ALEX TAKES HIS RESPONSIBILITY SERIOUSLY

Taking up the landline phone Alex calls Melissa instructing her to make a full grocery and to get tooth brush for them.

"And Melissa, when you come, I will need you to go and buy my medication."

Hearing her saying, "The Madam has already come to the office, and ask us to purchase the medication for you."

"Then bring the grocery item and thank you."

'She must have bought the things for the soup, and the clothes they are wearing now, it look new, because the bag she came with wasn't that big, and she had the towel inside it?'

After eating and feeding the child a few mouths full, 'He seems to have eaten already.'

Alex told Joash to play, "Son, your Papa will be right back." Hurrying up the stairs to take his medication, checking to see where she put it.

Finding it in the bedhead cabinet, Alex took the anti-biotic and two pain killers. Checking to see what she bought, but it was just two, house dress and a few pieces of undergarment.

From what she told Maria, she will now be staying a few days for his sake, and she don't like to miss church.

Recalling, 'When he was there last weekend, she had problem getting a dress to fit her.'

Reaching down the stairs seeing the child had put the television on and riding. Alex thought he should do some on-line shopping.

'She told Maria she came to do some shopping, so they won't think she was lying to them, but she really does need clothes.'

About to enters his study to get his lap top hearing Joash shouting, "Mummy, mummy."

Looking up the stairs but she wasn't there. "No son, your mummy is resting, now you play."

But he said it again, this time he was pointing at the television. Seeing her in the said emerald green dress receiving the award for the two plants.

She was looking so beautiful with a light makeup, and a black sandal about one inch high. Her hair was plait with an emerald green ribbon with silver edging, and it rolls in a bun.

'That must have taken a lot of time and cost a lot, but she looks amazing.

Going to the sturdy getting his lap top, then return and sit on the sofa while he rides his bike.

Selecting clothes on line for her and Champ. She needs a new wardrobe and so does Champ.

'They are my responsibility now, she had done her fair share, now it is my turn.'

Settling in his mind what is his duties, Alex completes his selections and was shutting down the lap top when the gate bell rings, checking to see who it was.

Alex opens the gate for Officer Holiday and Melissa. Then close it and open the garage door for them so it will be easier to bring in the supplies.

As they take in the supplies, Champ came holding his pants, "Papa, ice cream?"

"Melissa, have you bought any ice cream?"

"No Boss."

"Don't worry my son, it must have some in the freezer." Checking but it had none. "Papa, will get his son some tomorrow, I promise you."

Seeing the tears threatening Alex stoop down, "My son is very smart, and do you know your Papa love you very much."

Alex gets his wallet taking out a hundred dollars, giving Officer Holiday, "Will you please go and buy a container of ice cream for my son? He loves vanilla flavor."

In the kitchen Melissa was about to open the boxes and store away the supplies. "Melissa, you don't need to do this, just store away the items for the refrigerator.

Diandra and I will pack the other stuff when she wakes up." Alex thought, 'If Diandra packs it away she will find things easily.

"Boss, can you explain to me what happen today?"

"I supposed I was the target practice."

"Boss, is it safe for the madam and this child and we cannot forget the unborn baby. Boss if she knows the truth this might stress her out?'

"Look, I need her and further more there is no need to worry. I have secured the property a good few month ago when we had a problem with burglary in the area."

"Boss, it is the fourth attempt on your life, and with your family here, you are endangering their lives as well."

"I understand your concern about my family Melissa, but know this, I will safeguard them with my life, and use every precaution necessary."

"Okay, but please be careful."

"I will and Melissa, I can't thank you enough for all the moral support you have given me these last few months.

But since I found her, it has been very trying, especially when I am home alone. I need her more than I can say. She is the only person in this trying time that might help me relax."

"Boss, I don't want you to open your gate or door for anyone. Whenever an Officer is coming, I will call and let you know."

Seeing them leave Alex then lock the gate then switch on the electrical safety alarm. The roadway was clear so he lock the front door.

Calling out to the child, Alex dish out two glasses of ice-cream. "Joash, Papa have ice cream for you."

"Mummy!"

"Son, your mummy is resting, come on, your Papa will feed you."

Hearing him laughing as he runs up the stairs, "Joash, don't run son."

But he continues and went straight into the room his mother was sleeping. Hurrying up not wanting him to wake her.

By the time Alex reach the room with the two glass of ice-cream, he was already on top of the bed screaming in Diandra ear, "Mummy ice cream, mummy, mummy wake up, ice-cream."

"Okay Champ, I will get you some and stop jumping on the bed."

"Mummy, open your eyes."

Alex sees him lying almost on top of her chest, touching her eyes, when she did look at him he laugh."

"Mummy, Papa, ice cream."

"Your Papa gets you ice cream?"

"Yes mummy."

"Okay, mummy will get up,"
