

"You know, when they say that traveling through those portals are better than using the hyper-jump thingy or whatever, I should have believed them."

Indeed. Also, do you mean to talk out loud?

"I Don't Care!"

I stopped leaning on the brick wall and stumbled forward a bit. My ship was behind me, invisible of course. I came in quite quickly and without being seen. Honestly, I always wondered what it would be like to fly in something large and...draws attention and not being seen at all. It made me very giddy. Still, I might as well find my target. It sucks that I don't know where she is. From what Vanilla told me, Copper One helped Check Three developed towers that block our scanning system. Well, that and my boss is busy elsewhere.

With my nausea settled at the moment, I whipped out my spray-can and sprayed the word Clown in pink outlined yellow in big bubble words. There we go. Now I know where to look. Well, that and plus I have laid the first foundation in my new reputation.

Wait. Is it still new if it's going to be the same? Or is it new because this is a different world? And wait wait! Doesn't this world know somewhat of my existence?

So many questions. This is clearly a big show question!

Before I could go on, I heard the footsteps of armed thugs approaching me. Two of them have guns while the other six just have pipes, bats, and clubs. I let out a small sigh which turned into a giggle when the thugs walked around the corner. Immediately after seeing me and hearing me giggle, every single one of the thugs blushed.

...Seriously? Wait, they do know I'm underaged, right?

The probability of them caring is low.

Ah. Got it, got it.

"Hello!" I waved at the thugs, causing them to blush even harder. What you don't say in a situation like this is 'can I help you with something'. You're asking them then if you can help them with anything. I mean, choice of words folks! That is why the smart me said hello.

The crazy excited look on your face says otherwise.

Oh shut it! I am dying for action ever since I was in that place.

I let out a shudder just thinking about it. I will never let myself go back there again. If that means I have to slaughter a bunch of thugs, which I have done plenty of times before, then I will!

I think you just ruined the whole purpose of what you said.

....Damnit!

"H-how a-about you come with us, little missy. We'll promise we'll treat you good."

"....I'm fourteen."

"We're not gonna do anything like that...yet. Besides, we're not strangers. My name is Mike. See? Now tell us your name."

These guys are idiots. Still, a good time is a good time!

"My name is Clown."

"...Huh?"

I took a step forward before pointing at my art on the wall.

"I said my name is Clown. The one and only, Clown!"

I can see that these guys aren't getting it. Oh well. I have a job to get done so I might as well warn them to get out of my way. For some reason, I'm feeling more...merciful right now.

"Unfortunately, I have somewhere to be. You see, I have a mission to kill a lot of people...wait! No. No no nope! My mission is to protect someone and use it as an excu-and protecting that someone will most likely involve killing a lot of people, and I need to find that someone so if you guys can please get going...it would be most appreciative."

I bowed, smiling even wider, before continuing.

"I mean, do you know How Long it's been since I've killed a whole police force? Two years. TWO YEARS! They stopped coming after me after I've killed them over and over again so much that they didn't have anyone else to cover any crimes. Then I killed an entire branch of the military that, though they will never admit it, was made to kill me. I mean, that was FUN!!!! AND NOW, AFTER SO LONG, I FINALLY GET THE CHANCE TO DO IT ALL AGAIN! And You...You....You Fuckers Dare Stand In My Way!?"

________

It was at this time that Mike and the others finally got a good look at Mara, or really her expression. Sure she was pretty, pretty enough to put any model or idol that they've seen to shame. Yet her eyes, which were unusually pink, were glowing and filled to the brim with insanity. A blush was on her cheeks and her teeth were sharp, looking like most of them were fangs. The black gloves she had on ended in claws on each finger and she was constantly twitching now, jerking in a way that had to be uncomfortable to keep up. Yet she showed no sign of discomfort. In fact, the more she spoke on about killing and how great it felt to tear someone apart with her claws the faster and more violent her twitching got. It was around the time that Mara started speaking about how she'd set up explosives and blow up whole squads of police when they thought they were laying an ambush on her was the time that every one of Mike's crew came to the conclusion,

We've got the wrong girl.

They started backing up when Mara started admitting a huge bloodlust. She wasn't even looking at them anymore. Then one of the thugs backed up and his foot hit a trashcan. Mara stopped speaking, stopped moving, and just stared at the thugs as if seeing them for the first time. She was crouched down and her head was hung low, causing her hair to cover most of her face. From her shadowed face, only her left eye was visible, glowing and glaring at the thugs. Mike's crew shuddered violently and decided to run. Mara beat them first.

She jumped high on the wall to her left and leaped off that wall to the one on her right all in a flash, causing a big cracking sound as the ground and brick wall she was on cracked when she jumped and landed. The two in the back pulled out their pistols but before they could aim, Mara was upon them.

