Sword saint in the the multiverse

A decently average man with a comfortable job at a tax firm gets transmigrated into the body of his Kensei Character from for honor and is sent into the multiverse with all the skills they would have, even a mythical sheath (cuz apparently only one character gets one) Let us see how a 70 renown kensei deals with new and familiar worlds. (He will also have a katana and tanto because let’s be honest, it’s pretty unacceptable to see someone use the Japanese equivalent of a greatsword in enclosed rooms)

Chapter 3: Rebirth of the Kensei

As he walked into the village, he saw many Mongolians rummaging through rubble or killing survivors… to bad. A part of him wanted to puke, but the other would not allow it.

Suddenly a a yell form behind and the thundering of footsteps. Thinking quickly the Kensei sidestepped and looked towards the supposed assailant. An Mongolian with little to no armour stumbled past him not expecting to miss the unaware warrior. As if on instinct the Kensei grabbed his Tantō knife and drove it into the back of his neck, severing through skin, flesh and spine. The assailant fell to the ground drowning in blood. No mercy for people like him. His comrades hearing it went to investigate, they saw a samurai with three blades, a slightly bloodied dagger and the gurgling body of their soon to be dead comrade.

They charged him all at once, wanting to bring justice for their fallen.

She Kensei did not even bother drawing a sword, using his dagger he waited for them to get closer. The first one did a wreak less overhead charge which earned him a deep cut to the armpit and stab in the back, the theirs was parried and his eyes stabbed out, the last tried to flee but a thrown Kunai to the joint in his leg stopped that quickly.

["S-Stay away! No!"] the mongol shouted in alarm. Too bad the Kensei did not understand nor care for what he had to say. A thrown Kunai to the throat silenced him.

He walked further down and found someone more worthy of his attention, an armoured Mongolian, he had a shield and sword, his underclothes where yellow. If he remembered correctly that means he was a commander.

He walked forward unsheathing the Kensei's signature weapon, the ōdatchi. He was sure Yuna had eyed it in confusion. Such sword was never invented by the time of the first Mongolian invasion.

Walking towards him the two eye's met, both their faces hidden form the other.

["A samurai! I thought we liked you all! No matter, you will die like the rest of them! And I will be taking that sword as a trophy"]

The Mongolian went on the offensive, he chose to start by lashing out in wrath, the blow would be deflected and he would be hit by the but end of the sword causing him to stumble backwards. He looked at the Kensei with anger, he was mocking HIM of all people! This will not stand, he is courting death!

The Mongolian went at it again, this time taking a more careful approach, he went for faster, probing attacks to try and find an opening to exploit, this went on for a while before his patience. He lashed out again, his swing leaving him open for a massive and deadly side swipe by the Kensei who in the shame moment stepped off to the right. "This will be the end!" The slash was followed up by a stab then a stong downward cut that cleaved through the mongol commander's armour. He then proceeded to do the "Kikashi" execution on him.

"Yossah!" Kensei exclaimed observing his work and wiping the blood off his blade.
