Daughters

[3rd POV]

"It's time to return." Thanos said and used the space stone to create a portal led to his main ship, the Sanctuary II.

He did not know the exact location where his spaceship was in the vast cosmos, but he did not need to know.

Space knows.

He just had to tell his intentions and the portal opened, leading him to where he wanted. Thanos smiled seeing the blue fog around the portal pulsate with blue energy.

He looked to his side and saw Yao. He gestured at her to follow him and he walked through the portal.

The moment he came to the other side, he found a sharp dagger on his neck. Yao hid behind him as the portal closed.

The sharp edge of the dagger was planted on his neck with enough force to slice a man but it did not penetrate his skin. It couldn't.

"What kind of welcome is this, daughter?" Thanos asked calmly. His voice reverberated through the throne room they were in.

He looked at the green woman beside him who was holding a dagger to his throat. She was a beautiful woman with an exotic jade skin.

Her reddish brown hair looked perfect with her explosive curves. She had big perky breast but what was truly remarkable was her fat ass and perfect thighs.

"I thought we had intruders, apologies father." Gamora said while she withdrew her dagger and gave a curt bow.

Thanos looked around the dim throne room. It looked more like a cave than the inside of a spaceship. 

There was a huge platform at the centre of the room and an ominous throne on the top of the platform.

At the steps leading up to the throne, he saw another one of his daughters, Nebula. She was a cyborg who was more machine than she was flesh.

She had the perfect golden ratio of a woman. Her figure was crafted to be the perfect feminine form with a slender frame and the right amount of curves.

But as she had the perfect body shape, she could not compare to her sister when it came to sexual appeal.

Although that could be fixed if Thanos decide to install some sex robot parts on her.

She was looking at Thanos with hints of respect, devotion, and hatred. She stood up when he looked at her and gave him a bow of respect as well.

"You are here, Nebula. Good." He said, remembering his order to Ebondy to call Nebula and order her to come back from her mission with Ronan and to be in the Sanctuary before he finished with New York.

"And you?" He asked Gamora. He did not order her or notify her to be here.

So why was she here as well?

Gamora who was looking at Yao with scrutinizing eyes turned towards Thanos when he addressed her.

"I have come to inform you about my mission. I deeply apologize but I failed to locate the Soul Stone. The information given was too limited and I found no clue even after I searched through the galaxy." She said while kneeling down.

Nebula who was at a distance, sneered loudly at her sister's words. "You should've sent me father. I would not have failed you." 

Thanos put his hand up, gesturing Nebula to stop while he focused on the kneeling figure of Gamora. She was looking down on the ground seemingly in shame.

Yao observed all of this with interest. Noting that Thanos had already sent his subordinates out to search for the stones.

Thanos put his finger on Gamora's tiny jaw and made her look up at him. His eyes glowed purple and he stared straight into Gamora's eyes.

She trembled under the pressure of Thanos's gaze and although she was one of the most dangerous warriors in the galaxy, she submitted under the gaze of Thanos.

"Are you certain, daughter?" He asked. His voice held ancient wisdom that hints at hidden knowledge. 

And he did have hidden knowledge. He knew that Gamora was lying to him. He knew she found the soul stone but did not want to tell him.

"I-" Gamora could not even speak properly but at one point, her eyes hardened with determination, "I say nothing but the truth, father."

Thanos released her face and let her go. Gamora sighed as she felt the weight of a mountain off her shoulder.

"That's unfortunate." He said, acting as if he believed Gamora but in truth, he just did not want to press on the issue anymore.

He then grabbed Yao's shoulder and gave an order to Gamora, " This woman here is my guest. Lead her to the guest room and treat her well."

Gamora nodded at the order and soon, they both left the Throne room. Thanos walked with deliberate slow steps and made his way to the throne.

He sat on the throne made of stone and let out a sigh while resting on his back. Necula was observing all this from the step.

Thanos went into thought. During his time spent on the time prison, he had enough time to make different plans and perfect them.

Not only that, with the help of the mind stone, he was able to access the original Thanos's memories so he had the necessary knowledge to execute it as well.

Now that he was finally free, all he had to do was put those plans into action. He will speedrun the collection of the infinity stones and get back home soon.

Home.

Now that he thought about it, he did not know how to feel. He had forgotten the feeling of home. 

He had forgotten the feelings and love that drove him to pursue his goal in the first place.

He had lost a part of himself during that long time.

But he was still going to follow through with his plan. He was going to get home. He did not have the strong desire that he had before but he needed to do it.

It was the only purpose he had.

Maybe when he finally get back home, he would remember the feelings he had lost.

Quite a bit of time passed as Thanos played with those thoughts in his mind. To him, it was short because being in the time prison had messed up his sense of time.

But after a while, he spoke "Nebula."

The blue cyborg immediately kneeled in front of him like the loyal daughter that she was, "What is it father?"

"I have a mission for you."

"Anything for you Father."

Thanos smiled, seeing her. He was satisfied with how devoted she was, in this point in time at least.

"Go to the planet Morag." He spoke in a serious tone, "And retrieve the orb which contains the power stone for me."

Nebula trembled in excitement at the prospect of being given such an important mission. She had always wanted to be useful to her father and prove herself superior to her sister.

Because that was her purpose, that was all she knew. To be a useful tool to her father because what is more to life than that?

"I will not fail you like my sister, father."
