THE BEAUTIFUL RED DRESS

THE BEAUTIFUL RED DRESS

*Ding Ding!*

The doorbell rang, Lily opened the door and saw the courier holding a package in his hands.

"Good morning! How may I help you?" Lily asked politely, she wasn't expecting any delivery.

"I am here to deliver a package to Lily Evans, are you the one?" The courier asked, he was a young lad who looked even younger than her, he looked like he was still in his teens, he was wearing a white shirt black jeans trousers, and black boots, he was staring at her in curiosity.

"I am the one, who sent it?" She tilted her head at the package.

"I can't tell but I think it is from a guy," the courier said, giving her a polite smile. He gave her a tablet to sign, "Sign here and here", and after she had signed, he gave her the package and she took it carefully, not wanting to damage whatsoever that was in the box, she looked at the box, it was white wrapped with red ribbon and the name of the company was printed on the top of the box.

"Thank you very much," she told the courier with a beautiful smile on her face.

The courier blushed a bit, we are always here to make you happy. After speaking, he told her goodbye and left but not without smiling at her and walking proudly, it was rare for a beautiful girl like Lily to greet him and give him a smile befitting of a king, he was happy and walked with swag to his feet.

Lily entered the apartment, propped her back on the couch, and opened the package.

"OMG!" She exclaimed, She brought a beautiful red dress out of the packaging paper, the dress was red, slit from the waist down. With glitters lined over it seamlessly, it's so pretty, I love it, she thought to herself.

She saw a red letter lying on the floor, it fell when she brought out the dress, she picked up the letter, opened it and read it slowly, "Lily! This is Jack, I am not giving you this dress for you to dump in your closet, she scoffed and continued, but I am sending it to you for you to wear to the party at La' Pierre next Friday. When I see you, I will tell you more about the event. So until we meet again."

She scoffed in disbelief, "It's like any time this guy opens his mouth to speak, it is always to belittle her, she thought to herself, What a ride jerk! Who does he think he is? He should have called me to tell me about the event and dump it in my closet. Why does he always make me feel like a beggar?" She spoke to no one but herself.

She inhaled sharply, But who cares as long as he pays me? Besides, the dress is too pretty for me not to wear it, she consoled herself.
