Chapter 11

I was shaken awake by Amelia; she had a wide grin on her face the whole time. “Up, up, up. We need to get ready to go.” I sat up and rubbed my eyes as Mama brought in my dress. I took a deep breath as the white dress with lace details hung on the closet door in front of me.

“Are you ready?” I shrug.

“As ready as I can be.” They both nod and help me start working on my hair and everything else. The ceremony is in two hours, they let me sleep in, but I don’t remember coming back into my room last night. Noah must’ve brought me in here at some point. I smiled at the thought and took a deep breath as Amelia pulled some of my hair.

“Sorry.” I shook my head as she continued to work.
