Chapter 2:Did we....

As the sun rises up in the sky, the birds chirping. In a big spacious room, the Ray of sunlight highlighted two bodies tangled on a king-size bed.

I blinked multiple of times before I was able to open my eyes thanks to the ray of the sun. Did I forget to close the curtains last night and that's when it hit me Last night, what happened. My head is spinning I tried to remember what happened last night because this is not my bedroom.

When I looked to my right side. I saw a guy no A Greek god sleeping next to me that's when I remembered, I ask a guy to help me forget.

Uhh how stupid. But I couldn't help but admire his facial features, how can person look soo devilishly handsome, with is dark black hair and eyebrows, tanned skin and chiseled face. I leaned in closely to him using my index finger to trace the outline of his face, then to his eyes ,nose when I reached his lips, he suddenly held my hand and opened his eyes. He flashed a beautiful smile and said" Good Morning Baby girl"

I was soo embarrassed that I was not able to look up.

"Don't be shy I don't mind you doing that every morning" He said, that's when I remembered something.

I got up and on the bed facing him and he leaned on the headboard.

"Uhm about last night ....did we do ....,I mean did we ... did we do ....." My cheeks flushed red.

"Did we what"he asked with a smirk on his face.

"I mean who changed my clothes" I asked wanting to know.

"of course it wasn't me that changed your clothes, the maid did" He said but I was not fully convinced.

I got up from the bed to go to the bathroom, when he pulled my wrist.

"Aren't you going to tell me your name"

'I was reluctant at first since we are strangers to each other. but since he helped me last night ....'

"Rachel, Rachel Martinez thanks for helping me out last night"

"I love your name, but you passed out last night before we could get to the fun part." He said with a mischievous grin on his face.

I was shocked, I didn't know what to say.

He was a stranger to me and that's it.

I hurried to the bathroom, lucky I found my clothes neatly folded. I took a quick shower after that l got dressed, that's when I realized I will have to go to work straight from here and I can't send my previous outfit.

So I checked in his closet to find a shirt that will fit me. Luckly I found an Italian branded shirt that was my size. After tying my hair into a ponytail and wore my black stiletto. I took my purse, when I came out he was not in the bedroom. I spotted my phone next to the bedside lamp luckily my battery was at 58% percent meaning I could still use it.

I went down to the first floor to see that he had already showered and was dressed in an office attire without his coat. The mansion is very big and stylish Starting from the marble tiles to the chandeliers. This place has been luxuriously decorated.

" Won't you have breakfast with me before leaving"He asked.

"Ok but just coffee please"

" Why are u so in a hurry to leave me"

" I don't want to be late for work because yesterday I took a half day off" I explained then took a sip off the coffee.

"I would let my driver drop you off because your car is not her and my mansion is located at SVL Estate and there are no cabs around, I will send your car to your work place latest by 12"He said.

When she was done"thank you for everything , I work at Mega Corporation and I will like to borrow this shirt of yours"

"No problem, it suits you and by the way I hope to meet you again because our conversation is not over" He said

I smiled knowing that we won't cross paths ever again.

I reached work exactly at 8am. I thanked the driver and headed to my office as am the head of the Marketing department meaning I have a lot of paperwork to do since I took a half day yesterday. After settling in, I called my assistant Isabella Davis.

"Can you pls bring me the files I didn't go through yesterday and the ones for today" I said whiles putting my phone on charge.

"Ok Mam"She replied and left.

Meanwhile

"Boss this is the information we got about her" a handsome tall guy with brown hair and blue eyes reported in.( Brian Salvador)

"Hhm you can go, and get someone to deliver her car to Mega Corporation" He said

"Ok Boss"

After his secretary left, he opened the file to read it's content
