Her Nightmare!

Sarya was never taught to fear. Her brevity in all aspects had made her the greatest Luna ever in the land of Haptic. She was their mother. They were her children and she never failed to treat them as much. They were her family and her mate was the best. She was thankful to have been paired with Tiran by the moon goddess. She would not have wished for anything less. Not when he treated her like an egg. The Luna of the pack - of his heart. In all her years as a Luna, she had lived for him. She had lived for the people. The people who now sought her heart. Her child.

She was weak. Her legs were sore from all the walking. Not even her wolf would help her. The severe damage on her body rendered it weak and she could not transform. At least not until she was healed. Such a perfect timing!

She did not want him to see her weakness. She had to be bold. She knew Arkanta. If he had killed her mate then it only meant one thing, he now had the power of the Alpha. He had Tiran's power and that made her weak in his eyes. She tried to stand but suddenly regretted it as she hissed in pain and went back to her initial position. How could she be so stupid? She had not eaten for so long.

"Where is the child?" Arkanta asked angrily. His eyes were blazing and his claws impatient. Sarya looked at him and tried to let out a chuckle. She had to buy time to see what he could do. Was there something she really could do?

"The child, where is she?" Sarya asked sarcastically looking around only to irritate him. It was not the best choice but she knew she had to get into him. He would not dare to kill him anyway. At least no until he had found the heir to the Luna pack.

"Don't play with me Sarya or else my claws won't have mercy on you," his claws were getting sharper. His hearing had been sharpened and he was happy. He could hear the sounds of the crickets, the sound of mating birds and animals that had not yet slept in the forest. It was irritating at a moment he only wanted answers of the whereabouts of Laura.

He walked towards Sarya and kneeled infront of her. He watched her hazel eyes and drew his hand to caress her face when Sarya slapped him off. She looked at him with disgust. Her wolf was still weeping the loss of their mate and now he was trying to get to her too. She would not allow it.

"You have the nerve to trample on the very dog that protected you. The family that stayed by your side and shared everything with you? How could you Arkanta?" She asked in between gritted teeth afraid if she opened her mouth, she will only let her fangs out and the outcome would be worse. Could anything else be worse?

Arkanta stood up. His claws withdrew, he had calm down. He laughed out hysterically loud. Sarya watched him as he looked away and decided to strike. He was buying time for her strength. For her wolf to find reason to fight again - Laura.

"Look at this," he turned back to see Sarya on her two feet. He was surprised and it only appeared in seconds. He had another card up his sleeve. The only card that would make kneels bow and her mouth bend to kiss her feet.

"I presume you know what this is, right?" He stretched a necklace towards her and when she saw it, she broke again. A tear escaped her left eye and her heart seemed to have been broken to pieces. She was shattered. She knew it already but she had not come to terms with it. She had not accepted it. It was the other half of the heart pendant.

"You already killed Tiran, what else do you want Arkanta? What more do you want?" She had felt the absence of her mate. She had heard Arkanta's howl of victory but she had not anticipated that he would take the only thing that was linking him with his mate.

"What happened to 'thank you', Arkanta asked sarcastically.

"Couldn't you have at least let him live with that? What? Did you take his clothes too? His manhood? Because you will sure need it when you're ready to be man enough," She was angry but her anger did not speak. Her sorrow pushed out the words. She was grieving but not in a proper way. Not like she should for her mate.

"You've grown so bold!" She moved towards him and tried to grab the pendant from his hands but she couldn't as he withdrew his hand. He twisted her hand and placed her back in his chest as he got hold of his neck.

He kissed her neck vigorously holding on to both her hands. His wolf growled and grumbled with the power it had. Arkanta fought it with earnest courage but more in fear. A part of him wanted to strip down her clothes and go into her. He was hungry yet his wolf would not allow him. He was fighting with two people - his wolf and Sarya.

The disgust in Sarya's face was visible enough and the anger that surged through her nerves paved its way out. She was held in captive, her front arms suffering the pain. He caressed her hair going down to her chest. He watched her reaction and the more she resisted and tried to fight, the more his desire got wild.

He was loving the sight so he swallowed his saliva as he stared down at her bossom. His eyes blazed with desire that drove him to stretch his hand further to her navel. Her legs had been weak from so much running. The pain numbed her and her feet were steady as if accepting their fate.

What will happen to our poor Sarya, sigh!
