MAKING OUT WITH MY BEST FRIEND?

MAKING OUT WITH MY BEST FRIEND?

*Ding dong!*

The bell rang and Emelia opened the door. She eyed Jack from head to toe and smiled flirtatiously, "Hello handsome."

Jack looked at her, trying to recall if he had ever met her before, "forgive me but do I know you?"

Emelia laughed, "Of course you do and also you don't."

Jack was confused.

She laughed again, "I am Lily's friend, the one who was supposed to come for the date but became sick and couldn't make it."

He blinked his eyes, "Oh! I remember now."

Emelia smiled, "where are my manners? Please come in," she opened the door wide and allowed Jack to enter.

Jack looked around, you have a beautiful home, he said appreciatively.

Emelia nodded her head in agreement, "it is all Lily's work."

Seeing that Jack was not convinced, "Lily has a flair for interior designing; decorating is one of her hobbies. When we went our house shopping, she picked up all the stuff and I was happy. She is always in the best mood when she is decorating," she inputted.

"Wow! That, I wasn't expecting," he said in disbelief.

Emelia beamed, "Lily has so many layers, if you are knowing her for the first time; she can be very difficult and can be stubborn but once you get close, she's loyal like a dog."

Lily came to the living room, dressed in the red gown, "I am set." She noticed the look Jack was giving her as if seeing her for the first time, and then she saw her friend; Emelia trying not to smile, "What is going on here?" She narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

Jack shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, "Your friend and I were just making out before you came out I picked the wrong lady."

Emelia burst out in laughter.

Lily rolled her eyeballs, "Are we going or do you want to continue your make-out session?"

"We should get going" he turned to Emelia and bid her goodnight.

Emelia was happy as she saw her friend walking with Jack, they suit each other, she thought to herself dreamily.

Jack and Lily arrived at the venue and were immediately surrounded by people because of his level of influence.

Oh my god! Jack Collins Haden, you came, Madam Grace as she liked to be called walked up to meet Jack.

Her hair was made in a low chignon bun, a diamond earrings at her ears, her face was heavily adorned with makeup, making her look younger than her actual age of sixty-five. Her gold gown, slitted from the thighs down, swished around her as she walked up to the couple. She appeared very expensive to Lily.

Jack smiled down at the older woman, "Feels great to be here."

She raised her shoulders in pride, of course, I threw the best party in town. She purposely ignored Lily, she thought she was one of those girls who forced themselves on Jack.

Jack put his arm around Lily's waist and drew her close to himself, Madam Grace, this is Lily, my girlfriend.

She widened her eyes in disbelief, "You have a girlfriend? I must say, I am surprised". She recovered her stance, my dear! You are welcome."

Lily gave her a beautiful smile, "thank you," she said.

Madam Grace looked at Lily from head to toe; scrutinizing her," She looks different from the rest and she is beautiful."

Jack smiled, of course; "I always go for the best."

Madam Grace looked at Jack lovingly, "I have to meet the other guests, Jack! I am sure Sam would love to see you."

Someone called her name and she left.

Jack heard someone calling his name from behind, he turned his head. It was Ben, signaling them to come over.

As Lily and Jack made their way through the crowd, Lily couldn't help but feel a tingle of excitement in her stomach. She loved an opportunity to dress up, and tonight was no exception. She had chosen to wear the red dress that Jack got for her to wear for the event, the dress hugged her curves in all the right places.

Jack looked dashing in his navy blue suit, and Lily felt proud to be by his side, although she refused to admit it to herself. As soon as they arrived, they were greeted by a group of Jack's friends who were happy to see him and meet Lily.

Jack introduced Lily to his friends, "You look even more beautiful up close", Alan raised her hand and kissed the back of her hand.
