The Alpha on Campus

“Do you want me to?” I asked her, my lips inches away. Her tank-top rode upwards, exposing the bare skin of her waist. She fluttered her eyes in appreciation for the attention I’d given her. She said that I was her first boyfriend, however, she masterfully knew how to tease me, moving her body in harmony with mine. “Please, Alex!” she exclaimed. I gladly obliged. — All Loren Ambrose wanted was to get a handle on her new magical identity at Silverstone University of Magicks, but her life was dramatically shifted after discovering that she was powerful enough to kill immortal beings. Chapter 21: The Ethereal Network

Alex POV

I watched Conner vigilantly as he connected various wires to the cylindrical rune inscribed pod. The pod was filled with glowing blue liquid that would allow for broader flow of mana. The entire setup looked like something out of a science fiction film rather than from a school of magic.

“Are you sure that this will work?” Riley asked, eyeing Conner suspiciously.

Riley had every right to be weary of Conner as he had garnered a reputation of causing chaos on campus grounds. Everyone knew that the only reason that Conner had not been expelled was because he was the grandson of Antheon Silverstone.

“Look, you’re an Alchemy major, right?” Conner said, “take a closer look at everything if you want, but I guarantee you’ll find that I know what I’m doing.”

Riley did not look convinced.

“But we’re talking about using alchemy to boost psionic abilities, this sounds very experimental,” Riley said.
