CHAPTER 62

Asher turn off the ignition as soon as he arrived at Owen's mansion.

"Where did you go to this morning?".

"What?".He cocked his brows."Did you miss me that much".He teased.

"Ofcourse I missed you a lot & I need to know where you go so girls don't crowd around you, am a jealous girlfriend".Her words brought a smile to his lips.

"Alright".He kissed her forehead. "I met with Aiden,he said he likes Alexia,I should forgive her which I already did & she's already over me".He pauses and sigh."I don't want to let you go,babe".Trina chuckled.

"Then how will I go in?".

"Why do you've to move back in,just stay at my house,humph!".He puffed.

Trina laughed at his childishness.

"Cause I had to take back what belong to me,am not gonna run away ".She assured him.

Asher ignored her and snort."Ok!I got to go,bye".She opened the door to step out but was pulled back into Asher's arms."Hey!stop it,your killing me"

"Stop running, you dummy".He hugged her tightly,sniffing the sweet fragrance of her hair."Let me take in your scent".She scoffs.

"You'll get tired as soon as you graduate from college and leave me all alone in that damn school" .She looked up at him."In two years time i'll finish and work at your company".

Asher laughed and patted her head."I doubt you would with that dumb brain of yours-".

"Hey!".She popped him on the nose."You suppose to encourage me instead of insulting"He got an harumph from her." You're such a waste of boyfriend".She pulled away and grab her bag."See you later-".

"No goodbye kiss?".She glared at him.

"For a guy who wants his girlfriend to not excel ,No sir no.....".Her voice trail into silence as he pulled her by the waist and pressed his lips against her.

He pulled away and caresses her lips."I love you,Trina".

"Not as much as I do-".

"I love you more and more and more and more" .

"Whatever you win".She giggle."Bye".She stole a kiss from him and dash out.

"Pervert".He yelled at her.

By the time Trina reaches her mansion the smile on her face washed off on seeing Vera. "What are you doing here?".She spoke hoarsely,not trying to hide the deep hatred she had for Vera.

"I can't pay my little cousin a visit".She said looking around."You guys didn't waste time in renovating the house huh?".

"Yeah,we couldn't wait one second to get rid of your stinky scents. What do you want?",

"To talk,I need to talk to you and aunt,is this how you welcome your guest without any drink?.You".She pointed at a maid who was just passing by."Get me three glass of fruit juice".The maid nods and ran off.

"So how you enjoying your little house?".Trina teased earning a glare from Vera."Only if gaze could kill" .

"Ma'am here is the juice".The maid dropped it and left.

The doorbell suddenly rings,Trina stood up and head for the door."You should get more maids,Trina" .Vera advised,then looked back and font.'No body'.

She pulled out a bottle and poured it into two glass of juice and twirl it.

"Vera!!!!!".Alexia strode toward her. "You did it right?You lying piece of crap?".

"Please excuse me do I know you by any chance?".Vera feign that she didn't know any body named Alexandra.

"Here Trina".Vera stretch out her hand to hand a poison drink to Trina when Alexia took it instead and smashed it on the floor.

"What is happening here!!".Avery ran down the stairs."Alexia, Vera?what are you two doing here,Vera?".

"To talk,Aunt but this lady here just barge in and threw my drink-".

"Just tell them the truth,that you poisoned it-".

"POISONED!".Trina and Avery both chorused.

Vera snorts."How did you possibly know that if we have never met before or maybe is that your plan to frame me instead,huh!".

Avery ignored her words."Vera is this true?".

She asked without a hint of sarcasm.

Vera picked up the unpoison drink and drank it all.

"Look Aunt, I drank it and nothing happened, why don't she drink it instead".Vera suggested,secretly smiling at Alexia.

Alexia knew the last of it was actually poisoned.

She shook her head."Am not gonna drink it".She said.

Avery brows creases."Alexia, did you really poison us that's why you refuses to drink it".She asked Softly.

"Avery I can't stoop that low to do that-".

"Then drink it ,Miss Alexia".Vera emphasize her name to infuriate her.

Alexia look back at Trina who gave her a skeptical looks."You don't believe right?".She questioned.

"I..I don't know anymore Alexia. ...after what you have done and try to do,I don't know anymore but all I know is that you shouldn't drink it.Let's settle this at the station".Trina didn't trust Vera that much too.

Vera who just came out of the blue to talk to her,she finds it a little suspicious.

Alexia didn't mind Trina not trusting her after all she had done.All her life no one trust her,cared for her, befriended her,looked up to her only one person did and she let her down,she also let Gowon,Asher,Avery,Aiden especially Kyle down,she was the cause of his death.

All the people who showed love to her,she all let them down.Even her parent didn't care for her,she didn't know where they wandered off too or if there actually gone.

The truth was that she often drive the people that care for them away by her hands.

'Why does the Knight insist on staying beside the evil princess side?'.There could be no answer to that,the only answer was to kill the evil princess cause all evil things deserve to die.

She grab the glass and gulp it down at once.

"ALEXIA! !".Trina and Avery yelled.

Instantly,Alexia collapses on the floor.

"Alexia".Trina broke into a sob staring at her paled face."Mom!call the ambulance. NOW!!".She roared."Why Alexia?Why?".Trina buried her face in her hair.

Alexia wanted to talk but she couldn't, she guess it was the poison working.

"She indeed poison you guys".She heard Vera say.

It dawned on Alexia that Vera had planned it all,she knew she would reject the offer,she knew she was going to run after her to stop her then she would pass the blame to her.The plan was not to poison Trina or Avery,it was to take her down.

And she really accomplished it by outsmarting her.
