Chapter 9: Riley Hawkins

"No, Pls I beg you" she said as she shook her head.

He touched the hem of her dress and ripped the whole dress.

BANG!!!

At that very moment the entrance of the warehouse burst open.

"What the h*ll" The boss shouted as he turned to look at person who dared to interrupt him.

At the entrance stood Thiago Rodriguez who looked like the King of Hell. His cold gaze swept across the room to find his beloved being held down by some thugs.

"Get rid of everyone except for him and them" Thiago said as he pointed the boss and the other four guys.

"Why are you guys standing there like a bunch of preschoolers " The boss said as he took his gun out and immediately there was shoot out in the warehouse.

Thiago punched the boss and knocked him out.

He went straight to where Rachel was sitting, she was shivering as she tried to use her torn clothes to cover up herself and closed her eyes and ears because of the gun shots. When he got close to her, he heard her wimpering.

"Babe you are safe now, nothing is going to happen to you " Thiago said as he removed his Coat and made Rachel wear it.

He then took the shivering Rachel into his arms and carried her out of the warehouse straight to his car.

"Venus Hospital "Thiago said to the chauffeur as he pulled Rachel who fell unconscious into his embrace.

The chauffeur understood immediately and stepped on the accelerator and drove at high speed.

Venus Hospital

Thiago entered the hospital with Rachel in his and took the elevator straight to the VVIP floor and asked for the best female doctor available. Female Doctor?? The staff wondered why he asked for a specific gender but looking at the way he was dressed they were afraid they might offend someone they shouldn't.

Soon a female Doctor came to check Rachel. She saw how pale the patient was and looked at her wrists and ankle only to see red fingerprint marks.The Doctor was even more shocked to find her clothes torn. She now wondered weather the person who brought her here found her unconscious on the streets or He is the cause of the ladies injuries.

As a doctor she knew she was not supposed to probe into her patients personal life but she couldn't help but worry. She decided to ask the patient once she wakes up. When the doctor opened the door to leave, she was shocked to see rows of men dressed in black from head to toe with dark glasses guarding the door.

"Doctor how is she " Thiago asked

When the doctor turned to face him, she gasped.

"Thiago ??"The doctor asked with disbelief written on her face

"Riley Hawkins"Thiago said as his cold eyes scanned her from top to bottom.

"You took the advice pretty well"

"Yes, Are you the one who brought her here"Doctor Riley asked as she ignored his previous statement.

"I prefer we talk in private Doctor"Thiago commented.

Doctors Cabin

" Okay so what do you want to tell me , that need to be said privately" Riley asked as she sat down on her chair.

Thiago sat opposite her comfortably and crossed his long legs the King he is silently.

Doctor Riley didn't know what to do to break the awkward silence he creat between them.

"Hmmm!!!" Doctor Riley cleared her throat. And asked " What happened to the lady?, Who is she?, Where did you find her ? And why did you ask for a female Doctor?." Riley bombarded him.

Thiago rolled his eyes at her rambling. Reminding him of Lucas. Thiago took a mental note that after he leaves the hospital he gonna give him a call.

" Can't you ever ask one question at a time"

" What were you expecting me to do, You were the one who kept silent in the first place." Riley said as she adjusted her Cat-eye glasses.

' This girl will never change' Thiago thought inwardly

Thiago has known Riley since childhood he grew up with her, Lucas and Alzira. They always did everything together. Their families were friendly with eachother. Their group broke when Riley's dad decided to expand his business in Asia, when Riley was 12 years old. So she had to move out of the country. Followed by Alzira who also left the country at 15. Leaving their friendship group to be left with just him and Lucas.

"Well hello, earth to Mr" Riley said as she waved her hand infront of his.

What she did made Thiago snap back to reality.

"The girl is not just anybody, She is my future wife" Thiago suddenly said which made Riley almost spit our the water she was drinking.

" What did you just say" Riley asked trying to confirm what she heard the first time.

"You heard what I said" Thiago said nochelantly

"And the cause of her bruises ............. and that's it" Thiago explained to Riley. " So far whats your diagnosis" He asked

" Well I think she went unconscious because of shock and stress"Riley said seriously.

Thiago nodded, because he understood that this is her first time going through something like that.

"Do me a favor, I want you to become her private Doctor." Thiago requested

"Uhm that's clearly impossible" Riley said with frowned brow.

" You want to miss out on the chance to become the private doctor of Thiago Rodriguez's wife, think about it" Thiago said as he got up and left

After Thiago left Riley's office he got a phone call from Brian that the four men plus the leader he pointed have already been sent to the base.

Rachel's Ward

Thiago entered Rachel's Ward quietly and sat on the chair for visitors the looked at her pale face which was slowly regaining colour and the bruises on her hands were applied with ointment so it didn't look as severe as it was when he brought her to the hospital. Thiago felt relieved that he had asked Brian to find her when he saw her missed calls. If he didn't , he wouldn't have known she was kidnapped by those scumbags. And if he was he was a a minute late in reaching the warehouse , those scumbags would have defiled her. His heart twisted at the thought of it. He clenched his hands and promised to make them pay exspecially that scum ex boyfriend of hers. But he wanted to wait because he wants her to make the decision.
