CHAPTER 8: KNOWING EACH OTHER

Only the two of them were alone inside the classroom. Still, they do not know what to say. Rhianna's heartbeat became abnormal all of the sudden.

'What the heck…?' she thought.

Ocean Huang spoke to her first. "Ehmm, by the way, I will properly introduce myself to you. Even though, you were staring at me on that day. I will forgive you. I am Ocean Huang." He smiled leaned his hands to Rhianna.

Rhianna's face turned like a tomato after she heard his introduction. "Mmm, I am Rhianna Park from Q City."

"It is awkward, isn't it? However, let us forget about the past okay. Let us start to feel comfortable with each other. We will be seatmate until our graduation. Is that okay with you? Are you still not comfortable right now?"

Rhianna nodded then she agrees. "Right, amm… sorry about that day it was not intentional actually. I was distracted with noises around me that day. I shouldn't have done that weirdness to you." She was a little bit at ease talking to him.

"Apology accepted. So, we are okay now right!" Ocean asked.

She made thumbs up sign for acknowledgement. "Well then, what should we do now?"

"I think we need to go to the field downstairs and find our own spot so that we can know a little bit with each other."

They were both stood up. Carrying their own bag with them. They passed by the Section Silver, Alexa saw Ocean and Rhianna were walking together at the hallway. Her eyebrows raised in anger.

'Why are they together?'

Rose and Mitch saw them too. They turned to Alexa like they were asking, 'What's going on?'

Ocean and Rhianna's shadows were nowhere be seen but Alexa still could not help but feel annoyed.

They saw their friends and other classmates around the area. They decided to go far away from them because they might not do their assignment well.

Walking and talking until they found the right place for them to settle. Their spot was near the gym building. There was a tree underneath some beach. It was totally a place to know exactly what they want to achieve.

Seriously, Ocean Huang asked Rhianna personal questions. "Why are you working on a weekend?"

Rhianna was shocked. "H-how did you know that I was working?"

He smiled. "Well, I saw you in Coffee Angels uptown one time and wearing the same uniform like them."

She smirked then speaks honestly. "I just want to earn and learn something for myself."

Ocean Huang glanced at her with admiration. "Then why is it only on weekend? Sorry to ask so many questions."

She smiled again showing her white teeth. "That's okay. This is what our teacher told us to know each other's company." She saw Ocean smiled back. "Well, I just want to balance my time with work and school. I do not want my job will affect my grades so I work there as a part time only for the meantime."

The two of them stayed quietly for a second. Ocean's thought were lingering somewhere else. It seems that he was admiring this girl beside him with higher hopes in the future. She really deserved to be in top just like him.

He is also having a big dream after high school. He wants to go abroad for college. Learning in advice from the other country is very rare opportunity for him.

Rhianna slightly glimpse at Ocean who was quiet for a moment. She does not know what he was thinking. She was shy enough to interrupt him for a while. She just stayed mute for a minute before she could hear Ocean was coughing.

"Hail for the princess." He suddenly said that. Ocean has been thinking she was daydreaming.

"What! Hahaha… I thought it was you. You suddenly keep your mouth shut so I was wondering you had something in mind and I was afraid to disturb you."

They were both laughing. Ocean liked the way Rhianna laughed that moment. Her eyes became so small. He found her that cute.

Henna Wu and Jenson Lee were sitting at the bench not far from Sophie and Henley. She known Jenson for quite longer since the day they became friends with her twin brother.

They were never getting the chance to be alone. This is the first time they pair in this activity. She is very shy on how she will open up to him. Jenson Lee made a move to talk to Henna first.

"Enna, what do you usually do when you were alone in your room?" He faced her in a cutie looks.

Henna blushed when Jenson do that. She might not hide her feelings towards him.

*coughing*

"I usually do during my free time cross stitching and listening to music as well. How about you when you were not with my brother and Ocean?"

Jenson suddenly touched her forehead when he noticed the redness of her face.

"Why is it your face so red? Are you not feeling well?"

Henna's face turned even redder when he touched it. "No." she exclaimed. "Do not mind my face it's just so hot in here. Just answer my question, okay?" Henna was trying to ignore him.

Deep inside her heart were trembling like a drum. 'Oh my God, this is insane. Why do I have to pair with him?'

Jenson was still looking at her like a gum. His ridiculous deep eyes that can melt you. Henna was troubled in that position. She stood up. "I think I need to drink some water. Be right back." She ran away and headed to the bending machine not far from their spot.

She likes Jenson since they were freshmen. Every time he went to their house, she just hides to her room but secretly looking at her window. She can see them playing basketball in the yard.

She kept in to herself because she does not want her brother knows her feeling towards his friend.

She also likes Ocean but as a brother only. She did not expect that she would fall something for Jenson. She did not realize how long she was standing in front of the bending machine.

She was about to get her bottled water when someone pick it up for her. 'Jenson'

Jenson gave her the bottled water. "What took you so long? Are you sick?" he asked.

"No, no, no. I am fine. Let's go back. We need to finish this thing. We might get low grades in this activity." She rushed back but then Jenson held her hand.

"I need to buy some foods for you. You look pale. Maybe you are hungry." He said in concern.

Henna quickly denied. "No, I am not hungry. Let's …" She did not finish her words.

"Meet you there in our spot. I will be right back." He said as he was running towards the cafeteria.

Henna never realized just how bad it looks like in front of him. She will discover her feelings towards him if she keeps doing it. He might not be going to her house if he knew.

'Henna, you have to act normal okay. Just act normal.'

Jenson bought some healthy foods and junk foods too. He was fond of Henna since he was always been to their house most of the time. He was happy that they got the chance to know each other in the activity that their homeroom teacher gave them. This is his chance to do so.

For being his brother's friend, he does not know her well never get the chance. She always stays in her room most of the time he will visits her twin brother.

Jenson was far away from the spot where Henna was sitting. Her long black hair swayed because of the wind. He stopped and stared at her for a little while.

She was busy clicking on her phone. He suddenly took out his phone from his pocket. He clicked the camera then focus on Henna. One, two, three shots what he did. Then he put it back the phone to his pocket and goes straight to her.
