The Alpha on Campus

“Do you want me to?” I asked her, my lips inches away. Her tank-top rode upwards, exposing the bare skin of her waist. She fluttered her eyes in appreciation for the attention I’d given her. She said that I was her first boyfriend, however, she masterfully knew how to tease me, moving her body in harmony with mine. “Please, Alex!” she exclaimed. I gladly obliged. — All Loren Ambrose wanted was to get a handle on her new magical identity at Silverstone University of Magicks, but her life was dramatically shifted after discovering that she was powerful enough to kill immortal beings. Chapter 48: Cigarette

Loren POV

“What are our chances of winning if he does have the Moonstone,” I asked. I hadn’t even considered the possibility that Amedis might be in possession of the moonstone.

“If our records of the moonstone are correct,” Zane began, “We’ll be in for a tough time. We’d have to separate him from the Moonstone if we’re going to have a chance, even with your powers. We might even need to destroy it; Ancient relics have a tendency to bond with their owners if possessed for too long.”

“That means that even taking it away from him won’t make him weaker in the slightest,” Sarrah added.

I glanced over at Alex. He had been searching for the Moonstone for the longest time, and now we were discussing destroying the very thing he wanted to protect the school in order to defeat Amedis.

His expression was stoic, but I could feel his emotions; his heart was sinking.

“If that is what needs to be done, then that is what we’ll do,” he said finally.
