Chapter 3:What do you want
Finally, I finished with all of yesterday's documents and its now 10:30. I got up to pour a glass of water for my self.
*knock knock*
"Come in"
"Mam, someone downstairs said u asked him to deliver your car. I just wanted to confirm"Isabella said
That's when I remembered that guy, whatever his name was said he was gonna send someone to deliver my car to me.
" Ahh,Yes thank u. Pls make sure that that it is sent to the underground parking lot, where I usually park it"
"Okay Mam and there's going to be a meeting for all the head's of department around 1pm"
"Why am I being notified now" I asked her
"Mam you left early yesterday and it was posted on the company's group"Isabella replied
I took my phone to check, and surely it was posted on the group.
"Thanks for the reminder, You can go now"I dismissed her
"And mam it will be helled in the conference room on 95th floor, I will take my leave."
My stomach has been growling for sometime now, But it's an hour before lunch. But I can't help it. Suddenly my phone rang, when I checked it was an unknown number. After bit of thinking I decided to take it.
"Hello, Please who's this" I asked
"It's me" a deep familiar male voice responded. That's when I realized it was the guy from this morning.
"What do you want" Rachel asked
" I was at least expecting a thank you from you" He said
"Why???"
" For returning your car to you, even though it's not my responsibility" He replied
"Well I never asked you to return it to me in first place, I could have gone back there to pick it up my self" Rachel said a bit irritated
"Why are you so riled up, calm down I didn't mean to upset you" He said with frowned brows
"Well congratulations I am starving here and you successfully pissed me off"
"State your reason for calling and how did you get my number" Rachel asked
"I wanted to invite for dinner tonight at Rose-gold restaurant at 7pm. And the answer to your second question I have my ways"
"Ok, what if I say no" Rachel asked
"What's your reason" He asked
"I don't go out with strangers"
"Practically we are not strangers" "Take it as you paying me back for helping you last night"He pleaded
"Fine" then she hung up immediately. And relaxed on her chair.

AT LUMINOUS CORP.
After the call ended, He had a smile plastered on his face which shocked his Personal Assistant ( Brian Salvador) . Ever since he started working for him from the past three years, He had never seen his boss smile like this. He always had this cold and domineering aura around him.
"Book a reservation at Rose-gold restaurant" Brian heard his boss say
"Yes Sir"
"And send a take-out to this address. It should have a bit of everything.
" He said Sternly
"Yes Sir, Understood" Brian said and left to do his bosses tasks.
*Bang!!!*
"Don't you have manners to knock before entering" Thiago said as he glared at the intruder. Who is non other than his Childhood best friend Lucas Garcia, CEO of GC Entertainment.
"Hey what's up with your foul mood. Did you loose a business deal or something." Lucas asked with a big smile on his face, as if he's not the same person who Thiago was talking to seconds ago.
" The next time you barge into my office like an uncouth, upstart. I will make sure that Entertainment Company of yours goes bankrupt." Thiago said with a cold voice
"Woah, Sorry "
'I hope next time the heavens will remind me, before getting into devil's dome' Lucas murmured. And he received a glare from the so called Devil.
" What brings you here" Thiago asked Lucas with a relaxed expression
" I had nothing to do , so I decided to come have lunch with my favorite childhood friend." Lucas said with a wide grin on his face and sat on the couch whiles Thiago joined him.
"Liar" Thiago said
" State your main reason for coming here"
Lucas was still smiling as he said " A little birdy told me that you picked up a girl from the club last night and left with her in your arms "
" So" Thiago asked
" So I want to know, Have you finally been laid" Lucas asked with grin flashing his white teeth in front of Thiago
"I have nothing to tell you. But No" Thiago said with smirk whiles Lucas's smile dropped
" What do you mean by nothing, you mean you were not laid. How ?? my source told me the girl was as pretty as a goddess or is because your tools are not working, oh no that's too bad. you should...." Before Lucas could finish
" Would you shut the f*ck up and stop rambling like a mother hen" Thiago exclaimed with an annoyed expression.
"My tools are absolutely fine."
" Then why, what happened" Lucas asked with a Confused face
" You will know very soon" Thiago said and checked the time on his wrist watch then he picked up his phone to call someone

*knock*knock*
" Your Delivery is here" Isabella said holding a take-out bag
" Did you say my delivery" Rachel asked
" Yes Ma'am"
" But I didn't ...."
*Ring*
"Hello who's this"
" I thought you already saved my number from the first phone call this morning, but nevermind you can save it this time" Thiago said solemn voice
Rachel felt guilty hearing how he sounded, but didn't know why maybe this time she will save his number.
"uhm sorry, I was busy so...."
" Have you received the food, I sent" Thiago asked
Rachel glanced at the take-out bag Isabella was holding and replied" You sent it, why"
With a smile plastered on his face. He said" The first time I called you said you were starving and in the morning you only took coffee so I decided to send you something"
His words made her smile, she never knew he took note of what she said " Thank you"
" Hhm I hope you won't stand me up for dinner at 7pm. A car will come pick you up."
"Hhm I won't" Rachel replied with a smile.
