The 30 Skeleton knights immediately rushed toward the teams that just entered the room without wasting any hesitation, and in their response, the team quickly launch their attacks.

The captain awakened an ability which is a wave of slash that couldn't be stopped. A truck could be easily sliced in half like soft meat, and that just shows how terrifying his ability is.

Using his black sword, he executed his ability and within seconds 2/3 of the knights were wiped out completely from existence.

The only thing they left was their dark colour cores.

Once a human reaches 10 years old, they will be awakened, and under some circumstance, they will inherit a skill and those who have a powerful inheritance, will be treated and given privileges by the government.

Of course, under normal circumstances, children would not be allowed to participate in a dungeon, unless they have been approved by the government which is something Daniel had to go through difficulties.

The Knight couldn't go against the immense wave nor can they survive it, therefore they were killed easily by the tremendous wave that took their bones away.

The remaining knights were quickly dealt with by the rest of the members with their unique abilities.

They were mercilessly killed without any hesitation and as soon as the core appeared, Daniel had to collect it without missing any single of it or else his salary would not be paid.

After they were done, they move on and walked, leaving Daniel to collect the cores. Eventually, the boss itself appeared out of nowhere with more skeleton knights appearing.

A massive gigantic two-story-high skeleton knight appeared, it holds the power of peak Rank E and unlike ordinary monsters, a boss requires a couple of people at the same rank to be killed.

It roared with a deep eerie voice and its strength is emitting through its aura is no joke. Even its skeleton knights that were spawned out of nowhere appear to be more powerful than before.

Knowing the situation has changed, the team began acting seriously while Daniel can only stay at the side and watched.

The 50 skeleton knight that was spawned began advancing toward them and the captain shouted.

''BE CAREFUL, EVERYONE KEEP YOUR GUARDS UP" He warned.

''Maxima chain!'' One of the team members activated his skills that formed up chains of electricity that electrocuted some of the knights, burning their bones.

Though the cores have dropped, Daniel can't sneak in to obtain the cores as they are in a battle or else he would die.

Thus the battle against the boss started.

The Team Captain is the only one who's fighting against the boss itself while his teammates handle its minions and all of them are cooperating well.

Their abilities and skills were complementing each other, right after each strike, they would send another attack, leaving no rest to skeleton knights and eventually, they wiped out the whole minion, and they could finally assist, their captain.

Quickly after supporting the captain's fight against the boss, they were finally done with the dungeon and managed to gain two skill books which surprised them all.

''Look guys we have earned two skill books! And it's a rank F at that!'' One of the members shouted excitedly, attracting the other's attention.

''Hahaha, We struck reach! With these books, we can earn more money and then, we have can visit the brothel again and have more booze!'' The Captain laughed and said. They were enjoying discussing how to spend the money they have after today's unexpected gain while Daniel had to collect the cores.

'When can I be like them? I wish I can like them, only then will my sister can wake up from her coma and live the life of luxury' Daniel wished inside his mind, hoping that it will come true.

50 years ago, in the year 2022, the world met the 'Day of Apocalypse'. A massive amount of comets soon fell down the sky throughout the whole world, destroying and causing destruction in every part of the world, whether it will be the humans, the animals, the ocean, land or the sky, none were spared.

If that wasn't bad enough, natural disasters soon struck the whole world. Tsunamis, Tornadoes, earthquakes, and Volcano eruptions were all happening at the same time causing even more death and casualties.

Overall the world was in utter chaos however that wasn't the end as that was the beginning of the Apocalypse.

Dungeons soon began appearing one by one from sheer existence with no data and evidence on how they were born or where they have come from but one thing is for sure is that these dungeons were bad news.

Having no idea what the dungeon does and when the government send soldiers in, they were killed and communication devices don't work inside the dungeon which is why they never care about clearing the dungeon since if you don't clear a dungeon within the time frame of 1 month, an outbreak will happen.

Monsters came out from every dungeon and began devouring every human that it has come across and no matter how young they are, they will still be devoured throughout their whole existence, not leaving a single bone.

Every country that has brought humanity together and firmed began to crumble down and most of the countries in the world have already fallen and humanity slowly started to lose hope.

However, a certain phenomenal experience has occurred on every remaining human which results in what humanity named it 'Age of Awakening' or 'Awoken'.

All humans at the same time have gained an ability or skill to kill these monsters that have brought chaos in their lives and not only that, their strengths were tremendously multiplied which gave them a boost to retaliate against these monsters.

Many thought that God has not forsaken them yet but overall humanity began their massacre towards the monsters and slowly, they were gaining back their land and lives however if humanity can grow stronger then why the monsters can't too?

The more humans engulf and discover more about these monsters, the more terrified they felt about the true terror of these species nonetheless they didn't give up.

Over the years, mankind managed to regain most of their lands which now till today, it has formed a country called Freedom which contained all of the human survivors.

The country of Freedom is a very simple name yet it holds very deep meaning and that is to be free.

Freedom contained a total population of 10 Million as it was able to steadily increase over the past few decades.

Freedom also has 10 districts which are easily named after numbers from 10 to 1 and the lesser the number the better the living condition will be and Daniel belongs to the lowest one.

Freedom is not the only country that was formed throughout the years, there were dozens of other countries that managed to regain back their peak and because of the advancement of technologies, there were many inventions were created to not only stand against the monster but also against everyday life.

Thus, some thought of the apocalypse as hell and some as heaven, but overall, it destroyed yet evolved humanity's life.