With a giggle, Mara launched herself at the nearest thug, grabbing his head and slamming it into the ground, leaving nothing but a bloody pulp. Still giggling, she clawed the thug to her right next, disemboweling him. She then pounced at Mike who quickly dodged out of the way. The thug behind him suddenly found that his heart has been taken out. The two thugs with pistols aimed at Mara and fired. Unfortunately for them, their bullets hit the body Mara used as a shield. From the body came a black and pink spearhead. It stabbed one of the thugs with a gun in their left leg, their shin to be more precise. The spearhead was attached to a chain and the thug suddenly found himself being dragged towards Mara. When he was directly underneath the corpse she used as a shield, a blade emerged from the chest of the body and buried into his gut over and over again. Dropping the body on the convulsing thug she had just stabbed many times, Mara darted forward, avoiding more bullets. She skidded to a stop quickly and turned and pounced on Mike, Biting his right arm at the neck, Mara stabbed him in his eyes with her wrist blade before retracting it and jumping off Mike's body, doing a backflip and drop-kicking it into the last remaining thug with a gun. The last standing thug hit Mara's left arm with his pipe but Mara didn't cry out. Instead, she turned and swept his legs so hard that his right foot broke. He fell and watched as she took his pipe with her right hand and, whenever by accident or not, crushed it. Using the crushed pipe, she stabbed him once going right through him, again going right through him using her left arm this time and making a different hole, and another near his heart, only this time it broke through the concrete ground below, lodging the pipe in there.

Mara then jumped backward, doing a backwards summersault in the air, avoiding the gunfire from the last remaining thug. She cartwheeled over to him and grabbed the gun from his hand, crushing it, and then proceeded to punch him in the face over and over and over again until his face was unrecognizable. With a satisfied sigh, Mara stood up and admired her work, looking at each corpse making sure they were dead or too wounded to do anything to her, before taking out her black and pink sniper rifle from seemingly nowhere. She then put one foot up on the wall and waited...

....waited until she heard the sounds of sirens coming closer and closer. Mara couldn't help but smile, her eyes wide and excited, a small blush on her face, and her thoughts swimming on about how to kill the cops that were coming.

________

Delinquent. I guess that's a fitting name for me.

I let out a sigh. It's been two days since that incident yet I was still stuck on it. I know I was a delinquent. In fact, I've been called that many times. But to hear it from the seemingly shy treasure of our student council. It was out of nowhere too. I saw her at the peer crying and I walked up to her and asked her if something was wrong. I think my exact words were "What's up?" but my message was still the same. She jumped and when she saw me, she stared at me with such hate. She then proceeded to yell at me, completely unfairly, "It's People Like You Who Ruin Everything. Our Society Doesn't Need Any Delinquents Like You!"

To be honest, I really wanted to beat her face in with the pipe I had brought with me. I normally carry around a weapon to protect myself. Still, I managed to keep the urge and my retort in check. I just glared at her angrily before turning and walking away. Before I went, I told her without looking back that her bag was about to fall over the edge and into the water.

I let out a sigh and I turned on the Tv. It was playing the news. Normally it was all political and stuff or about the riots but to my surprise, it was about a massacre. I turned up the volume and sat down on my bed to listen.

"We now have more details on the brutal massacre that occurred earlier today in City D's downtown area. While the police told us that thirty-six were killed, more eyewitnesses and detailed reports tell us that fifty-six cops including some OSF were killed. This all started out after a noise complaint was filed stating they heard gunshots coming from an alleyway. There the bodies of eight known crooks were found, brutally killed. That was when the assailant began their attack.

The assailant's gender is female and she is skilled in both firearms and hand-to-hand combat. Locals are still discussing if this is the work of a new villain and what their name shall be."

Another villain attack, ehh. Well, at least it's a new one. The older villains are getting boring. Should I stay to hear what the heroes of City D's excuses are?

With a sigh, I got up looked out my apartment window. That story reminded me of someone named Clown, or Mara The Clown from another world. She's long dead this story sounded like something she would do. Of course, the villain used superpowers and Mara didn't have any. She'd just have her smarts and her skills, as well as her inhuman strength.

Only my close friends know that I looked up to The Clown ever since I learned about her. Personally, I think she was a villain. Not a hero but someone on a mission while having a blast while doing it. She didn't have much if any morals and despite being a mercenary, her mission of killing anyone with the name Clown made her a villain in my eyes. Don't get me wrong, I like her. I just think that she's not any hero. I kinda wish she was here now. Heh, as if that would ever happen.

On time this time!
