First day

Late in the night, in a dark alley, a man wearing a dark hoodie was run away from something or someone.

He bumped in some trash can and fell on the ground.

He looked behind him with an horrified face as some steps could be heard coming nearer.

"S-stay away from me !" he shouted as he stood up and start to run away.

He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, but he finish in a no thoroughfare.

Out of breath, he turned around to see the figure of someone wearing a black outfit and a helmet slowly walking toward him.

"Stay away ! Don't come any closer !" he shouted but the dark figure seemed to not wanting to stop.

The man then grabbed something in his pocket, it was gun.

He then pointed it at the person in front of him.

The person in black outfit stopped.

The man grinned as he saw his pursuer stop thinking that the person was intimidated. If only he knew.

"You don't look so cocky now !" he stated with a new found confidence.

"Who are you ?" the man asked his pursuer.

The person in black staid quiet.

"HEY ! ANSWER ME !" he yelled as je stepped forward.

Just at that moment person in black jumped at him with an inhuman speed and grabbed his gun before he could even realize what was happening, that move was followed by a vertical reversed rotative-kick at his neck sending him uncounscious.

Once he passed out, the dark figure sent their location to someone with a small device looking like a little smartphone and disappeared in the dark.

Ryuu was on a rooftop waiting for someone,wearing his vigilante costume

"It's been 20 minutes now ! Does something go wrong ?"

He was somehow a little worried.

Then a figure appeared flying from the edge of the building and landed in front of him.

The person in front of him was wearing the exact replica of his costume.

"What did took you so long ?" he asked.

"The target was quite fast at feeing !" a female voice replied.

His interlocutor then took of his helmet revealing Toori's smiling-face.

Her eyes were covered by a black blindfold, and some electrodes could be seen stuck on her temples and connected to a small device that looked like a collar that was around her neck.

"And did you catch him ?" He asked.

"Yes of course !" she replied joyfully.

"Good job then !" Ryuu simply said.

He then turned around to leave and she followed him.

Back home, he took their gear off and got some rest, Ryuu and the other were hoing to start school the next day after all.

One week after the entrance exam, Ryuu, Hitoshi and Mana all received the result of their exam.

The gathered at Ryuu's place to discover their results together.

They opened their envelopes at the same time.

There was a little silence before Mana spoke out,

"I am received !" she stated joyfully, what made her friends smile.

"What about you guys ?" She asked.

"Of course I am received as well !" Ryuu said prideful.

Their eyes then turned toward Hitoshi.

Hitoshi just sighed.

Mana and Ryuu looked at each other confused.

"Looks like we'll be two in the general course !" Hitoshi stated with a forced smile.

His friends immediately understood the situation.

Mana hugged him and said, "It's alright, we'll be togather after all !" trying to comfort him.

"She is right ! And you still have some chance to get into the hero course as long as you are a UA student !" Ryuu stated.

His last statement caught Hitoshi's attention.

"What do you mean ?" he asked.

Ryuu smiled before replying, "The sport event !"

"The sport event ?" Mana asked.

"Yes, if you can prove yourself in front of everyone there, you can get the chance to be transferred in Hero course !" Ryuu stated.

Hitoshi then found a new hope to acheive his dream.

Ryuu then extended a fist toward his friends.

"Let's do our best ! Over the limits, Plus ultra ! Right ?" he said.

His friends smiled and replied him with a "Yeah !"

They were forming a circle with their joined fists at the center.

Afterwards, they left the room.

Once outside, Hitoshi left to announce the new to his family.

Ryuu and Mana were left there alone.

"I wanted to know if the device was working well !" she stated.

"It's perfectly working !" he replied.

"Good ! It's still a prototype, I am glad that it is working well !" she said.

They were referring to the device on Toori's neck, Mana was the one whom created it, it was equipped with many built-in sensors that were connected to her brain, it worked by projecting information about her surrounding directly in her brain what made her able to somehow see again.

