CHAPTER 16: I LIKE YOU

Back to the regular life being a student. That morning, Rhianna got up early she planned for a walk to go to school. She knew the shortcut route from her house to her school. That is the advantage thing her house location is.

Walking early morning is part of her exercises. It has been a while doing that because of her busy schedules school and work.

She arrived early in the school premises. Alexa blocked her way as she was about to go upstairs. Rhianna tried as much as she could to ignore the immature Alexa but Alexa still did not move away.

"Do you need something from me?" Rhianna calmly asked.

Looking at Rhianna's expression, Alexa got irritated, "You think that you are higher than me. Just because you became so popular in this school. You are just a stupid bitch from Q City. You are still nothing, comparing to me."

Rhianna smirked. "You know what, you just cannot accept the fact you are a loser. Where is your sportsmanship? Move on girl, our life is not always like this. Think about your future than to stick something that already end."

Alexa clenched her fists with anger. "Who do you think you are to lecture me with my future?" she shouted.

Some students were turn their heads when Alexa's voice was raised. Slowly, they were curious what is going on. They were whispering that Alexa could hear them.

'Alexa still cannot move on with her loses during the swimming competition'

'No wonder, she thinks of herself that she was only the best in this school. Tsk, tsk, tsk it was good that Rhianna won.'

'Yeah, Rhianna really humble person. She did not put in her head, her achievements. She is even top 2.'

'Alexa is the worst. She is not even on top 10 levels.'

So much for the students around them was talking. Alexa really got negative comments because of Rhianna.

She looked at Rhianna with the madness in her eyes, "We are not done yet." She walked away fast.

'What an irritating brat!' Rhianna thought. She continued walked towards the stairs to her classroom.

Five of her classmates arrived earlier. "Good morning!" Rhianna greeted them as always.

'Good morning'

'Good morning'

She bends down her head on the table as soon as she sat down. She closed her eyes while waiting for the gang to come.

Ocean was the first to arrive before their other friends. He woke up very early too. He rushed to the school once he finished everything. He was sitting at his car in the parking lot and did not come out. He was waiting for someone.

Then he saw Rhianna when she arrived at the gate. His guessed that she walked again from her house to the school.

Well, it is part of her routine to exercise if she had time to do so. He wanted to reach her but he controls himself. She might discover his hidden feelings. He tried to ignore it at first. That he just fond of her as a friend but things have been changed.

The more they stick together, the more his feelings became stronger. He waited for a little while before he left from his car.

Ocean goes straight to his table as soon as he reached their classroom. He saw Rhianna laying her head on their table. He walks towards her quietly without making any noise to disturb her. He succeeded his actions; he did not make any fuss.

Rhianna's head faces to her left side sleeping. Ocean did the same too, laying his head and face Rhianna a little farther. He studied her face for a long time. He wished to take out those stupid eyeglasses in her. He looked at his wristwatch, their classmates with be here around 30 minutes. He still has the time to stare at her longer.

Ocean grabbed the opportunity to do that while admiring her cute face, her eyes, her nose and her lips. Yes, her lips, he already tasted it. He wanted to taste it more. He focused on her lips as he swallowed hard with his Adam's apple moving.

Rhianna felt that someone was staring at her. She opened her eyes little by little. She saw Ocean doing the same posture like her.

Ocean smiled as soon as Rhianna's eyes slowly open. "Good morning, sleepyhead."

Her heart seems abnormal again. Togs…tog…tog...

Rhianna did not move, just stare back at him but slightly smile back and close her eyes again. "You, stop staring at me like that. You are making me feel uneasy."

"I am not staring at you. Just a little bit glance." Ocean explained but his smiled widen. "You sleep like a pig." Then he touched the tip of her nose.

Rhianna opened her eyes. "You…, you…" She could not finish her sentence because his face was so cute when smiling that makes her heart so uneasy. Their faces were just a few inches away from each other.

Ocean stopped smiling. After some time, they just were staring at each other without any words to say. Their heartbeats were gone wild. Rhianna immediately close her eyes. She feel embarrassed that her red cheeks shown at that moment. She turned her head to the other side so that he will not see how shy she was.

Ocean controlled his laughter as she saw Rhianna's face turned into a colored Santa's outfit so red. He suddenly whispered, 'I like you'.

Rhianna heard something weird; she quickly turned her head back to face Ocean. "What did you just say?"

Ocean became aware about the word he whispered. Luckily, it was just a whisper but he thinks Rhianna heard it. "What! I did not say anything." He denied covering up his feelings. He almost lost his self-control all of the sudden.

Neither Rhianna thought, maybe she heard by mistake nor she just imagining things because of what she feels for him.

Later by that, Henley, Henna and Sophie came in together. Henley saw the two laying their head on their table. With the naughty thought, he slowly reached his table and slamming his bag with a loud bang.

Not only Rhianna and Ocean were surprise even their other classmates who were there. Ocean frowned at him as he saw Henley was laughing. "What the hell are you doing, man?"

Jenson who just arrived after, were wonder. "W-why? What's the matter?" He was looking at Ocean who was agitated.

Henna explained to Jenson what Henley did.

Rhianna suddenly laughing so loud and the rest did the same. Ocean did not say only one word to Henley. "Stupid"

Henley's joyful expression was still obviously teasing. "I am so sorry buddy; you and Rhianna was so serious when I both saw you talking. What did you talk anyway?"

"It was nothing. Ocean was calling me sleepyhead." Rhianna answered Henley fast. "He found me sleeping on our desk that's all."

Ocean did not make a sound; he just listened to what Rhianna told to their friends. She just let her do the talking so that it will not put another meaning to their friends.
