Chapter 13: The Academy

(Riza) After stopping Lucian and Ignis, Lucian decided to tag along with me and Acacius, Acacius doesn't seem to mind. For 6 months we trained but I still can't get over my fear of Ignis and his family.

a small screech is heard over the speakers in the airship and an announcement is made "We're arriving at the academy", everyone rushes to the windows except for me and Acacius. He doesn't care for beautiful scenery or anyone on the ship.

Lucian had also rushed to the front to admire the view, I notice that he's looking at me but he quickly turns his head, I still haven't thanked him. I stand still with Acacius in the shadows. After a while of quick glances Lucian finally decided to approach me.

He's not confident but not extremely shy either, Lucian scratches his head nervously and says "You should have a look outside"

"why?" Riza replied coldly

Lucian lets off a little laugh and replies "Because It's beautiful???"

Riza walks to the window and looks at the academy, Its big, everywhere looks clean, its a beautiful city with a technological castle in the middle and giant walls with giant laser canons on it. "It's beautiful, its an entirely different world from the main city, but it's poisoned by corruption and greed. The main city is bad but it doesn't hide it, the academy only sets up for disappointment"

Oops I said that out loud, everyone looks at me with either anger or intrest. Lucian smiles at me wanting to say something but is interupted by the landing of the airship. We've made it, Acacius is still in the shadows and his eyes are purple, he must be thinking about something important.

The principal of the academy welcomes everyone and gives a motivation speech bore announcing "Everyone will now be ranked and given ID bands"
