Under Water Temple Part 1

Hikaru POV

A couple of days have passed and I readied myself for my mission, grabbing things necessary. Today I decided to drop Lance off at a church which was run by Theresa Rapual, which I also found that Gauche, a member of Black Bulls little sister stayed.

I took Lance to the church in the morning leering afternoon. We stopped at the front and made ourselves inside the church. I see many kids eating at the table and Theresa collecting dishes. I decided to call out to her while holding Lance's hand. "Theresa!" I say and she turns towards me.

She smiles and walks over to me placing the dishes down. "Why hello Hikaru, it seems you are finally back." I smile at her and nod my head. "Yes, it has been a while. I would like to catch up t to you and love to talk but I have another mission and must leave yet again." I sigh softly.

She chuckles. "Yes child, you are quite busy, but what is your reason to visit? I can assume you have not just came by just to say hi, considering you are a busy person." I chuckle a bit. "Still observant and know me too well."

With that said I pull Lance into view casting my eyes down to the said boy. Her eyebrows raise and her eyes get slightly bigger, "Is this?" Theresa looks at me in question. I nod my head "This is Lance my son." I tell her. Theresa's eyes get larger and a little sad thinking about something. I then continue "I saved Lance back in Heart and took him in. He is now my adorable son." I say ruffling his hair causing him to smile and hold onto me tighter.

Theresa's eyes return to normal and takes a breath "I see, so assuming you want me to watch over your son." she tells me. I nod my head "If you could, I'm sorry for this inconvenience and trouble, I'm afraid my brother is too busy and my family...You know how royalty is." I drift off.

She nods her head in understatement. "Do not worry my dear. I shall watch over your boy and make sure he is comfortable with the other children." I smile back at her. "Thank you so much Theresa! I'll make sure to deposit some money when I get back. Tell me if you need anything as well." I tell her.

She nods her head and bends down to look at Lance. "Hello, Lance. I'm Lady Theresa and I'll be looking after you when your mom is gone on her missions. There is other children as well that you could play with." his eyes brighten up and smiles and her.

"Hi Lady Theresa! It's nice to meet you." he bows slightly and Theresa chuckles a bit. "Why quite the polite child aren't you." He nods his head. "Of course! Mom taught me!" I blush a little and earning yet another chuckle from Theresa.

Theresa ruffles his hair. "Of course you did. Your mom is quite admirable. Why don't you come and sit with the other kids and I'll tell you some stories about your mom." My eyes widen at this.

"Now, Theresa. Don't get too carried away with the stories.." She smirks at me. 'Uhh man. She'll be telling all about my embarrassing stories!' I sweatdrop

Theresa then grabs Lance's hand and I say my last goodbye before I go on the mission "Hey Lance, I'll be gone for a little bit again. But I'll bring back a gift if I can okay. Be good for Theresa and play nice with the others. I love you, I'll see you soon." With that I kiss the top of his head and hug him.

Theresa watches us softly. I then get up and thank Theresa again. I exit the Church and make my way to the Black Bulls.

Theresa POV

At first hearing this boy was Hikaru's son was surprising. I look down at the said boy holding my hand as I guide him to the table.

When I first found out, I was sad and disappointed for Fuegoleon. Over the years watching them grow up along with the Silva boy, I've noticed the way that they look at her. It broke my heart knowing that Fuegoleon didn't even get the chance to tell her of his feelings.

I was soon releaved when I found out that she adopted the boy. When that red haired boy wakes up, I'll be sure to knock some sense into him to confront her. If he hasn't noticed then other boys will surely come along and take her away. Even that Silva boy may make a move. For all I know maybe she has already met someone in Heart Kingdom! That boy needs to stop being a coward and make his move.

I sigh out at this inner turmoil. Hikaru's boy looks up at me "What's wrong Lady Theresa?" he asks me innocently. "Nothing to worry about." I say kindly sending him a smile.

He nods his head. "You know Lady Theresa." the boy begins and I turn my head down to look at him when we were sitting down on at the table. "I was wondering. Ever since I got here with mom and have been around other people that she introduces me to like the magic knights, they tend to give me a glare or look. I don't really know what I did wrong and I asked mom. She always just told me not to worry about it and that their looks are just unfriendly. But the males that mom knows are scary." The boy shivers at the thought remembering the encounters.

I smirk, 'Wow these boys can't even mask their jealousy or issues with her child. The poor child caught up in this mess.' I pat his head comforting. "Your mom is correct in a way. You should not worry about it, though your mom is a little dense and does not really realize those looks it seems. But she will protect you from anyone and anything it seems. But those males, you shouldn't really worry about unless they cause you harm. If any of them do, you must tell your mother or uncle."

