Who is She?

"Take this bowl away and next time don't try to do anything without my permission." He told her in a sharp voice as he shot her a frosty glare.

"Sorry, young master." The maid shuddered slightly and immediately apologised.

Another woman came and took away the bowl. She placed a clean bowl in front of him. He took his food by himself. After that he went upstairs and walked straight into Luo Lixi's room.

Sheng Ruming went to the bedside. He stared at her as he had a calm expression on his face. He slowly walked beside her and kneeled down.

He clasped her right hand tightly. Now he could see her whenever he wanted. It was like a dream and nobody was there to interrupt. It was quite hard to imagine it two months ago.

"Lixi, you can hear me, can't you? Please wake up. I know you can feel me. Look, I'm holding your hand. Can you feel the warmth?" His voice was gentle and light as a feather. 

He really wanted to hug her in his embrace but couldn't. The scene was very depressing. Only her silence greeted him when he talked with the motionless woman in front of him. He did not get depressed and read the book beside her bed afterwards.

Sheng Ruming was a man countless women wished to marry. His status, background, wealth, personality... almost everything was good about him. His family was also very well respected in high society.

Sheng Ruming sat down on the floor and leaned at the side of her duvet. Suddenly he felt it was irritating. He didn't want to be reminded of her suffering every time his sight fell on her wrist. Thus he took out his phone and called Ji Yanli.

"Hey, Ruming. What's up?"

"I want to buy a bracelet for her. Get the best designs for me. It should be of top quality and as much as light. There shouldn't be another piece like that"

"..." 

Ji Yanli returned to the company earlier and went to work instantly. Many important paperwork were waiting for her to check them. She had worked very hard to finish countless matters and here he was...sigh!

Ji Yanli just listened silently.

"Also, buy some top quality clothes for her. Those which would suit her. You're good at shopping. Buy as much as you can and turn a whole room of the villa into a closet for her. "

"Hey, why don't I also buy some shoes for her? She will need them when she wakes up." she began to tease him but he didn't notice anything from her voice. He glanced at Luo Lixi and while twirling her locks of hair with his fingers, he answered.

"Okay."

"What about daily necessities like lotions, creams, face care products etc? She is a woman you know..."

"Okay." He answered right away as he planted a gentle kiss on Luo Lixi's cheek.

"What about bags, makeup, lipsticks,...?"

"Okay." 

she was speechless and hesitated to speak again, "Jewelleries...?"

"These things are expensive and you don't have much money…" He poked at her sour spot first by saying that. Ji Yanli touched her chest because of it and 5ook a deep breath.

"I'll send one of my cards to you, you can use it to buy those things for her." He added thoughtfully. She was just teasing him yet he agreed without any hesitation.

"Heh...hehe! Boss, can I ask you something?"

"Yes, you can." This time Sheng Ruming was staring at Luo Lixi's eyelashes and imagined what if she woke up suddenly.

"Who is she? I can tell, you definitely know her! What is her identity? Tell me. Hurry…" Even if she had some doubts she wanted to hear it from his mouth.

He didn't answer her immediately. "When the time is right, you'll know."

"Uh! Okay." Well, what could she say otherwise?! She was really curious about this woman who had popped out of nowhere. Their boss also seemed to have a thing for her. As a secretary, shouldn't she know everything about her boss?!

"Get everything done as soon as possible. You have work to do in the office too. Get it done quickly."

"Got it." She sat upright in her chair.

One of the office workers looked at Ji Yanli and asked, "Sister Yanli, was it the CEO?"

"You know, our CEO is very hardworking. He can't rest easy if any work remains unsolved. Earlier he called me and gave some instructions for a matter." There was mockery in her voice but the employee failed to detect it.

"You must be very busy then." She complimented her. 

"Not at all. Haha!" Ji Yanli waved her hand.

"Good luck!" The woman thought her behaviour was a little odd. 

"Thanks." Afterward, Ji Yanli focused on her work. There was a bitter smile on her face.

'Our CEO doesn't even fear that I won't be able to finish my work here and will bring the company's performance down. He's really busy. Huh! Whatever...' Ji Yanli thought while sulking inwardly. She immediately took the most important files from her desk and started to sort them out. 

After one hour, a person came to her with Sheng Ruming's shopping card and it was a limited addition that she wanted to get one for a long long time.

"..." When she looked at it she was shocked to death. 'He had it but I didn't know?!'

She stood up slowly and took it gently in her hand as if it was a treasure and stared at it for a while. She gave thanks to the person who brought it and wished him farewell.

She flung her hairs backwards, adjusted her dress, took her purse and started walking towards the door in her high heels.

"Miss Yanli, you have finished your work so early today?" A male worker asked her when he saw she was going outside.

"Yes" She nodded as she flashed him a stunning smile and went away.

The worker clutched his chest. It was such a heavy blow to him! He thought his heartbeat immediately rose up to a threatening rate.

She was beautiful and excellent in her profession. Many male workers had a crush on her. She was way better than them all.
