Chapter One

The date was April 28th. At the time I was only a couple years old.

Everyone was gathered together at my home, I didn't know it, but my mother had just died, for most of the ceremony, I was in my nursery, as most infants are during events as such, because I didn't know what was happening.

She had died in a horrible car accident on the way home from the hospital a couple hours after my birth. My mom didn't have her seatbelt on because her stomach was still large like they usually are after birth, because she thought she'd be fine considering we only like ten minutes away from the hospital, but someone ran a red light and rammed straight into the passenger sides car door and she ended up in a coma.

My dad suffered very little injury, just a broken arm. I only had a small scar on my scalp from a small peace of glass that flew at me and one of my tear ducts was slightly injured but lucky it did no damage to my eye. You may wonder why there was a funeral if she only was in a coma... well, she was in the coma for 18 months, so my dad thought she'd never wake up again and he decided to let her go. Hence the funeral.