"Toori said that the information become a little blurred when she move quickly !" Ryuu said.

"I'll make some improvement soon !" Mana replied.

It was the morning, and Ryuu was preparing himself to go to school when his phone rang.

"Hello ?" he said after unhooking.

"Hello ! It's me where are you ? We've been waiting for you for 15 minutes now !" the voice of Hitoshi could be hear at the other end of the wire.

"Ahh sorry I'm coming !" Ryuu said in hurry as he burst out of his room and almost fell in tye stairs.

He then grabed a sliced bread.

He was about to leave when he saw a cup of tea.

Not able to resist he sat and drank it before leaving.

While he rushed in the courtyard he met his father.

"I am off !" he simply said as he past the man.

"Have a nice day !" the father replied whith a smile and eyes closed as he walked slowly toward the house.

"Thanks !" Ryuu replied after what he followed his track and ran as fast as he could toward UA's gates.

When he arrived at the gates , Hitoshi and Mana were already there waiting for him.

They were once again in front of the gigantic gate with UA logo engraved on it.

They then went inside searching for their respective classes.

Mana was first to find hers.

"See you at the lunch break !" She said with a smile as she left the two boys in the corridor.

"By the way, will you be able to keep up with your night-time activities now that school has begun ?" Hitoshi asked Ryuu while they were walking in the corridor.

"Well, I've found some help !" Ryuu replied with a little grin.

"Hum ?"

Their litttle chat ended as they found their class.

They was no one in the class yet.

They took their places and waited for the class to begin.

Their day passed smoothly, some presentation about the general course and some orientation course, but for their friend Aizawa it wasn't as calm as theirs.

At the end of the day, Ryuu, Hitoshi and Mana met at the gate, but to their surprise, the tired looking teacher was waiting them.

They looked confused as they saw him.

"Hum ?" Ryuu looked at him confused.

"What's are you waiting for ? I need some coffee !" the Hero stated while he was leaving the place.

The three teens just looked at each other and followed him.

They headed at the cafe, they took the habit to go there togather after their little meeting at their headquarter.

"So why do you look more tired than usual ?" Ryuu asked.

"There was a bunch of problem children in my class this year !" Aizawa replied.

"Interesting !" Ryuu said as he sipped of tea.

Aizawa sighed as he drunk his ninth cup of coffee. "By the way good job for last night !"

"Hum ? Well I just had some help !" Ryuu replied.

Aizawa didn't say anything, he just sent a suspicious gaze aty the boy.

Afterwards, they left, Aizawa went backat UA, Ryuu, Hitoshi and Mana headed at Ryuu's place.

They trained for hours before that Hitoshi left.

10 p.m.

Perfectly geared, Ryuu went at the field where the headquarter of the C-project was built, his father has given him a mission, he was ordered to investigate on the Shie Hassaikai.

He waited a little before Toori appeared.

"Are you ready ?" Ryuu asked her "This will be your first mission alone !"

"Yes I am !" Toori simply replied.

Ryuu asked her to replace him as The Canceler while he was investigating.

"Good then I am off !" he said as he left.

"Good luck !" Toori simply replied.

Afterwards, Ryuu went at the base of the Shie Hassaikai.

It looked like a typical house but in the underground…

Ryuu sneaked in the courtyard without being seen.

His father asked him to find an entrance for the underground.

Ryuu follow the wall untill he found a door in the backyard.

Once he was inside, he sneaked around the building.

He didn't encounter to much guards.

It took him two hours but he finally found the hidden entrance in the wall.

He was about to open the door when he heard someone talking.

"The formula…soon…completed…Overhaul !" a male voice could be hardly heard from behind the door.

"Good, our goal is closer now !" another one replied.

'Which formula ?' Ryuu askedhimself has he heard the voices approaching.

He then left before being able to hear more.

He quickly sneaked out of the building.

He then jumped on a rooftop.

"I need to repport that to the boss !" he stated.

He then left the place.

What kind of secret was hidden in that underground.
