I really shouldn't have said that to her, I can't even face her, I'm terrible sister
I laid down pretending to be asleep. I heard her silent cries all night till she fell asleep on the wet grassy ground
I sat up and looked at her swollen eyes, she must have cried really hard
"I'm sorry Zulia, I didn't mean what I said earlier,I'm the one at fault as the next in line for the throne, I failed in protecting my family,how could I protect the kingdom?"
Zulia slowly opens her eyes staring at me
"You weren't asleep?" I asked her
"How can I fall sleep in this state,we might get attacked by a bear or something"
"Ohhh, I thought you fell—"
"Even if I fell asleep your voice wouldn't let me sleep" She smiles
"So you heard me"
She held my hands
"It's not your fault sis and it's also not mine"
"I'm sorry Zulia"
"I'm sorry Zamora" She hugs me crying more
"I promise to kill Toketa with my own hands and get the kingdom back,The kingdom belongs to you,for you're the Queen of Neodessa not Toketa" her grasp tightens my hands
"Let's keep watch together,when you feel sleepy just sleep, if I feel sleepy I'll wake you up"
"Okay sis"
Flina wakes up
"You both finally made up" She smiles
"Well we need to figure out a way out of the dark forest as soon as possible"
"We have no food,no money, what are we going to do if we find another kingdom"
"Well there are three kingdoms that can lead to the dark forest, 1 Neodessa,2 Navir and 3 the Empire of Ztoa"
"Well we definitely can't go to Neodessa,so we are left with Navir and Ztoa"
"Well from what I've learnt with mother's teaching Empire Ztoa is a very big kingdom, and it's best if we went there, it's towards the Southern side of the forest" I said
Zulia looks up at the skies
"What are you looking for?" I asked
"I'm looking for that one star,so I can know what direction the southern side is" she says as she continues to search
"Yes I've gotten it,the Southern side is in this direction"she turns and point
Flina smiles
"I can't wait to leave here"
"By the way Flina, can you walk now?, I remember Batria kicking your tummy you so hard" Zulia asked
"I'm totally fine since I woke up" she says as she tries to go to sleep,lying down on the leaves

We've been walking for the past three days and haven't seen a single pathway,feeding off fruits and edible leaves and insects
"I really can't believe I ate an insect, Me!!! A princess"
"Zamora stop overreacting,and Flina you look pale" She touches her body
"Goodness, your body temperature is high" Zulia yells
"I'm fine" Flina walks faster
"How big is this forest?" I yelled
Zulia walks closer to Flina
"You don't look fine"
"I said I'm fineee" She shouts scaring the neighboring birds away
"I feel you're not fine Flina" I tried to touch her
"You're hiding something" Zulia gave a stern look
"NO I'm not hiding anything"
Zulia held her hand and checked her body
I saw her tummy swollen and red
Zulia stares at her with a sad look
"Flina,when did this happen?" I asked
"This happened when Batria kicked my tummy,I thought I was gonna get better in some days but—"
Zulia storms off angrily
Flina stares at me worried
"This was why I didn't want to tell you,I don't want her worrying about me,Zulia is overprotective"
"Overprotective? We just lost our parents, of course she'll be overprotective"
"Where do you think she went?"
"I'm sure she'll —"
Zulia walks back with weird leaves on her hands
"Lie down and raise your gown up" She said in a firm voice,Flina does as she says
Zulia squeezes the leaves letting the droplets fall on her tummy
"Ouch!!!, it stings"
Zulia kept squeezing the leaves, Ignoring Flina's cries
She places another leave on her tummy
"That should do it, in a couple of hours it won't be swollen anymore" she smiles
She hasn't smiled in days
"Where did you learn about all this stuff?"
"Well I train alot in the woods and get hurt alot that Jack would help me apply the leaves"
"Who is Jack?" I asked
She faces me with a frown
"My vice-captain, the guy that got killed right in front of us,the only man I—" she stops
"I'm sorry, I didn't realize his name was Jack"
"It's fine,to you he was just a guard but to me he was much more"
...
"Let's wait a bit till Flina can walk" I tried to break the weird silence around us
"Okay"
