Chapter 35: Alliance With The Matsumura Sisters

After the auction officially ended, Iona,Kaori and Noctis met up in the Inn of the 10th floor at the Novice Stage,while Yuusei went back to his spot in the VIP Corner of the Blacksmith shop to reconsider . 

They sat at a VIP table in the Inn, busy eating a meal of oven roasted chicken, while drinking expensive cider. 

"I believe you didn't invite us to this meal for nothing, and for free, Lelouch. You even took extra precautions to place a shield barrier around us that prevents the others in the VIP section from overhearing what we're talking about.  Who are you? What do you want? Why did you help me and my sister earlier? "

Iona asked Noctis while she was slicing a piece of chicken with her fork and knife.

" Just call me Zero instead. As for who I am, well, both of you will know when the time is right. Straight to the point. I see. What if I told you that I know exactly who the entire Assassin Guild is planning to face off against right now, and I got better quality items and weapons that stand a very good chance of defeating the enemies of your Guild in an upcoming battle your Guild Leader is planning to instigate? I can supply those weapons and items to you, but it comes with a price. "

Noctis replied while drinking apple cider, swirling the half-full glass and looking straight at Iona. 

Kaori nearly choked on the chicken she was eating upon hearing those words. 

What does that mysterious masked guy want? He seems to be an Assassin/Spellcaster class player, and an elite player at that. Is he a newcomer to this game? I've never seen him around before. 

Kaori thought to herself as she bluntly asked Noctis how he managed to obtain that information. 

"I have my sources, and I won't disclose how I got wind of such top secret information to you." 

Noctis casually replied back. 

"It's indeed a surprise that you manage to get hold of top secret information,Zero. However, you haven't answered my question on what you want from us yet." 

It was Iona's turn to look Noctis straight in the eye. 

"What do I want, Iona? I know that you use ice daggers as your weapon. You're not satisfied with your current weapon, correct? You're also looking for powerful snow and ice spells to use on the battlefield. I got powerful spells that I can teach you. But in return, I need you to be my ally. And I want you to arrange a meeting for me with your Guild Leader. Your Guild Leader is planning to purchase better quality weapons and items beforehand, correct? I'll also be giving high quality items and weapons to your sister. "

" If I agree, what do I get out of it? My sister and I don't just make allies with anyone for nothing. "

" Haha. I'm not just anyone, Iona. Those three items at the auction house earlier? I was the one who had them customized. Don't you wonder where I got the lot of gems from that I just casually gave to you? I know you and your backstory, Iona. The items and weapons I'll supply your sister Kaori will help her obtain the Nobility Badge at a much faster pace, and Kaori will be a great help to you, and even me in her own way, and she'll be even more useful the moment she obtains the Nobility Badge. So, do we have a deal? "

" Alright. We have a deal. "

" Here's a spellbook containing powerful Dragon-ice spells that are much more efficient and have far more destructive power than what you currently have. This is a complete spellbook, and you can obtain new active and passive skills after reading and memorizing what's written inside. Oh, and there are also a lot of useful equipment-enhancement spells there to boost the effectiveness of the items you use."

Noctis grabbed a copy of a spell-book with the emblem of the ice dragon imprinted in the book cover from the system inventory, and handed it over to Iona. 

The three of them continued to eat and drink, then proceeded straight to the VIP Section of the Weapons and Items Shop on the 10th floor of the Novice Stage. 

" You think you can easily impress us with weapons and items you bought from here? "

Kaori asked, her eyebrows arched in disbelief. 

" Oh, really, Kaori? Don't you forget that it was me who saved you from getting eliminated by Esumi of the Necromancer Guild. Trust me. I know what I'm doing." 

Noctis replied with a clever grin plastered in his face. 

It's a good thing that I got my father to agree that I can have any items/weapons upgraded or even destroyed at any Blacksmith Shops in any stages/floors in RPG Fantasia in advance. I dare not give them weapons and items that last forever, as these two girls might turn against me anytime. Better to keep them on the leash than be sorry later. 

Noctis thought to himself. 

While the two girls looked on, Noctis bought two pairs of plain stainless steel daggers, a Rare class bow and arrows imbued with a fire element spell, 1 pair of Rare class swift boots with defense against the fire element, and another Rare class swift boots with defense against the Ice element. He also bought the two girls a matching pair of  Rare Class sexy attire, which has extra defense against the ice and fire elements, respectively. He also purchased a Rare Class necklace imbued with the ice element booster that will boost the power of the ice attacks by up to 90%.

He placed the items on his inventory. 

Then he bought all the available Max HP potions, Max elixirs, and Max Cure-All potions. 

He distributed those potions evenly to the two sisters. 

The three then left the Weapons and Items Shop, and proceeded straight to the Blacksmith's Shop to have the remaining items upgraded.

They went straight to the VIP Section of the Blacksmith's Shop.

Noctis got surprised for a moment to see that Yuusei had already left the VIP Corner, and was nowhere to be found. 

He must have returned to the Legendary Stage, and set up shop in a VIP corner on a Floor somewhere there. Goodluck to him anyway, and I hope he'll continue to be useful. 

Noctis thought to himself as he approached the new blacksmith who manned the VIP Corner. 

After giving specific and concise instructions to the Blacksmith, he paid the Blacksmith in advance, and even added in a little extra to fast-track the upgrading of the weapons and items he bought earlier from Rare Class to Legendary Class items. 

He told the Blacksmith to give those items and weapons to the two girls who are with him, and told the blacksmith to alert the two girls when the items will be available for pickup. 

It was already deep into the night when they left the Blacksmith's Shop, so Noctis and the two girls went back to the Inn to rent a VIP room. 

Noctis, Kaori, and Iona slept together in bed stark naked, totally exhausted after the two girls took turns having sex with Noctis.
