CHAPTER 19

Aiden glares at Asher ,his heart burning with jealousy. He had always hated Asher and so did Asher and they never hid it.

Since his middle school and high school he was always the top student and all girls dream but as soon he step into Elite college and Asher appeared, he had taken his glory from him in both academic work,facial looks, attitude and accomplishments.And he had always try to compete with him but he couldn't but now seeing him holding his Trina in such way and the way her eyes twinkle with happiness scares him.

He couldn't let him take the only Woman he ever love.

"Trina"He called not caring about his student who he was showing around.

"Hi senior Aiden".She forced a smile.He felt a twinge of pain stabbing him in the chest.'Does she hate him'.

"Stop with the formalities ".He said with a hint of pain in his eyes which he didn't try to hid."Let's have some spicy meatballs. ..isn't it your favourite?".

"Am in"His student ,Drake said

"Not anymore, thanks...let's go Asher".She was about to flee but Asher held her hand.

"No,.let's go I think am also hungry"He said glaring at Aiden.He was sensing they had an history together and wanted to know if he was indeed right."Let's get going,shall we?".

"Yeah"Trina manage to say.

The walk to the nearby spicy stewed beef eatery was awkward.Asher hand which covers her small hand did something strange to his heartbeat ,he couldn't help but hope they arrive at their destination.

Hopefully they did he quickly let go of her hand and walked in.

They all sat down.Trina wondered why Asher decided to come to a commoner's shop to eat when his a picky person.Mrs. Lisa who was the owner walks towards them smiling.

"Aiden,Katty long time since you came" .

"Well Trina travelled abroad she just came back"Aiden answered.

"We will get a plate of Spicy stewed beef and two glass of fruit juice".Trina quickly said before Mrs Lisa asked another question.

"Two plate of spicy meatball".Aiden said as Drake nods. They all looked at Asher.

"I and Trina will share a plate".

"No-"

"Is ok Aiden, we will share a plate since he has never been here before".Mrs Lisa nods and went to get their order.

"So how are you and Aunt Chloe? Have you guys settled your difference?".Aiden said trying to strike a conversation.

"No".She snaps as Mrs.Lisa place their order and left.They all quickly devour their Food except Asher who just stared at it.

"You haven't seen beef before?"Drake asked.Asher glare at him and he shut up as Trina tries to suppress her laughter.

"You haven't had this before"Trina laughs,gesturing with her fork using it as a harpoon.

Asher held her hand."Hey do you want to stab my pretty face?".Trina shook her head laughing."is your mouth leaking,lunkhead".He chuckled and uses his thumb to wipe of the food particles.

Aiden uses his fork to stab his beef in rage as he watches them.

"Thanks..hey!try the beef is delicious" .Asher nods and stab the beef before popping it into his mouth.He struggle to continue eating the beef even when it's so spicy.

"How is it?".Mrs.Lisa asked.

"Delicious".Trina Said happily.

"So tell when will you love birds get married? ".Asher chokes on hearing that as Trina gave him a glass of juice to wash it down with.

"We're no longer engaged".Aiden said with a smile on his face.

"Ow!sorry my bad. .I didn't know"She said and walked off.

"Why you forcing yourself to eat such when you hate spicy food? ".Aiden asked.

"You hate it? Then why did you volunteer to come?".He avoided her gaze ."Let's go".She picked up her bag as she and Asher stood up.

"Trina,don't go yet"Aiden pleased.

"Goodbye Aiden".Aiden watched as they walks out of the eatery.

He scrunch his fist in rage.He would never let him steal what belongs to him.Never.
