CHAPTER 7: RANK ON TOP

Jenson Lee was the last who came in. He parked his car next to Ocean. Students were rushing fast to the Bulletin Board to see their ranks.

He can see the outcome already that his friend Ocean will always be on top to all of them. However, he caught something that he did not imagine.

He congratulated Ocean in a loud voice that can hear across the hallway. "Bro, congratulations you are truly amazing." He walked closer to him and sat at his own seat. "Hey, the new student from Q City is quite secretive too. I saw your ranked it just 1 point apart from you."

Ocean did not react. He restrained himself and pretending to ignore him.

While Alexa heard everything, what Jenson said made her blood boiled. 'The nerdy girl really is something. She did not even rank at top 30 levels. That stupid girl even got to level up with Ocean.'

Their topic was all about Rhianna is being the second top with 1 point than less to Ocean. She knew that it would be like this that is why she did it on purpose. Nevertheless, she did not expect that it would be 1 point apart. While the next to her the top three were very far from them.

This is great. Well, she should not do it on purpose. It should be unfair to her if she will pretend to be dump that is not in real life. College thing is important to her to achieve whatever she does in the future.

Section Silver:

School bell rings. Their homeroom teacher Ms. Tan came in and told them the changes for the Senior High section.

"Okay, listen up boys and girls. Once, I call your name you bring all your things and come forward." She commanded.

Each of the students looked at one another. Out of curiosity, what their teacher trying to do to them. No one speak to ask but wait patiently. She quickly was calling names one by one.

"Ocean Huang, Jenson Lee, Henley Wu,"

Their teacher stopped, there were 15 students has been called in front.

Alexa Wang and her friends were not one of them. She raised her hand and asked their teacher.

"Ms. Tan what about me? Why my name you did not even mention?" She asked.

"Okay, those names did not call stay as where you are and be quiet. And those were beside me, come follow me." She told them.

Students were murmuring. All of them were saying, 'What is going on?'

Alexa Wang clenched her fist, seeing Ocean Huang is one of them.

'Stupid teacher', she thought.

Ms. Tan starts stepping out of the classroom, Ocean Huang and his classmates followed her lead. They ended up in front of the Section Gold. Even the other section did the same as them.

Ocean Huang suddenly got the idea what is going on right now. He did not think that this was going to happen to him. He will see Rhianna up close every day. He smirked while they started walking in and some of the Section Gold before started walking out.

On the other hand, Rhianna jumped of nervousness. She saw some students stepped inside their room. One of them was Ocean Huang.

'Omg! Is this real?' Her mind was talking and talking and talking.

She closed her eyes then shook her head, 'This is not real, this is not real, and this is not real.'

She slowly opened her eyes once again then looked in front. 'Omg! Omg! Omg! I am not in dreams.'

Sophie Liu was observing Rhianna as soon as the other Section Silver came in to their classroom. She was also shocked as they entered the room.

Ocean Huang and his friends were transferred to their section. She turned her attention to Rhianna. She was almost burst to laugh when she saw her reaction but she controls not to tease her. Only the two of them knew why.

Each table consist of two students whomever their seatmate. They will have new sitting arrangement until they graduate. There were three columns in a room and five rows in each column.

The homeroom teacher in Section Gold Ms. Xi asked them to stand up then stay at the back. She instructed them to pick one paper in a bowl. "After you pick, you go sit on your designated number seats okay. You may start now."

Everyone in the room were busy finding their seats. Henley Wu and Sophie Liu were at the last column near the window, second to the last row at the back. While Henna Wu and Jenson Lee were at the center column, last row table. When Ocean Huang picked the paper, he saw his number. It is No. 30 so he is sitting at the last row.

He was about to put his bag on the table when he turned his eyes at the girl on his right side standing beside him. It was Rhianna Park.

Rhianna Park could not believe what just happen. When she saw whom the person, she was sharing a table until graduation. It is Ocean Huang.

Everyone remained in his or her seats. The seats already occupied and started making new friends. Henley Wu started introducing himself to Sophie though, they already knew each other through Henna. But he does not know all about her.

Sophie makes new friend with Henna's twin brother. She thinks that her brother was not bad at all. It seems that they have same interest and found him quite interesting too.

However, the last table was not at ease. Both of them did not make any noisy, they keep their mouth shut. Both, do not know what to say or even think how to begin their conversations.

Rhianna did not want to talk first; it is too awkward when she thought about the last time they encounter. She felt really embarrassed thinking about it every time she saw Ocean Huang.

Henna Wu seated at the right side of her. She is at the last row in the center column with Jenson Lee.

"Rhianna, our tables were just next to each other and I am grateful that we still this close seats." She proudly says to her.

She smiled shyly. Their homeroom teacher Ms. Xi spoke, "Since not all of you were familiar with your seatmate. I want to give you some exercises in order to know each other. So, go outside this classroom and find a place only inside the school premises. You have to know some personality you found with your seatmate in short time conversations."

Each student was noisy as their teacher gave them some assignment.

"Furthermore, you need to write it in your notebook and I will collect them all by tomorrow morning. Knowing each other is the beginning how you will become closer. That will be the activity for this day. By tomorrow, there will be some announcement since the Foundation Day is nearly approaching. So, you may proceed now and do your assignment." Ms. Xi waved to them as she exits the room.

Rhianna was dumbfounded with what she heard to her teacher. 'This is bad. Why it should be that way?' Silently thought while preparing to put all her things inside her bag.

Ocean did the same too putting his entire notebook back to his bag. He took a deep breath before he will say first to Rhianna.

Both of them talked that the same time. "Mm... I" Then they were staring at each other's eyes. It cut off when Henley suddenly turn and told them.

"Guys, we will go to the field. Are you joining us?" He asked.

Rhianna looked at Sophie then Henley. Ocean spoke for both of them. "Okay go ahead and find your spot there and we will discuss first later where to go."

Henley turned his head to Sophie. "Okay, we will be going now."

"Rhianna, we will see you downstairs okay." Sophie winked at Rhianna then called Henna too.

"Hey, see you guys later." Henna tapped Rhianna shoulder.

Jenson Lee said the same to Ocean.
