Chapter #14 Quite some Interesting Plans

"You want to run away after listening to my secrets? No, I do not think so. Shut him up in the basement. I won't let you run away after today but I would consider to not kill you since you are my so good friend. But your life will depend on your behavior" said Chris.

After that Chris directed his bodyguards to take Aran away. Both the guards grabbed Aran and took him to the next house on the right. After entering one guard opened a fridge, but it seemed to be a secret way to go to the basement.

They had an entire prison under the house and there Aran was shoved in and locked. He was asked to stay put and not try anything and if he did they would not hesitate to shoot him.

After that the guards left the basement from the same way they came. Aran saw that there were some more prisoners in the place.

Chris's POV:

It had became a big problem after he had led Aran into the street gang. He wanted to use Aran as a shield from the police department as he was trusted by many. By remaining in Aran's shadow, Chris had done business easily, and with him and Chris not coming to the police department they will become suspicious in a few days. On the other hand, he cannot let Chris leave after him knowing that his closest, dearest friend was the one who police were trying to find.

The police department could not barge in directly because of highly guarded fort. So, they wanted to plant a spy in the gang, so that they could arrest the leader directly, when he is in normal areas. They then held interviews for it, but did not tell the interviewees about the situation. So, they had registered that they needed a cyber security specialist.

Aran, having all the qualities required was on the top of the list because he had solved few cases himself for the department.

After some thinking, Chris decided that he would make his guards to heavily guard the basement and would face the consequences. He then went back to his original house and then pretended that he had went to meet his paternal grandparents in Czechoslovakia.

Some days later:

Some policemen came to Chris's house and asked him if he had heard from Aran. They said that someone had asked the department to look for him as he had not returned home after several days.
