overall it is a good story for me. i've been a fan since the start and all of a sudden the author stopped updating. which frustrates me. another story without an ending. i guess that's what it is. there are good fanfics here which was left behind by the author and not informing their readers that they wont continue anymore.
I read this novel and royal road . This is a very nice story with actual world background and character development that most stories tend to overlook. Most of the time there are various plot holes that a Naruto story has but this fic has done a brilliant job covering them. Now , to the most important point . The MC is not an arrogant person. He is cautious , doesn't make bad decisions and still maintains a significant connection with the Hokage. The Gamer system is balanced ; not overpowered - not nerfed. Daichi's interactions with the main cast is very well done . They are not just some NPC's who do our man's bidding and ignore his accomplishments. All in all a very solid story.
What's there to not like about this fic. 1 - No Harem2 - The Gamer System3 - Hardworking MC4 - Smart MC5 - Characters aren't stupid to make mc look smart6 - Long Chapters7 - Consistent Updates8 - Author Knows what he is doing (he has a ending in his mind so it won't end poorly like other fics)9 - Did i mention No Romance Till now(i am at chapter 218)(ino has a crush on mc and that's it)10 - Doesn't have BS that we just have roll with
I don't usually like systems, but This story takes a cliche system and manages to make it work. The MC isn't weak, but also isn't annoyingly OP. His interaction with the main cast is also pretty unique. most Mc's who are born in Naruto's generation have really boring dialogue with the main cast, but the author manages to make it interesting. The story has compelling OC's that help expand on pre-existing characters. (IE: Kensei, Hiruzen, and Danzo's dynamic) It also starts a bit slow but picks up the pace after a while. The author manages to update pretty consistently. Minus a couple cases where he takes a day or two longer to update. The author has also managed to incorporate Daichi into the plot organically. Daichi also doesn't linger around the main cast too much. Which keeps the plot interesting, and unpredictable.
it is a great story and is one of the few naruto fanfics with the least number of plot holes I've read and has a lot of potential. If only the author didn't give him too many skills and then making it useless( eg plunder). My second problem is that the mc is too conservative trying to keep the plot as is. If the second problem was solved I would have given a rating of at least 4.5 🌟 ......so for now i will give a 3.9 rating
