Chapter 7: The Young Lady

BoPL and Darky were stunned as they launched a barrage of attacks at The Chronicler. They thought they had the upper hand and had completely suppressed The Chronicler, but in reality, The Chronicler did not even bother to defend against their attacks.

They are like statues, frozen in place and unable to move.

The power far exceeded theirs.

"So let me get this straight, you throw every single universe at me, and not only did you failed to eliminate me, but you almost wiped out the Universe in this Infinitium." The Chronicler said in a low voice, but every single word reverbated to them.

The Chronicler released a subtle aura around him, this made BoPL and Darky realized something.

BoPL: The One That Observe

Darky: The One that Document

"I see, you are not a foreign from this Infinitium" BoPL said

"But interfering with the duty of The End is unecessary" Darky seconded.

"I naturally know about his duties, but it interferes with the objective of The Author, to tell the tales of this fantastic insignificant creatures" The Chronicler replied.

Suddenly, a rift from the space appeared and a familiar figure appeared, it is The End Of All.

"The will of The Author? The Original Creator" The End said

"If that's the case, then i concede" The End added

"However, This Infinitium only had 200 million universe left and according to my duty, Imust End this current epoch to start a new one" The End then looked at The Chronicler with a worried expression.

The Chronicler: Hahaha, I cannot interfere anymore, i believe if i stop you here another battle will occur, if that happens, I'm afraid this infinitium will start a new immature epoch.

The End: 2,000 years

The Chronicler: It is enough

Finally, the matter came to an end.

BoPL and Darky disappeared from their spots and The End opened up a spatial rift and also disappeared from his spot.

The Chronicler heaved a sigh of relief, Then he examined his human form to see if there are any damages.

To his surprise, he lost a single tiny hair, indicating that he used up a tiny hair portion of his powers in his fight against BoPL and Darky.

The Chronicler gazed at the vastness of this space and stared at the unending void. Terrifying creatures once roamed the infinitium, and 7,650,970,873,870 civilizations were eradicated.

"Huh?" A small red room, suddenly appeared before him, to his surprise he got instantly transported here and he sensed no fluctuation of energy meaning that someone beyond fiction pulled him out from the book.

He then began to examine his surroundings, inside the small red room there is only a door, a clock, and a chair.

He then walked up to the door, he tilted the knob and slowly pushed the door open.

He widened his eyes, he saw grassy hills and the seemingly unending grass plains, he then closed the door gently and proceeds to walk towards one of the hills.

As he got closer, he saw a round crystal table and a couple white chairs that match the round crystal table.

It was as bright as day, but he couldn't feel the sunlight and the sun above him doesn't seem to be a real sun.

Finally, he reached the top of the hill and then he saw a young lady taking a sip of whom he assumed was a tea or a coffee.

The young lady slowly looked at him and they looked at each other from eye to eye.

The eyes of this seemingly small and fragile young lady, were actually as deep, as if a whole infinitium were stuffed inside those pairs of eyes.

"Take a sit" says the young lady, urging him to occupy the seat at the opposite side of the table.

Then, The Chronicled took a seat, and a tea cup suddenly appeared before him.

The young lady had a calm demeanor, she leisurely looked around the grassy field before facing The Chronicler again.

"You messed up quite a lot, your actions deemed you unworthy of your existence, it is not your duty to engage in a battle with anyone" The young lady said.

"The power you possess alone can disrupt the balance of any fictional layer, simply speaking you have the power to play God even more than the Creation God or a similar being who holds the omnipotence on that layer"

"Your battle with the Being of Pure Light and the All Darkness, resulted in a catastrophic apocalypse throughout the Infinitium, if that battle goes on,the other Infinitium will surely be affected and their respected powerhouse will also join the fray. If all of Infinitium participated, it will eventually involve another verse, then countless narratives, and finally affecting the whole layer" The young lady said

"I only want to tell a story as told by You, The Author" The Chronicler replied.

"It all started with The End of All Things right? you could have let him devour the universe where August resides, It will take a thousand years to completely devour a certain universe in a natural process"

"I assumed that a couple hundred years is enough to tell the tale of August, as Humans only have that maximum lifespan, at least on his planet" The young lady only smiled at The Chronicler waiting for him to react.

"I guess, it is my fault then" after a pause The Chronicler said something that will make the young lady feel amused. "I will restore everything in its former state before the battle occurred, that way i can let The End of All Things resume to his original duty and i can tell the story of August again."

"Hoh, you can do that for sure, but, remember who you are and to interfere any more than the previous one will anger the one above me, and the one above further"

Hearing this, The Chronicler stands up and the whole space begins to shake.

"How rebellious" The young lady only smiled watching the scene unfold before her.
