Chapter #15 Changing the Job

Some policemen came to Chris's house and asked him if he had heard from Aran. They said that someone had asked the department to look for him as he had not returned home after several days.

Chris replied with putting worry on his face, "No, What happened to him?". They replied that they did not know but he had vanished from the scene and he was needed for the department as he applied and now there was no sign of him.

After that the police left, Chris took a deep breath and then got in deep thinking about this matter. He was panicking and wanted to clear his name without disclosing any sort of proof.

He thought of killing Chris and letting his dead body flow down the river. But he could not kill his friend. Then he thought of letting Aran work for him in the shadows. But Aran was too honest and clean that he had never even seen smuggling.

Then Chris decided to lock him in an office and let him control the finance. It was the perfect idea. Aran had been a cashier in his previous job. He knew how to handle finance.

Chris then made an office for him and asked his one guard to be in front of this door and never leave it no matter what. Then he had a carpenter install some shelves and a desk with a chair.

Then he had gotten a computer without internet and installed some finance softwares for Aran. Then he furnished his office and then went to meet Aran personally for the first time in his cell.

Chris then asked if Aran would work for him in finance and he would reward him handsomely. Aran asked if he had a choice. Chris replied, "No, I am sorry my friend but you have got no choice. Boys, Get him."

After that Aran was transferred to the new office. After that some files were sent by Chris to be sorted. Aran did the work slowly and reluctantly because he was a software engineer not a finance manager.

After that Chris went out of the hideout location going towards the place where goods were to be bought to party but was caught by the police department for speeding.

They asked him to get out of the car and was booked for speeding. Then they started checking the car and found the weed which he was going to sell to the party. He was immediately cuffed and brought to the police department.
