Trina took off her shoe as soon as she walks into her apartment.

She took her phone and stared at Asher and her picture beaming with smile. She sank into her bed and sigh clenching the phone to her chest.

"Do I really like him?".

*NEXT DAY*

Reuben hop out of his car and stared at his phone wondering why Linda wasn't picking up.

His attention averted to Madison who walked into the school with Ted.

Lately he has been seeing her with that nerd boy ,everywhere she went he often follows. He felt an unknown emotion that ran through his body on seeing how close she was with him.

'What does it matter'Before he knew it he heard himself calling her name as he ran to catch up.

"Hey Madison".

"What happened?".She snaps.

"What happened? Why didn't I see your fat ass after school ? It looks like you want to be send out of this school".He said furiously.

Madison folds her hand underneath her breast.

"And how is that your business?do you think am a dimwit?the only reason am here because I was forced to be here I never wanted to go to college ,I intentionally wrote the wrong answer but the devil got me here and the devil's know why...I don't need your assistance anymore Reuben Elvis".He heard her say.

'Why does it sting to hear her say such'.He always wanted to get rid of her but now he doesn't.

"We need to talk"He held her wrist but jerk as his body vibrant under her touch.

"She doesn't wish to talk to you!".Ted snaps.

"Mind your business you nerd!".Reuben fired back.

'What was his problem? He had never been this angry or possessive towards anyone even Linda but why her?'.

"His not a nerd!His an artist" .He heard Madison say.

He ran his hand through his hair in frustration. "What's going on between you two?".Those words escapes from his lips before he knew it.

"What do you think that will possibly go on".Madison said giving him a charming dimpled smile that set his heart on fire.

"Reuben!!!!".Linda called and ran towards him ,planting a kiss on his lips.

Madison balled her fist in rage as she glare at them.The trick had work cause Reuben was jealous but now Linda was here.The girl he could only love.

"Let's go".She whispered. Ted place his arms round her shoulder and led her towards Trina who was waving at them happily.

Reuben stared at Madison sadly. He wanted to be with her and at the same time be with Linda.

"What happen to your head?".He asked not breaking his gaze from Madison. Linda glare at him.

"Why you staring at that fat ass pig-".

"Don't you dare call her that!am the only one to call her that ".

"You don't care for me".She lowered her lashes to her cheek and then look up at him with tears in eyes.

"Care?What about me?do you even care for me?you haven't even pick my call, I went to your house and I heard you were at someone else house.What are you hiding ??".He yelled as she broke into a fake sob.

Not caring to look back Reuben walk off.

Vera watched as Trina hugs Madison and Ted, Madison said something funny which made them laugh.

Vera glare at her,wondering why she was always cheerful after she had stolen the two people that matters to her.

Ever since her little cousin was born she was always jealous of her,her beauty, the attention she got from people and her family. Even her dad loved her more. All she wished for him not to come back and figure out what her and her mother had done to his brother's daughter.

"Vera!".Jodi and Layla called and ran towards her.

"What?".She snaps as Jodi handed her phone to her.

"Take a look".Vera's throat went tight,anger and jealousy stinging like pepper as she saw the picture of Trina in an expensive elegant dress even her couldn't afford. "This dress is worth a million".

"That isn't all".Layla scroll to the next.

Vera eyes widens in shock.This time around it was a picture of her and Asher.They were so close that one could think they were couples in love."It looks like Trina wanted to steal a kiss from him Prince Asher . That cousin of yours is so Shameless ".Jodi tilts her head to a side."I think Asher bought it for her'.

"I won't let her take what belong me".Vera declared and storm into her class.

She made her way towards Asher and sat down.

"Wow!Vera you look great today...your boyfriend is gonna drop dead soon".He teased as her heart was filled with butterflies.

"Thanks...you don't look bad yourself".

"I know right" .He smiled and picked up his phone.He was contemplating whether to text Trina since he hadn't seen her today.He was now so fond of her that he often sees her every morning.He decided to text her.

'Hi'.He texted.

The Professor walks in and started teaching without hesisting. Asher wasn't focused on his teaching instead he was waiting for her text anxiously.

Meanwhile Vera could see how restless he was after he picked him phone and texted.Every seconds he checks his phone expecting something. Suddenly his phone made a quick notification. Without hesisting he pick it up as his eyes lits up merrily.

"Hey!".

"What you doing?".He texted.

"What the heck would I be doing?studying ofcourse that's if you let me...Mr mentor".She commented. Asher suppress his laughter.

"Dummy! I just wanted to ask you how many likes on our picture?".

"Nine thousand because of you..am sure of it,you have a lot of crazy fans. Am so jealous".She replied.

He laugh.

"My fans are the jealous ones because you looked as if you wanted to steal a kiss from me,Miss pervert, I thought you had Suddenly become shy but I underestimated not knowing you would actually accomplish your mission by stealing a kiss from me once you reached your destination" .He texted.

He was sure she would be blushing with fury.He giggled.

"Hey why you giggling? ".He suddenly heard Reuben ask.

He looked away from his phone. "When did you get here?".

Reuben laugh. "How would you know when your chatting with your darling Trina".He teased.Vera frowns as she watched Asher blushed.

Was he in love with Trina.The thought of it made her mad.She snatch his phone from him to receive a questioning look from Asher and Reuben.

"You should focus Asher".She said and thankfully Reuben agreed with her.

"Yeah! You have been distracted".Asher waved his hand in the air.

"Whatever, you guy are acting like my parent" He looked at Vera."Whatever you say Mother".He said as Vera laughs.

Trina frown as Asher refuses to reply again'what the heck was his problem' .was he now bored of her. The thought made her heart sank.

"To earth Miss.Katrina".Madison sang jarring her back to earth.

"What?".

"Class is over duh!am going to meet my Mentor ,what about you?".

"Ow,me?..I don't know".She said nervously.

"What happened?".

"Asher he isn't replying my messages.What if he's tired of me?".

"The only way to know is to meet him".Madison flash her an encouraging smile and ran off.

Trina stood up and headed to Library.Her hands tightens on her skirt as she walk towards Asher. He was looking handsome as ever.His hand buried in his hoodie pocket as he nods to the beat of the sound he was listening to on his headset while his free hand trails the books in the shelves.

Her toes curl in her shoe as he looked up at her, his hair which was damp with sweat had fallen over his beautiful face, all she wanted to do was to brush it off.His lips cracks into a mischievous smile.

"Hey! your killing that cloth of yours".He said pointing at her skirt.He gestured for her to come over her instead she walk up to another shelve opposite him. He could sense she was angry but it made him happy and he wanted to tease her more.

"I don't like been in a library. The smell of books irritates me".She said in a feign shudder.

He couldn't help but laugh and made his way towards her and stood behind her, they were so close to eachother that he could pick up the pleasant fragrance of her hair and'Damn' it drives him crazy.

Trina heart pounds furiously beneath her shirt.'What was he doing'.She whirl and place her hands on his warm chest.

"W..w..what you doing?".She stammered. He look down on her where her hand rested on his chest.

"And you?what you doing?".He look back at her eyes.

"I..I thought. .hug-".

"Your standing next to the book I want to pick for you".He said with a mischievous smile that never left his lips.

He drew out a finance book."What do you think I was going to do?I could never be compared to miss.Pervert when it comes to nasty things-".

"Jerk!".She raised her hand to hit him but he held her hand.

"Not so fast dumdum, explain to Asher why you're angry?".He said seriously as he stared at her as if he could see within her.
