Back to the present (1)

It was now 2 years later and I had just completed my A-Levels. It was time to party wohoo, and my friends and I were planning a massive girls getaway. Getting my A-Levels done with all the stress they brought really got my mind off things which happened since 2 years ago, along with the help of my amazing friends my heart was soon settling down back to where it was before the whole fiasco happened. Thankfully, after getting the closure I needed, it was easier to forget about both boys and since I hadn't seen them since, life was smooth sailing. Anyways, back to the getaway we were planning, we worked our asses off these 2 years of A-Levels in order to save up enough money to do a tour of Asia, from the north where South Korea was, then to Japan and down to Hong Kong before leaving to my dad's hometown Hanoi and flying back home. We planned to spend most of our time in Hong Kong, since it had been our dream to fly there for a long time, for about 3 weeks whereas the other 3 places we were going to stay at were just a week long. It was enough to last us the entire holidays plus some extra with family at home.

Tomorrow was our trip to South Korea where we planned to stay, us 4 girls, at a hotel in Myeongdong, where we'd get the train to wherever we wanted to visit including one to see the imperial palaces and old towns of Seoul. Bursting with excitement and thrill, I packed my bags and, since it was summer, I threw in clothes I made especially for these holidays, plus some extra I bought these past few weeks online.

Yes, I had a great passion for sewing and opened my own little boutique online where I just sold part time to earn another small and passive income whilst studying and working extra hours.

I had a large appeal for v-neck clothing and satin fabrics so a lot of my clothing seemed over the top, but I didn't care because that's who I was and I loved it. The airport outfit was going to be simple, just a pair of mom jeans and a v-neck top I purchased online a few days ago, plus a pair of sock boot heels, which weren't exactly comfortable but they were sexy so I'm good with that.

We flew business class using points we saved up during these 2 years of flying across to family so it didn't cost us much extra than a normal plane ticket.

Arriving at Incheon Airport with my friends felt unreal, we had just turned 18 and our dreams had finally come true. We were not going to let this holiday go to waste, so to the hotel we went.

To our dismay, one of our friends, her name was Lislia, forgot to book a car for us to use during this week, which was literally her only job because now all the cars were booked due to high demand in summer holidays. We all sighed but knew that it wasn't a big deal since there was a lot of public transport we had available for us to use.

Easily, we figured out way out of the airport using the English directions we could find, and came to a main road where we stuck our hands out to hail a cab. Unfortunately though, we had no luck for about 30 minutes until a black bus stopped in front of us. Interested, I questioned some of the girls and found out that Lislia actually had a girlfriend out in Korea on a trip too with her group so she asked us to pick our group up. Thankfully the bus was big and the people were really nice. They were from different countries, in total there were 5 people including Lislias friend who was from Hong Kong. What a coincidence!

Not only that but she, Lexie, was actually going to Japan to visit her family for a week the same day we flew back out to Japan so we decided to stick together and have a large group holidays.

Time passed quickly, we went out, shopped, toured Seoul, parties and eventually became close knit friends with Lexies group. There were 2 boys and 3 girls, Max, Xiao Long, Lexie, Leslie and Emma. On our last day we decided to head out to a famous club in Seoul which was owned by Xiao Longs friends. I actually became good friends with him because we both were the same age, 18, had the same aspirations, go to university to study piloting, and we're going to Hong Kong shortly after arriving in Japan. We talked a lot, every night, about small things, family etc and then he told us we could crash at his and his friends place in Hong Kong to save us the payments of the hotels. At first I declined because I didn't want us to become his burden but as he insisted, I complied.

That night before arriving to the club, I put on my best outfit which was just a red rouged dress and a pair of slinky black heels, I tied up my hair and we went out in the limo. Today, Xiao Longs friend arrived from Hong Kong on business related issues so he agreed to meet us at the club.

My girls and I looked snatched, if I do say so myself, and we were ready to party. When we arrived at the club, I noticed Xiao Long look at me and smile, to which I returned equally, since he did look dashing in the jeans and shirt. He and his friends took us straight inside to skip the queue where we were confronted with a large, open dance floor with silver chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and silver pillars in each corner of the club. The club was floor to ceiling and to the right there was the staircases to the different floors of private rooms.

The club was bright and loud crowded with people dancing and with the DJ at the front of the club. Xiao Long led us to the 2nd level where his friend had booked us a private room to chill and eat with air con and quieter music, which I preferred over the havoc downstairs. The food on the table was delicious, a mix of traditional Korean dishes, snacks, alcoholic drinks etc. We just ate and drank, danced and sang at the ground floor, mingled with the clubbers and had the time of our lives. We took pictures, video, laughed and cried, literally everything in the span of 4 hours. It was around 3am now and Xiao Long mentioned that his friend was going to meet us here briefly to talk to him about business so my friends and I took this chance to meet his so called "god" of a friend.

We ditched the heels once and for all and ran back upstairs to get a glass of water.

I opened the door and ran in until I saw who was sitting in front of me. I dropped the shoes in my hand.
