Chapter 2: Summoning and Preparations

Ayush stood in his room, the morning sunlight streaming through the windows. His mind was abuzz with plans and strategies. Today, he would take the first concrete steps toward preparing for the outbreak. He needed to act swiftly and decisively.

"System, summon one MARCOS commando please do it in formal civilian clothes and put all of his combat gear in my inventory ," Ayush said, his voice steady despite the slight tremor of anticipation.

A soft glow filled the room, and a figure materialized before him. The man was dressed in a 2 piece black suit with a white shirt and black tie and black sunglasses , exuding an air of quiet strength and alertness. His eyes met Ayush's with a calm, assessing gaze.

"Welcome," Ayush said, extending his hand. "I'm Ayush. What's your name?"

"Ravi," the commando replied, shaking Ayush's hand firmly. "How can I assist you, sir?"

Ayush nodded, appreciating Ravi's straightforward demeanor. "You will be my driver and bodyguard. We have a lot to do today, starting with meeting my lawyer to arrange the liquidation of my assets."

Ravi gave a crisp nod. "Understood. Shall we head out?"

Ayush grabbed his keys and led the way to the garage, where his sleek black BMW 530i M Sports awaited. As they were about to get into the car,Ayush thought for a moment and brought out a glock 19 and handed it to Ravi after which Ravi took the driver's seat with practiced ease, adjusting the mirrors and controls.

"Let's go," Ayush said, getting into the back seat feeling a surge of confidence. With Ravi by his side, he felt ready to tackle the challenges ahead.

Their first stop was the law office of Mr. Gupta, Ayush's family lawyer. The drive through Delhi's bustling streets was smooth, thanks to Ravi's expert driving. Ayush used the time to mentally rehearse the conversation he would have with Mr. Gupta.

Upon arriving at the office, they were greeted by a receptionist who led them to a spacious conference room. Mr. Gupta, a distinguished man in his fifties with a sharp intellect and keen eye for detail, was already waiting.

"Good morning, Ayush," Mr. Gupta said warmly as they shook hands. "What brings you here today?"

"Good morning, Mr. Gupta," Ayush replied, taking a seat. Ravi stood quietly by the door, his presence reassuring. "I need your help to liquidate most of my assets. I want to convert everything except my home into cash."

Mr. Gupta's eyebrows rose in surprise. "That's quite a drastic move, Ayush. May I ask why?"

Ayush had anticipated this question. He leaned forward, meeting Mr. Gupta's gaze steadily. "I have my reason to do it Mr Gupta I want to ensure I have liquid assets to handle any emergencies and secure necessary resources."

Mr. Gupta studied Ayush for a moment, then nodded slowly. "Very well. You understand that this will involve selling your investments, properties, and other assets? The total liquid amount will be over sixty crore rupees."

"Yes, I'm aware," Ayush said. "Please proceed with the necessary arrangements as quickly as possible."

Mr. Gupta made a few notes on his tablet. "I'll start the process immediately. It will take some time, but I'll prioritize speed without compromising value."

"Thank you, Mr. Gupta," Ayush said, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. This was a crucial step, and he was glad to have someone as capable as Mr. Gupta handling it.

As they were about to leave the law office, Ayush suddenly stopped and went back inside and asked Mr Gupta to also arrange opening of a Car rental company in his name to he looked confused but accepted to do it.There was still much to do so He turned to Ravi. "Next, we need to meet with some real estate agents. I need to purchase a property that can serve as a safehouse."

Ravi nodded and started the car. "I have a few contacts who can help us find something suitable. I'll reach out to them."

Ayush appreciated Ravi's proactive approach. Within minutes, Ravi had arranged a meeting with a reputable real estate agent. They drove to the agent's office, where they were greeted by Mr. Sharma, a seasoned professional with a wealth of local knowledge.

"Mr. Sharma, thank you for meeting us on such short notice," Ayush said as they shook hands.

"It's my pleasure, Mr. Ayush. How can I assist you today?" Mr. Sharma asked, his demeanor friendly yet professional.

"I need a property that is secure, spacious, and preferably on the outskirts of the city," Ayush explained. "It should have access to clean water and be defensible."

Mr. Sharma nodded thoughtfully. "I have a few properties in mind that might fit your criteria. Shall we go take a look?"

Ayush agreed, and they set off to visit the properties. The first two were decent but didn't quite meet Ayush's stringent requirements. The third property, however, caught his attention immediately. It was a large secluded estate spanning almost 8 acres with high walls with barbed wires ,a large basement its own underground water supply,it is powered by solar panels and plenty of space for storage and defense.and is in a less densely populated area outside of Delhi

"This looks perfect," Ayush said, turning to Mr. Sharma. "I'll take it."

