Now trying to live out his lifelong dream, Jayden must navigate this new reality where superheroes and supervillains coexist. . . . . . My last story wasn't really starting off well so I decided to change it for this dc one while I fine-tune and mark out the other one that I'll upload into another story category. I'll be honest here I've never read a dc comic in my life but I love the movies and have been reading up on my favourite characters. I'm still confused about the whole rebirth thing and the new 52 but I'm trying. In any case, most of my knowledge will be from the movies, some videos I've seen from Kinglion, variant YouTube and of course the wiki. I've been recommended to watch the young justice TV show, static and other animated stuff so while writing this I'll watch some of that stuff in my free time. Also just a reminder, I'm not a professional writer and don't claim to be, I'll make mistakes, so pointing out those mistakes would be much appreciated. Then with nothing more to say I hope you enjoy my story, and if not then thanks for trying it out. ......................

Update and news(Important!!!)

Hey guys, it's been a while, You're all probably wondering where I was or if I was dead(JK...maybe.)

Some stuff has been happening Irl, school stuff, two job stuff, and now family stuff and I've just not had any opportunity for breaks or to write anything.

These days I'm barely sleeping 4-5 hours if that.

So here's the nitty-gritty of the situation...I unfortunately have to stop writing The Barber: DC fanfiction for a while, I would like to keep this book on a consistent rhythm, but if I can't do that then you guys end up forgetting stuff and then the story might feel prolonged.

THAT DOES NOT MEAN THIS IS ABANDONED OR DROPPED!!! I've almost spent 4 months writing this thing and I'm not going to abandon it.

But the chapters will stop for now, just until things cool down on my end and I can make a schedule where I can keep updates at least consistent like I had in the past.

Now this is where you guys come in, I've got two days off in the coming week( Monday and Tuesday), and this is where I'll use that time to finish this arc of the story and the final chapter will be a tease for the coming story arcs.

Now I need you guys to vote and decide on what type of chapter style you want before I put this book on pause.

It can be either two things, a mass release of all the remaining chapters and the final chapter of the coming arc, or one big final chapter combining all the chapters.

So basically one big chapter or smaller more digestible chapters. You guys can decide and I'll update you when I've finished it all and when I'll upload.

That's all I needed to say, Sorry again for not updating you guys sooner, hopefully, if I'm able I want to get back to writing in a month, but we'll see how things go.