Lance looks back at me and nods. I smile warmly at him. 'Hikaru, your poor son is suffering of glares from your admirers.'

Hikaru POV

I met with the black bulls and set out to the ocean where the underwater temple is found.

We are now flying towards the ocean and I'm flying in the back with Yami. Having small talk every so often. I soon hear some members at the front yell "It's the ocean!!" I giggle at them.

The rest of the Black Bulls land down at the beach doing whatever as I accompany Yami in search of finding information. As I walk down the pathway I gaze at the ocean and comment "Wow, I haven't seen the beach and ocean in forever." and smile at the beautiful sight.

Yami then turns to glance at me and the ocean "Yeah, I haven't been to the ocean in years. I believe the last time I was near or seen the ocean was when I met you and Julius before I became a magic knight." I hear from the taller male.

I turn my head towards him and giggle. "You were so cute back then." He then looks urked and huffs his puff of smoke out in annoyance. I look up to face him. "What~ I'm not saying you aren't cute now. But your more manly than cute~" I tease a little. He replys with a "Yeah yeah. Let's get to work."

With that we both split up agreeing to meet each other back at the beach with the rest of the black bulls to share information. I head to different shop owners to gather information as Yami gathers information in another direction.

A little while later, I sigh out only gaining a little bit of information, being that 'The underwater temple only comes out once every year under correct conditions' and a warning. When I look up I'm met with a flirt. He has blonde hair and a cocky attitude. "Hey watch is a beautiful babe doing here all by yourself? Wanna come and hang with me? I tell you it'll be fun."

I get ticked off by this crude flirt suggesting something that I rather not do. 'Who does he think he is!' I brush it off trying to remain cool and move away trying to find another source of information. He looks ticked off now that I ignored him since I broke his ego. He grabs onto my hand stopping me from walking away. I turn to look at him and glare a bit.

"Would you kindly let me go." I say demanding him. He brushes off my warning. Just as I was about to do something, a presence behind me made themselves known. 'Ah this presence and mana.' I look at the fool in front of me as he pales and lets go of me. "What do you think your doing touching and bothering my girl?" The flirt stutters and shakes.

"My girl??!" I whisper yell to myself. 'Yami!!'

"So what are you doing!? Scram!" Yami demands the flirt. He wastes no time and quickly makes his way out of this situation. I calm my face down and turn around to look at Yami, "Thanks Yami." He casts his eyes down at me "Yeah. Let's just get information together." I smile at him and walk. I hum in agreement.

We finally gathered enough information and walked down to the beach to meet the others. Seeing them all scattered Yami gets irritated and gathers them all and buries them in the sand. I sweatdrop.

"Okay you incompetent knuckleheads were playing around. We got some information so listen up." Yami tells them and motions to us.

"So apparently the underwater temple is beneath the surface of the ocean around here.Unfortunately the currents are too strong so even a skilled mage can't get under there or near it." Yami informs them. I continue on for him. "So the only time the current is weak enough or even possible for us to get there is during a full moon." The black bulls faces show complete shock but not at what I said.

Their faces show 'Wow Captain Yami actually doing his job and being serious about it!" I suppress a giggle, knowing that Yami is pissed off. 'Man their faces say everything.'

Yami then puts his shoe on Asta's face and says "Man one day I'll really kill you." he takes his foot off of Asta and continues "Since the place is underwater, we'll need a magic spell." He then looks at Noelle. "So then Noelle that's where your water magic comes in and we'll ride it."

Noelle looks up at him in shock. "But...I'll need exceptional control over my magic to manage something like that....No! I can't do it. Find someone else. If you all are relying on me and mess up..."

Yami cuts her off "Then we die and that's it. We get sucked up into the currents and we're done, we drown. This is a top secret mission that the magic king has entrusted us, the black bulls, and Hikaru with. So there is no someone else. " he tells her with a straight serious face.

I keep quiet this whole time taking in this information. I'll let Noelle get control and do this herself. If needed and we are in trouble, then I'll take initiative and use my water spirit magic.

"The full moon is a week away. You got till then to learn how to control your magic. Push past your limits." Yami finishes and looks at her sternly. I smile gently at her encouraging her.

The night comes and most of us go to an inn to rest at.

I look out the window and feel the breeze on my face. "How nice." I say to myself. In the distance I see a small figure casting a ball of water. I smile yet again. 'She'll be just fine.'
