Chapter 2 - Civilization

Somewhere In Ulgrasia Republic, In the entrance gate of a Town called 'Lithia', A certain dou of a boy an old woman was currently lined up in a long line of people.

These duo was of course Mana and Alexander who had a dumb smile plastered in his face as this was the first time he leave the Mountain, first time he had seen a civilization in seven years.

"Wow." He exclaimed and thought, 'That walls was so tall, is it really a Town? it should be a city right? with the sized alone the population should be about 400,000, and man look at those dwarves, the beast kins.. so otherworldly.'

"You haven't seen anything kid." Mana scoff amuse at the boy's enthusiasm.

1 Hour Later

The dou could now be seen Infront of a guard who had a pale faced and tired expression. Looking at dou before him the guard mumble something about 'here we go again' then tiredly explained: "Alright you knew the procedure. Pay 10 silver coins each then place you're hand on the crystal ball, ones you're identity is confirm you can enter the Town."

"Sure." Mana smirk then place her hand on the crystal ball and soon enough a series a data appear from a piece paper and much to my surprise.. It was wrong?

I was confused but decided to postpone it for later, soon after Mana confirm her identity its now my turn and ones again the Data that it showed was false.. again..

Passing through the gate, we soon find ourselves inside the Town and after walking away a bit from any guards, I finally asked her: "How's that possible?"

"Magic" Mana smirked and then shrug "that identification device is an outdated version. knowing its structure and functionality is easy as breathing with my skill 'Magic Analysis', then breaching it through magic isn't also difficult with my higher mental capacity. next after that is manually programming it to show whatever Identity I wanted."

"... Cool, can you teach me that?" I asked excitedly. what? that was an awesome technique and from what Mana told me, most cities and towns had higher level of security.. mastering such a technique was very beneficial for my future travel.

"Sure kid, I'll teach you ones we get back." Mana said with an amuse smile.

The dou soon find themselves In a restaurant, Mana being the host cried silently at the prizes of dishes in the menu but still comply as they were hungry from all the travels they've done.

Alexander on the other hand exclaim in surprise, even in his past life he had never eat such a delicacy such as these.. but then again its not that he could afford any, he's poor after all. most he could afford is fast food and even that was only once or twice a month if he was lucky.

"Sigh." He shook his head and ate silently and soon enough he was back to his happy go lucky self.
