" Stop it Penny, hahaha"Rachel couldn't help but be fully awake.

"Penny am gonna kill you" Rachel said

"Well now you are fully awake. The tickling work. " Penny said and received a glare from Rachel

"hahaha , let's go" Penny pulled Rachel and went downstairs to have dinner. After Dinner Penelope and Rachel decided to watch some movies till Midnight.

Hours later

Rachel's phone started ringing , when she checked the name she realized it was her mother.

"Hello Mom, why are you calling me at the this time"Rachel asked as she checked the wall clock to find out that it's already 11:25pm.

"And why are you still awake by this time" Aline Martinez inquired.

"Uhm Mom, Penny and I were not feeling sleepy yet so we decided to watch some movies"Rachel replied honestly

"Ok, but do get some sleep, else it will be bad for your health." Aline Martinez said seriously

"Yes Mom" Rachel said nodding her head.

"Tomorrow be here by brunch. ok your everyone is coming so don't be late" Aline Martinez said. " I hope you remember what day tomorrow is, right??"Aline Martinez asked

"Yeah Mom, don't worry but make sure my favorites are also available " Rachel said eagerly

"Everyone's favourites will be available Dear" Aline Martinez replied with a smile

"Then I will leave you to watch your movie but remember to have some sleep" Aline Martinez warned

"Yes Mom, Good Night sweet dreams, dream about me" Rachel said with a smile on her face

Aline Martinez chuckled hearing what her daughter said at the end" Good night my Dear" Aline said then hunged up.

" What are you so happy about" Jose Martinez asked his wife who was still smiling after the call.

" My daughter still hasn't changed over the years she is still a foodie like you"

Aline Martinez said as she sat on the bed next to her husband.

" What do you mean by your daughter, she is also my daughter, and yes it's a good thing she took after me." Jose Martinez exclaimed.

" Okay, Okay let's sleep. It's going to be long day tomorrow" Aline Martinez said excitedly and switch of the bedside lamp.

In Rachel's family every first Sunday of the month is a family gathering. This was created by Rachel's Grandmother because when the kids grew up they became very busy and don't get time to visit their family. So she established the rule and since then it became a thing in the family.

Rachel totally forgot about it but lucky her mother called to remind her. She couldn't wait so see her sister, brother-in-law and her nephew and niece and also her little brother. She was already excited.

" Rachel popcorn is ready" Penelope as she walked in with a bowl of Popcorn.

"Thanks Penny, Tomorrow I will be going home, would like to accompany me" Rachel asked as she threw some popcorn into her mouth.

"Sorry No, Tomorrow am planning on sleeping in and do some Yoga and stuff. I wasn't able to do TODAY" Penelope said as she emphasized the last word.

" Okay"

" If want someone to accompany , why don't you ask Thiago ". Penelope said with a grin on her face.

" What!!! why would I do that ....."

"Oooh, Speak of the Devil" Penelope said blinking her eyes.

" Shhh " Rachel gestured with her index finger and picked up the call

" Hello " She heard a deep masculine voice.

" Hello " Rachel replied with a sweet voice which made Penelope chuckle

" You are still up by this time" Thiago asked curiously

" After I reached home I took a short nap so I don't feel sleepy" Rachel answered

" But don't stay up late" Thiago said seriously which made Rachel smile because from his tone she can feel that he genuinely cares for her, something her ex never did.

" Yh don't worry I won't stay up late and you also have to take on your own advice don't stay up late." Rachel said boldly which made Thiago chuckle from the other end.

" Don't worry Dear, I'm will make sure to sleep early." Thiago said with a smirk on his face.

"Okay, So Uhm Good night Thiago" Rachel said shyly

"Hmm why do you sound shy now. Where is the bold Rachel I was talking to earlier" Thiago teased Rachel.

" She's asleep so you also go and sleep" Rachel said with a blush on her face.

" Okay I will stop, Good Night Rachel" Thiago said with a wide grin on his face.

"Good Night Thiago" Rachel said softly and hung up.

"Awwww, So cute. " Penelope squealed excitedly.

"Don't bring yourself" Rachel said as she chewed the popcorn like a robot.

" But your cheeks are red " Penelope said.

" No they are not , you must be delusional" Rachel said and covered her face with her jackets hood.

Thiago kept on smiling after the call. He couldn't stop thinking about her after Lucas and Ricardo left . He wasn't sure a weather to call her because she might be asleep . After a long thought about it he decided to call her and luckily she was awake. He now felt refreshed after hearing her sweet voice and couldn't wait to tell his parents about her.

Thiago checked the time only see it strike midnight. He decided to sleep early because she asked him to Because originally he wanted to check some documents for an hour before sleeping.

Tomorrow he is going to make everything clear to his parents so that they will not place any obstacle in his path to pursue Rachel. So far he can see that she is starting to warm up to him. Little by Little she is starting to fall for him.
