The dress? Target

The shoes? Also Target

This shit show? Just that, a shit show.

In the basement of some run-down bar I didn't care enough to get the name of on the bad side of town I sat in the corner with yet another drink. I'd gone well past double digits since I entered the underground club but I was only getting started.

When telling the bouncer I was here to see this wizard guy he seemed less than interested in what I was saying, he simply rolled his eyes and nodded for me to head inside, once inside I sat down at the bar and ordered another shot, and another, and another.

And just as I was about to down my shot of shattered hopes and dreams a loud voiced could be heard through out the room and the people around me began cheering. I rolled my eyes and turned back to the bar, I was only here for the free booze.

"Damn, you lost me twenty bucks, blondie," The man from the bar smirked down at me as I slammed the shot glass down onto the bar top.

"How?"

"I made a bet with a friend saying you wouldn't come. You're way to clean cut and prissy for a place like this." He leaned back on the bar giving me a sideways glance, I scoffed. He doesn't know jack shit.

"You don't know shit about me."

"Maybe not," He lowered his large frame towards me so he was speaking into my ear. "But the look on your face tells me everything I need to know, I know chicks like you. They come here trying to escape, but guess what? This is the gateway to a lot more sinister shit."

"If I'm as innocent as you think I am, why bring me here?" I turned my head so we were now face to face. He smirked at me.

"Misery loves company, doll," He pushed himself off the bar and looked back at me. "Enjoy the fight."

I rolled my eyes. Dramatic much?

The announcer continued to sputter incoherent words over the roar of the crowd, I wasn't paying much attention until he said one little word that peaked my interest. Wizard.

"Tonight in the ring we have a death match ladies and gents. We have a foreigner entering the ring tonight and an assumed to be futile attempt to dethrone our very own Python. Ladies and gentle lets give a not so warm welcome to the wizard" The announcer spat out his name as if this wizard guy had killed his mother.

I turned towards the ring for one second to see a man entering it, he was wearing an emerald green satin robe that sat just far enough on his head as to cover his face. But there was one thing that robe did little to hide, and that was the shear size of this man. Now he wasn't especially tall, maybe five- ten to five- eleven. But what he lost in height he made up for in muscle. His biceps looked like they were going to rip right through the delicate fabric of the satin. He looked deadly, and from how confident the announcer had been that this wizard guy would lose I couldn't even imagine this other man as anything other than a monster.

Behind the wizard were two men, one of them was the guy from the bar, he made eye contact with me before winking. The other man was much older, he had a permanent scowl on his face as he stared at the other guy before elbowing him in the ribs and yelling something at him. His hair was beginning to fade to white and his skin starting to wrinkle, but that didn't seem to hinder his spirit in the slightest.

He reminded me of grandpa.

I returned my eyes back to the mountain of a man in the arena, he had taken off his robe to expose his face and torso as well as the shorts he was wearing. He wasn't what I was expecting him to be, was he intimidating? Yes. But it almost seemed as if he would be able to turn it off. As if all he would have to do is smile and he'd just be a normal gym bro.

The wizard was blond, a sandy blond, like the beach. It was shaggy and looked like it he just didn't care to do anything with it. From where I was sitting I couldn't tell what color his eyes were but they looked light. He had very strong, masculine features, a strong jawline and sharp cheekbones. Not to sound cheesy, but he looked like a statue. He was incredibly in shape as I had predicted, wherever there could be a muscle there was one. Which I was guessing was from hours of non stop training.

To keep it blunt, this man was smoking hot.

The boos of the people in the crowd could be heard as he talked with the older man which I realized was now probably his coach, if they even had those in the underground fighting world.

"And next, we all know him, we've watched him pound so many fighter wannabe's into the ground, here to defend his title as reigning champion, let's welcome the python" My eyes widen as this man walked out.

He to was nothing but stone solid muscles but he had to have at least six inches on the wizard. He came out sporting a royal blue robe without the hood up, confidence radiated off of him in waves as he walked in with his fists in the air and a smirk on his face, he was ready for a fight I wasn't sure this wizard guy was ready to give him. Tattoos snaked up his neck and bald head, even certain places of his face had tattoos. And when he got into the arena and took off the robe even more tattoos could be seen on his chest and torso, If I had to make a bet I'd say his entire body was tattooed. This man is what I had envisioned a street fighter to look light, intimidating, dangerous. The wizard was frightening, no doubt. But this man looked like the male version of medusa.

I looked between the two men, each one sizing the other up. I couldn't see why this guy would take on this python dude. It was mental, but I guess to fight in a place like this you had to be a little crazy, after all you could die, there were practically no rules.

I turned myself around in my seat. Now I just had to see this.
