CHAPTER 51

Katrina couldn't believe the girl she had come to love as a sister was her rival,who was so much in love with her boyfriend and to top it all,they're engaged.

"T...Trina,what are you doing here?".She heard Alexia (Alexandra) asked surprised. "You know.....".Her voice trails off when her gaze fell on Trina's hand which was held by Asher,her Asher,the boy she had loved since day one.

After her attempt to commit suicide and instead Asher bestfriend Kyle took the fall instead of her since then Asher had hated her wholeheartedly.

She had left the city after getting engaged to him so he could cool off but she never knew when she returned he would still hate her and fall for Trina,her first friend since ages.

She shifted her gaze back to Trina."A...why..why you guys holding hands?".

"Isn't it obvious their in love and are dating?".Selena was the one to snap at her.

"Trina how could you!".Alexia glared at Trina,ignoring Selena's comment. "You knew how much I told you about the man I loved yet you're dating him,you traitor!".

"I can explain, Alexandra".Trina took a step forward. "I never knew it was Asher-".

"Now you know,stay away from him!".Asher dismissed her statement with an incredulous scoffs.

"You've no right to demand that from her,we are in love Alexia, get that into your head....I don't love you-".

"No".She shook her head."No!you love me cause am your Fiancee,am your fiancee!".

"Did I ever agree to be yours?".He questioned.".What makes you think I can trust you after you cheated on me with my friend, so who would be next?my dad!"

"Asher....your words are too harsh-"

"Harsh?Harsh!".Cynthia chimed in."Harsh is when you cheated on your so called boyfriend and then kill his friends!do you think I would accept you as my family again".She scoffed."Then you must be out of your mind".She spat.

Kim comfortably sat down,leg crossed as he sips his drink watching the drama in front of him.

Alexia glares at Trina."Is all your fault,Asher hates me...are you truly my friend,how could you do this to me!!".She huffs.

"I did nothing, Alexandra and I can't break up with Asher cause I love him so much,regardless you're my friend I won't give up Asher for you,I'll fight you every step of the way".

"I'll fight for him cause his mine".Alexia says.

"Your mistaken Alexia, am not yours. After you killed Kyle,tricked me on making you my fiancee and now telling my babe to back down then you must be sick in your Fucking brain!!!".He yells.

Tears slips out from her right eyes."Asher it's in the past"She held him hand.

"And you're in my damn past".He shoved her to the floor and storm off with Trina.

"Asher!".She cried harder.

"Stay away from us especially Trina if not i'll make your life a living hell".Cynthia scowl and storm off with Selena.

"Get up darling, this isn't over".He helped her up."You won't let Trina win....i know the perfect person to help you weaken Trina".

He smiled devilishly.

Asher decided to walk to Trina's house without his car so they could clear their mind especially hers.

He watched her carefully,her every reaction and facial expression.

He knew she was having a tough time swallowing what had happened a few hours ago.

"She's her right?".Trina gave a slight nod.

"Why do you hate her that much?".He heard her ask.

"You know why?".

"She didn't mean to Asher,she's good,caring, wise, she's absolutely great, she's hurting Asher,you shouldn't be hard on her".

"Have forgiven her ,if I treat her nicely, she wouldn't think of letting me go"".He stops as Trina whirl back at him with her brows raised up in question.

Instantly his arms wrapped around her as she inhale his freshly scent of cologne. He place his head on her shoulder. "Don't let me go,please".He begged.

"How could i" .She patted his back."When am so much in love with you".She shut her eyes and smoothen his hair.

After talking to Kim,Alexia went home.

She walked into her mansion as the butler stood before her and bow.

"Welcome back Young Miss".He took off her coat and bag and handed it to the maid beside him.

"Are my parent coming to visit me?".She asked,taking off her boot replacing them with a comfortable slippers.

"They couldn't come for thanksgiving cause they're very busy".

"Of course,Alexandra....what do you really expect".She deadpanned.

"But they send some letters-".

"Burn it all".She interrupts and ran off tearfully and slam the door shut and collapsed on her bed and grab the nearest softest thing next to her and bang her head on it,breaking into a sob.

This wasn't the first time her parent dumped her for work,she was used to the loneliness but now it hurts so much cause her mother wasn't here to comfort her not like she ever does that but that's was the role of mothers,to share secret, hang out,go shopping but she had never expressed such thing until she met Avery,she felt loved by her,Trina and Gowon, she was overwhelmed with great happiness whenever she sees them,spend time with them but the feeling dies off tonight when she found out her beloved Friend was Asher's girlfriend, the man she had always loved,uptil now,who loved her without no doubt but now he hates her cause it was her very fault he died.

Soon she fell into a deep sleep.
