Lily returned back from work, tired and little jittery with Justin's behavior, she was scared that she will lose her job.

She was in deep thought and didn't notice Emelia entering her room.

Emelia touched Lily's leg and Lily stiffened in shook.

"What the hell Emelia! you bug!" She placed her hand over her chest.

"I called but you weren't responding beside I came to ask you if you were still going for the Blind date," Emelia said meekly.

"I haven't even agree that I was going," Lily said dismissively.

" That is exactly what I just said," She sighed. "Please Lilly, I couldn't even go to work today; I called in sick today not to talk of going to a blind date. I care about my appearance a lot and looking sick is not my best," Emelia said as she played with the edge of the pillow in her hands.

Lily rolled her eyes and said, "I don't care, either you cancel it or you go by yourself, it is all left to you."

"Look, the guy is super handsome and maybe he will help you forget Fred," Emelia said trying to convince Lily.

"I am over Fred and I have been, for a while now. I am not going doesn't mean I am still in love with Fred or clinging on to a failed relationship," Lily said defensively.

In the same tone that Lily used, "oh please! She waved her in dismissal, If you are really over Fred go on this date and I will know you're over him unless you're still sad and pining for him," she challenged Lily. She bent her hands and put it under her armpits, making chicken sounds to prove her point.

Lily was getting tired and wanted Emelia to stop, "I am over Fred and I don't have to go to any Blind date to prove anything."

Emelia laughed and said, "Because you are a chicken who is too afraid to do anything."

Lily eyed her; she breathed in and released the air and said, "fine l will go to this stupid blind date but you owe me big-time."

Emelia was so happy and hugged Lily in excitement, "finally but first we have to pick your clothes and make you look super attractive."

Emelia went about looking for the dress Lily would wear, the shoes and the makeup. She wanted Lily to look perfect.

With the way she was bouncing and moving, Lily wondered whether Emelia was truly sick as she claims.

Emelia sat Lily on the chair and put makeup on her face, preparing her for the date.

After Emelia was done with the makeup, Lily stood up and picked a straight blue gown from the bed and wore it, it was picked specially for her by Emelia. It was not too short nor too long but it was perfect. It had a small cutting on the cleavage, revealing a bit of skin there.

When she wore the gown, it hugged her perfect shape. It was so beautiful on her, Emelia had to take a picture of her while she was standing, "I want to post this picture on my status, I want the world to see how beautiful my best friend is."

Lily blushed, she sat down and slide a shoe to her feet. Then she picked up the second shoe and placed it on her other leg. Now she was ready for the date.

"Thank you Lily for doing this for me, I appreciate. I promise to be there for you and also help you out too." Emelia said as she escorted Lily to the taxi stand.

Lily nodded her head, "don't do anything stupid ok? She said and entered her taxi, going to meet the guy that Emelia said was very handsome.

Emelia waved at her friend.
