The Book From The Sky

Hello, my name is Soul. I was reincarnated into a world of magic. However, I can't use magic. So I am now living a life of a normal high school student. One day as I was walking home from school.

A book fell from the sky to the ground in front of me. Surprised I jump back. Without thinking much, I picked up the book. The book was thin and light.

The cover read "Spirit Sword Transformation", having no idea what it was, I start flipping through the book. What I didn't expect was the book was blank.

"Is this a prank?" I thought. However, the next moment the book caught fire. The flame was not hot, it was warm. The flame cover the whole book, but it didn't burn into ash, instead it became a ball of fire and flew toward me. Not expecting that, I stumbled back.

Before I can even react the ball of fire already flew into my consciousness. New knowledge flow into my head. The content of the book, I can clearly see and understand them.

"Spirit Sword Technique. Nine transformation, to cultivate this technique one must first cultivate a spirit form."

Thinking that far, that is exactly what he did. He went to a gang neighborhood and start picking fight with strong looking dudes. In the end he got a body full of wounds.

One of the police said, "Hey Jake, we have a problem! He is no longer breathing, his heart stop beating too."

Jake said while frowning, "This is bad, he is not dead right? We have to hurry up."

While the police are taking Soul physical body to the hospital. Soul was running around in his spirit form.

Soul laugh, "Hahaha, this feels great." His body was feel very light. The speed at which he travel is also very fast. Dashing faster than 20 meter per second. After a while he calmed down and began cultivating the Spirit Sword Transformation.

Something in the air gathered around him and strengthen his spirit form. As the spirit form look exactly like him he didn't feel strange as he stared into his reflection. The spirit form that was glowing and kind of transparent became solid.

Soul strength grew and his spirit was much stronger than when he first release it.

Then, it hit him. Soul suddenly remembered that his real body was still in a very bad condition. Although he left it with the police if something were to happen to it he would have remain like this. He dashed madly to where his real body was. He can feel a connection with his real body so he didn't have to worry about losing it.

It didn't take him long, only a few minute to get to the hospital. He quickly jump into the body and became one with his real body.

"The patient has regain heart beat and breath. He is alive!" One of the doctor said.

After talking for a while he found out what happen after the police found him.

So what Soul found out was, after he left his body, the police took his body the hospital and the doctor try to see if they can make him regain his heart beat and breath. After a while they succeed.

He lost too much blood and his body was riddle with bruise and injuries. He had to stay in the hospital.

It took him only a few hours to fully recovery. No one had found this strange. After all this was a world of magic. There was healing potion to speed up recovery.

Actually he was already fine when he went back into his body. Even if the police didn't send him to the hospital, as long as nothing happen to him he could go home and wait to be heal. After cultivating his spirit form, as long as he didn't die, his spirit power could heal him.

Soul dad called the hospital and let him know that he is coming to pick him up.

Soul dad soon arrive and they left after taking care of everything. "Soul, what were you thinking? You almost died! Never do that again, picking fights with gangsters? Focus on studies and get into a good college."

The thing is Soul did not interact much with his parent. He barely knew anything. The only time he would talk to them were on the weekend and sometimes when they were not busy.

For the next few days, Soul does his daily routine. Workout, go to school, and talk to friends. Just like any normal high school boy. His progress in the Spirit Sword Transformation is not bad. There is something call spirit pressure. It is divided into color. Light Blue, White, Light Red, Golden, Purple, Grey, Black, Green, Orange, Pink, Dark Blue, Dark Red, and Golden Purple.

To get his first release he must attain the white spirit pressure. After a week of hard work he was very close.
