The Mountain Bear had just opened it's mouth to growl at Joshua as a form of intimidation when it was suddenly cut short by the sneak attack of the Metallic Python who had sprung up from behind and 'Entangled' it

Having already exhausted it's entire stamina and soul power during its earlier battle against the Raging Boar, the Mountain Bear could only wail tragically as Joshua's Metallic Python kept contracting it's body with more power.

Joshua kept on hearing sounds of bone breaking which caused his heart to be trembling with excitement as time went on but even with this, he didn't dare to take his eyes of the Raging Boar lying on the ground just fifteen metres away from him with eyes full of resentments.

Time slowly flew by for both parties and ten minutes later, Joshua's Metallic Python slowly released her body's grip over that of the Mountain Bear, leading to it sluming on the ground lifelessly before she steadily crawled towards the Ragging boar.

Another ten minutes later, another Rank Four Common Grade Beast quietly closed it's eyes and drew in its last breath which came as a suprise to Joshua as he was expecting resistance from the Raging Boar and had always been on guard against it.

With both Mid Rank Common Grade Beast now death, only then did Joshua finally become courageous enough to approach and take a closer look at both of them while mentally comparing their body structures with that of similar animals on Earth from his memories.

"Seems like only Rank one to Rank Three Common Grade Beast are comparable to the animals of Earth while starting from Rank Four and above. it seems like they have all made further progress down the path of evolution"

"What's more, this evolution only make them become stronger and never weaker than their current or previous state. Makes me wonder how powerful Uncommon Rank Beast who are equivalent to Beast Masters truly are?" Thinking up to this point, Joshua couldn't help but feel a drop of cold sweat roll down his spine.

Throwing away such thoughts by shaking his head, Joshua had already bent down and was just about to begin processing the carcass of the Raging Boar when a mesmerising fragrance slowly drifted Into his nostril and automatically triggered the pores of skin to open up and start absorbing origin energy at an alarming rate.

"What the..." Feeling overwhelmed by such an unexpected scenario, Joshua couldn't even formulate a complete sentence again as he immediately turned his attention towards the direction the fragrance had drifted from.

Rushing just a couple of metres towards where the Ragging boar formally stood as the beginning of the battle between it and the Mountain Bear. Joshua soon caught sight of a white coloured six petaled lotus flower.

"Wow.....! If this is what I'm thinking it really is? Then it all makes sense now. What else can cause a life and dead battle to break out between a Rank Four Common Grade Mountain Bear and a Rank Four Common Grade Raging Boar other than a High Rank Tier One Origin Lotus Flower believed to be capable of instantly elevating the rank of its consumer by a single rank as long as it's said consumer is below the Beast Master Rank or Uncommon Grade"

Joshua couldn't help but blurt out in amazement as he hurriedly approached the Origin Lotus Flower and squated before it.

Without any hesitation, he immediately pulled it out of the ground along with all it's root intact and stored it inside a small palm sized box covered in rune symbols gently before placing this box back inside the small backpack hanging beside his wooden pole.

Wooo....! Hiss....! Hiss....! Hiss....!

Joshua had just let out a breath of relief when the angry hissing of his Tamed Beast became hearable by him.

Hastily picking himself up from the ground, Joshua quickly turned around and cautiously started at the heap of vegetation his Metallic Python was hissing at.

Nerve racking laughters were soon heard by Joshua as a group of five Hyena like Beast slowly walked out of that particular heap of vegetation and into the clearing where the battle between the two Rank Four Common Grade Beast had taken place earlier.

"Shit! Savage Hyenas" Cursed Joshua in anger and annoyance the very moment he caught sight if this pack of assailants thanks to his inherited memories.

Compared to the Hyenas of Earth which where usually around two feet only in height, Savage Hyenas were all one metre tall at the very least.

Possessing light brown fur capable of easily masking their presence with that of the ground went ever they creep up on their target. They were also well known for their sharp fangs and powerful jaws capable of easily sinking into and ripping off their target flesh.

Taking a quick glance at the Savage Hyenas template his Sage skill had instantly shown him.

Feeling somewhats speechless, Joshua couldn't stop himself from cursing inwardly "Damn it, hand it to these pack of cowards to alter the use the of a defensive ability into that for sneak attacks"

Although the previous Joshua had spent most of his time in school busy cultivating, he had never missed a class on purpose and whenever a class doesn't hold, he usually spend that period in the library studying about Beasts, Herbs, resources and many other miscellaneous things involving this world.

But now, all this vast amount of knowledge came as a great benefit to the current Joshua who was a total stranger to this world.

Joshua even went as far as speculating these to be the reason behind the previous Joshua awakening of such an odd innate ability.

And that why Joshua could easily recognised the Elementary Terra Fur ability and fully remember it's entire description without even the aid of his innate ability.

Knowing that he wouldn't be able to avoid fighting against a single Savage Hyena or two is he truly wanted to leave this Low Grade Wildzone alive today. Joshua calmly pulled out the two metres long pole that have been hanging on his back ever since he left his house.

Tree Village Intermediate Beast Apprentice Academy only taught their students on how make use of weapons such as the spear, rod, pole, bows, crossbows and other mid and far range type of weapons for self defense since the seriously believed that a true Beast Tamers, should leave the fighting for his or her Tamed Beast.

They even took it to the extent of teaching them on how to better wield a shield for defending while waiting for the assistance of their Tamed Beast incase of being attacked.

Fortunately, each and every student had the right to select any weapon of their choice from among their given options.

Of course, selecting a bow, crossbow or even a spear would have been a better option for the previous Joshua. Too bad, both the formal and present him were too improvised to select any other weapon better than a pole since they wouldn't need to spend money on maintaining the blade of a spear or in buying arrows and bolts for their bow or crossbow.

Then again, since the formal Joshua wasn't even comparable to a novice in wielding a pole, the current Joshua would have to make do with his eight years experience as a wildlife hunter.
