Sword saint in the the multiverse

A decently average man with a comfortable job at a tax firm gets transmigrated into the body of his Kensei Character from for honor and is sent into the multiverse with all the skills they would have, even a mythical sheath (cuz apparently only one character gets one) Let us see how a 70 renown kensei deals with new and familiar worlds. (He will also have a katana and tanto because let’s be honest, it’s pretty unacceptable to see someone use the Japanese equivalent of a greatsword in enclosed rooms)

Chapter 2: Ashes being to ember

Memories not of his own entered his mind, memories both foreign and familiar. Two people entered the same jobs, the same body and after what seemed like years yet only months took control of the empty husk of a body.

As it gained consciousness, it's armour and weapons formed around it, causing further confusion as they tripped on a rough causing a resounding groan to sound out.

"So… this is not a dream, I am alive?"

He would raise his hands towards his face and find them unfamiliar, his entire body felt as if a misfitting glove yet, at the same time it seemed to fit, just that maybe the fabric was wrong?

He wanted to freak out, to shout in surprise but something stopped him. He stood up from his prone position and moved his limbs around, he felt the armour on his body articulating. Every piece was where it was supposed to be… but what was supposed to be where it was supposed to be? Armour! A thought almost shouted through the empty void that was his head at this moment. It was armour, he could feel it now. Both familiar and unfamiliar, this clothes was made first and foremost for battle. He had faint memories, one of a world of advanced technology, a life of a man content with his life. Another a life of almost constant war and death, a conceptually immortal hero famed for being worth ten million warriors on a battlefield; a master swordsman and master of the bow.

Certainly he would have to reflect greatly on this.

He felt around him, specifically his hip area and fount the familiar feeling of his weapons, his swords- no. That does not do then justice, his life line. Yes that will do.

He observed his surroundings and saw a he was in the area where Jin Sakai would soon awake… that must be him. Indeed laying passed out was Jin Sakai himself. And to be completely honest? He'd freak out seeing the Kensei's face. After all, who would not after seeing their doppelgänger? It'd be best if he kept his mask on around him.

"Who are you?" A shocked and surpised voice exclaimed behind him.

The Kensei turned around and there she was. The theif and the one who had Jin fall form grace, Yuna.

Her eyes widened at the sight of him, she stepped backwards "A-a samurai. M-my lord! I thought you all died at Komoda beach"

'Time to put those years in high school drama to use'

"A reasonable assumption… he is the only survivor?"

"Yes my lord"

"His sword? Where is it? I see what's left of his armour."

"I-I sold it" at the hesitant statement, he gave a long drawn out sigh

"Normally I would strike you down for such a crime theif…" she tended at the statement "but now is not the time for such things"

Her body loosened

"Tell me where it is and I will retrieve it."

"But the mongols!"

"I will deal with them. Just focus on him"

The Kensei did not let the thief refute him, he simply walked out, squeezing through the entrance he marched his way down towards the destroyed village
