The First Mission

03/12/2221, Worsara state, Country of Republics.

Ash entered the WDB Building.

"Is this it?" she wondered. It was a small hallway with a series of benches and a podium in the middle.

She sat on a bench to the side.

"This is more like a classroom", she thought.

A security guard entered the hall and walked towards her.

"Please ma'am, this way."

Ash got up and followed her.

"What's going on?" she asked the guard.

To which she replied, "This is the WDB facade, ma'am. Since it's a central organization, a disguise is necessary to prevent infiltration."

They went near the podcast. The guard took out a diamond shaped glass and placed it on the Podcast's center. Ash was confused.

Suddenly, a voice spoke, "Identity verified. Miss El, from the Security Service Department. You're allowed to enter the WDB premises."

Miss El smiled at Ash. Ash looked surprised.

"Let's go, shall we?"

"O-oh, y-yeah", Ash stuttered.

The podcast opened to a staircase.

The staircase led to an elevator.

We boarded the elevator and miss El pressed the button which said 9. There were 12 floors in total.

"Oh, so the Investigation Department is the ninth floor", Ash thought.

Ash chose to train as an underling in the Investigation Department.

They reached the Department Headquarters.

Miss El wished her luck and went back to attend her duties.

Ash looked at the HQ.

"Woah, this is cool", she admired.

She went inside the room.

"Hey, this is Alex. I'm your supervisor starting today."

She looked at Alex. A mere 23 year old guy with black hair and Hazel eyes.

"H-hello, I'm Ash! Looking forward to work with you!"

"How old are you, Ash?"

"19", she replied.

"Listen carefully now, you have to do as I say. Don't question much. This is a dangerous job, and I don't want you getting into trouble on your first day." He said.

"Roger that, sir!"

The others stood up as Alex went out of the room.

"Hey, I'm Jake!"

"And I'm Daniel!"

"Nice to meet you, myself Katherine."

"Hello, everyone! I'm Ash."

"Cool, now buckle up for your first mission, Ash. We're gonna fight some bad guys." Jake said.

Soon enough, everyone lined up in front of the HQ and all the investigators were given an 'Engourdi', a paralyser while we, as underlings were supposed to escort them.

Daniel drove while Alex explained.

"Jack will be escorted by Katherine and I'll be there with Daniel and the underling. Miss Ash, do not leave my side."

"Yes Sir!"

They reached the spot.

"So this is the scene of crime, The Carlson Gate. Investigate and catch the culprit. He might have not gone very far, since the crime was committed 20 minutes ago." Alex said.

"How did you get the reports so fast?" Ash asked.

"The WDB has a series of technological detectors, each called 'ermitteln' which are observer equipments and observe every place 24/7." Alex replied.

"Let's do our best catching the culprit, Ash."