Mr. Sharma smiled. "Excellent choice, Mr. Ayush. I'll handle the paperwork and expedite the process for you."

With the property secured, Ayush felt a sense of accomplishment. He had a base of operations, and the liquidation of his assets was underway. Now, he needed to focus on gathering supplies.

The rest of the day was spent meeting with various suppliers—food distributors, medical supply companies, and even an arms dealer. Ayush used his newfound wealth to purchase large quantities of essentials, ensuring that he was prepared for any eventuality.

Throughout the day, Ravi remained by his side, driving him from one appointment to the next, his presence a constant source of reassurance. By the time they returned home, Ayush felt exhausted but satisfied. He had made significant progress, and he was one step closer to being fully prepared for the outbreak.

As Ayush lay in bed that night, he reflected on the day's events. The Apocalypse System had given him the tools he needed, but it was up to him to use them wisely. With Ravi's help and the resources at his disposal, he was determined to face the challenges ahead and protect those he cared about.

The real battle was just beginning, but Ayush was ready.

#######

Ayush woke early the next morning, his mind already focused on the tasks ahead. He had arranged for deliveries of the supplies they had purchased to be sent to his newly acquired safehouse. The estate was being prepared to serve as both a fortress and a storage facility for their provisions.

After a quick breakfast, Ayush and Ravi set out in the BMW once more. Their first stop was at a local hardware store to procure additional security measures for the property—barriers, surveillance equipment, and reinforced doors and windows. Ayush was intent on fortifying their safehouse against any potential threats.

As they loaded the supplies into the car, Ayush received a message on his phone from Mr. Gupta. The liquidation of his assets and opening of the company was proceeding smoothly, with both being expected to be available within the next few days. Ayush felt a sense of relief knowing that he would soon have access to the resources needed to continue his preparations.

Their next stop was at a firearms dealer recommended by one of Ravi's contacts.now the thing is he is a illegal dealer and he could get in trouble due to this but thankfully due to the system inventory Ayush had nothing to worry about as the authorities will never be able to prove anything , but for someone who had never handled a weapon before the system had imbued him with expert skills, approached the task with a focused determination. Under Ravi's guidance, he selected a variety of firearms—modern rifles like the AK-47, Glock handguns, and a Remington 870 shotgun—along with ammunition a lot of ammunition not only for the weapons he purchased but for those weapons as well which come with the combat gear of the summons.

"Are you sure about this, sir?" Ravi asked quietly as they completed the purchase knowing that this could get them in a lot of trouble right now

Ayush nodded solemnly. "We need to be prepared, Ravi. If the worst happens, we'll need to defend ourselves and others."

Ravi's eyes held understanding as he nodded in agreement. His years of training had taught him the importance of being ready for anything.

With the weapons secured and to be delivered to his safe house tomorrow , they made their way to Ayush's safehouse. He wanted to check the property and ensure that the security measures were being implemented correctly. The estate was secluded, with high walls and its own water supply—ideal for their needs.

Throughout the day, Ayush oversaw the delivery and installation of security measures at the safehouse. He worked alongside the contractors, ensuring that everything was done to their specifications. By evening, the property was secure, and their supplies were neatly organized and stored.

As they sat down for a late dinner at a nearby restaurant, Ayush finally allowed himself a moment of respite. He looked at Ravi, who was scanning the room with practiced vigilance.

"Thank you, Ravi," Ayush said sincerely. "I wouldn't have been able to do all this without your help."

Ravi inclined his head. "It's my duty, sir. I'm here to support you in any way I can."

Ayush smiled faintly, grateful for Ravi's steadfast support. The days ahead would be fraught with challenges, but he knew they were better prepared now than ever before.

As they finished their meal and prepared to head back to the safehouse, Ayush felt a renewed sense of determination. The countdown to the outbreak had begun, and every moment counted. With Ravi by his side and the resources provided by the Apocalypse System, he was ready to face whatever challenges awaited them.

---

In the following days, Ayush continued to refine their preparations, gathering additional supplies ranging from food, spare parts, and vehicles and reinforcing their defenses. Each day brought new challenges and uncertainties, but Ayush faced them with unwavering resolve. He doesn't know the date of the outbreak , but he knew that his preparations would soon be put to the ultimate test.

He has spent a whopping 16 crore rupees in purchaseing the vehicles he has brought 10 Black Toyota Fortuner,10 Toyota Hilux,4 Tata nexon EV,10 EV bikes,a black Land Rover Defender And had them all armoured along with the cars he already owned those being a BMW 530i msports,a Range Rover Valar and a BMW m340i

The Apocalypse System had chosen him for a reason, and Ayush was determined to prove himself worthy. With Ravi and their growing network of allies by his side, he was ready to confront the horrors that awaited in the days ahead.
