The Dungeon that Daniel has attended with the team is an E-Rank Dungeon where it's one of the most common and popular dungeons that beginners would like to enter.

Dungeons have a rank to represent their difficulties which fall under E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS.

To clear an E-Rank Dungeon, the members participating must have at least been at E-rank to clear.

Similarly to dungeon ranks, the symbolisation of a hunter's total strength starts from the G rank, F E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and eventually SSS.

Unlike the dungeon ranks, a hunter rank has below E rank, and unfortunately, Daniel's hunter rank is not even F since he's not awakened.

The higher the rank of a hunter, the more power he is, those at SSS could rival a country's prowess, and there are rumours beyond SSS, but they are indefinitely a rumour.

Other than that, inside an E-Rank Dungeon, there isn't any danger as long you pay attention carefully to yourself and the environment, and for this dungeon, there are only monsters such as skeletons.

With their extremely low agility and strength, there isn't any danger unless you're weak and the reason why the Captain decided to hire Daniel is that he needed a backpack boy.

It is a hassle for the team members to carry their stuff like pills, potions and equipment which is why they rather let someone carry it nonetheless that is what Daniel is only good for and other than that there were none.

Daniel can only painfully accept the harsh reality of being a normal person, however, he refused to succumb to his weakness.

That's why he resolves himself to tortuously carry the heavy bag that always seems like breaking his bones.

He gritted his teeth and continued to try and catch up with them however they were too fast for him, no, it was because he was too slow and struggles to follow their speed.

At some point, he fell at one point which makes even the captain even more furious.

''WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?'' The captain screamed so loudly that Daniel's eardrum almost burst out.

The captain quickly walked toward Daniel and he gripped his hair and pulled towards him while threatening him with his bloodshot eyes.

''DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE THE ITEM INSIDE THE BACKPACK IS?'' He shouted with saliva coming out of his mouth.

Furious and rage were all over his head to the point he wanted to kill Daniel to end it all, but even so, he still needs someone to carry the backpack.

''Y-Yes I kn-

''THEN WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU FALLING FOR!?''

''I just nee-

''IF IT DROPS WHO'S GONNA PAY!? IS IT YOU!? HAA!? IS IT YOU!?''

''I'm sorry-

''I'M ASKING WHO'S GONNA PAY AND NOT ASKING FOR YOU TO APOLOGIZE''

At this point, Daniel already started crying, tears were coming out of both of his eyes and he looked too pitiful which will make any mum just want to protect him.

It's too pressuring for him to be shouted at nor can he take it and the way the captain is gripping his hair, swinging back and forth is even hurting him much.

''Y-Yes it will be me s-so I'm sorry'' Maybe that sentence is what the captain wanted to hear for no reason at all, he finally releases his grip on his hair.

Perhaps, the captain's favourite hobby is to triumph over the weak which is why he behaves in such unruly behaviour.

The other men just seemed to not care about it, however, they instead treat it as a joke and couldn't contain their laughter at how pathetic Daniel is.

Daniel's eyes were all red due to crying and he wiped his tears away with a not-so-cleaned cloth that was given to him by his childhood friend on one of his early birthdays.

To this day, he kept it and treated it like a treasure.

Though it was just a simple cloth with their names stitched on it, he wasn't bothered by how cheaply it was since she couldn't afford any gifts.

Even so, the treasures it a lot until he can't be further apart away from the cloth.

It's the only memorable item that she left to him which is why he treated it like a diamond, always cleaning and taking care of it.

Soon, the team finally arrived in a certain cave where dozens of bones were piled up, imposing that here is where the skeleton monsters are.

Before reaching here many monsters have come across their path. Nonetheless, it was easily dealt with by them as they weren't so tough.

The monsters that they encountered here is a variety of weak Rank-F skeleton monster, hence, there isn't any difficulty in killing them all

In total, 78 varieties of skeleton monsters were slain and that means Daniel has to collect 78 cores.

Once a hunter slew a monster, they will immediately drop a core and sometimes skills or items may drop, but those have a lower chance, however, killing the boss will drop at least one of them.

This is why this dungeon is one of the most popular dungeons to have.

Some might question what is the use of Monsters' core, and simplify it all, it has a variety of uses such as the replacement of oil, electricity and even as the main ingredient to concoct a pill or brew a potion.

As the team killed the monsters, Daniel must somehow find a way to obtain the core, saving the team time and energy.

Fortunately, the size of a monster core is a small orb which lessens the space it needed. However, as more piled up, it became heavier, but Daniel couldn't complain or else he will be reprimanded which is something that he doesn't like.

All he could do is to grit his teeth and carry on.

Of course, not all the time was Daniel able to peacefully collect the cores since the captain couldn't leave him alone and he kept disturbing his work.

''Why the fuck are you slow?''

''HAHAHA This job seems to fit you after all HAHAHA''

None of the team members is willing to give a hand to him as it seems too tedious and time-consuming, so they just kept silent and let Daniel do his job without even offering assistance.

Afterwards, the team were slowly entering within the range of what you called the boss room.

Since they have completed most of the journey while coming here, they have finally arrived at the boss room where many skeleton monsters roamed around.

Their numbers are unlike what they have encountered before and the skeleton monsters were alarmed by their presence.

The moment their empty eye sockets sees a bunch of humans entering their domains, they immediately ran to them without stopping.

"Skeleton Knight Incoming!" The captain warned his teammates.

Unlike the previous skeletons they encountered, the skeleton knights are more powerful since they possess knightly skill, and they were one rank above normal skeletons, rank F.

The skeleton knight had armours all over their bodies while holding a black sword. Due to them being undead, they emitted a foul smell with parasites lingering all over their tangents and eye sockets.

An F rank monster has the strength and might of a hundred soldiers while a rank G monster has the strength and might of ten soldiers, so there's a huge difference between them.

This might not be an accurate description since many factors are involved in deciding a person's strength, nevertheless, this is just general knowledge.

A hunter or monster has 4 components inside their status, Hp, Mp, Power, and Skill.

Defence, Speed, and Strength fall under Power, Toughness falls under Hp, and Mana, of course, would be Mp.

There were about 30 Skeleton Knights rushing as though they were looking at a drug, however, despite their numbers, the team weren't afraid as their strengths are enough to easily handle these zombies.

The 7 of them except for Daniel were Rank F hunters with the leader being an E rank. Hence, they have the necessary force to retaliate against the Knights. It was like walking in a park to them.
