I will prove that I am innocent!” To fulfill my promise, I must overcome the dangers and trials I will face to gain power. In the world of predators (Vampires, Wolves, Witches), you have to be strong to survive. In the center of this scary monster is Red Demitri... Finding the truth

Red POV.

"You..." It's the same guy from earlier that night. I mumbled something as I looked at the man, who was now easy for her to see. I didn't think what I was seeing was real.

"Remarkable... Your mind was all over the place the last time I saw you. But you still remember me. Lucas starts talking when he stops a few centimeters from me.

"Your scent..." I just can't get enough of how sweet you smell... I couldn't believe what I heard when I said, "It's following me everywhere I go."

"Oh, you were again interested in what my blood tastes like." Is that why it's happening?" Lucas's answer is a bit of fun. His finger went down my neck and across my chest until it reached the bottom of my breast.

Even though it was just his finger, the feeling was so strong that I had to grab Lucas's hand to be able to hear what she was asking.

What do you mean exactly? "The last time I was there... I can't even begin to remember what happened," I told him, looking him straight in the eyes.

Lucas didn't show emotion as he looked into her eyes. "Red Demitri... Do you want to remember what happened that night?" I can show you how it works if you are interested. He mumbled something and then moved across the few inches between us.

She noticed Lucas's lips when she smelled blood coming from his mouth.

"Are you covered in blood?" My reaction to the smell of sweet sugar is way too strong.

"Cut your wrists," he said.

I did what Lucas told me to do as soon as he said it. I didn't think twice before biting my lips hard enough to taste my blood.

Lucas's eyes change color, becoming redder as mine have.

We could both see the longing and hunger in each other's eyes, and I could not hold out any longer. I got down to Lucas's level so I could kiss him, and then I put my arms around his neck.

As soon as our lips touch, our whole bodies are on fire with desire...

Lucas and I are strangely attracted to each other, and knowing that we feel the same way makes me pleased.

But before I could feel the kiss, Lucas showed me what had happened on the night of my birthday.

I could see the blood on the table, the body of the dead vampire, and everything I had done.

I looked like I had been sprayed with cold water because I always felt on fire. I had to break away from Lucas's kiss because I couldn't finish the flashback. Am I to blame for their deaths? I don't understand! "How did I get that so wrong?" I felt sick to my stomach, so I pushed Lucas.

It looks like no one has told you that your father, Red, was the strongest and most feared vampire in all vampire history. You can also die from a vampire bite, but so can they... Lucas responds. He was still a slave to his lust but had complete control over it.

But I'm not a vampire! I'm a human! I have been living a human life for the past 18 years! I can't be like my dad because of this! I can feel my heartbeat!" I screamed in anger. I want to see the beauty of the world in my lifetime. Also, being a vampire will make everything harder.

"You and both of you," Red Demitri, you're in luck because you can choose from these three options: Lucas smirked, then turned around and walked away.

"Hey, wait a minute! Where are you going? I still have some questions for you:"

I'm sorry, but I can't answer your question now because the party is about to start. But you shouldn't worry because we can always do it again," Lucas replied without looking back at me as he spoke.

I clench my fists and whisper, "I'm a person. My body is warm. My heart is beating." I mumbled to myself as I tried to keep the tears from coming.

One guest told another, "Lady Victoria, the party is amazing!" as they looked around at the fancy decorations that had been put up all over the place.

The red and gold color scheme is used throughout the whole castle.

The light from the chandelier hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room lights up the whole room.

"Oh well, this doesn't matter." Lord Lucas doesn't like parties, so my princess wanted to keep it simple. Even though I wanted to do more, Victoria is proud and beams in response.

"This will be a good start for your household. You can be sure that the other Lords will treat you with the same respect they showed Lord Valir."

"But, what exactly do you mean by that?! Do you think Lord Lucas should be looked up to?! Because he is a Demitri, my husband is just as captivating as Valir. Victoria said something while she turned her back on the visitor.

"Please don't take this the wrong way, my lady, but everyone knows that Lord Valir and your husband are not the same."

Victoria clenched her fist but kept a happy face the whole time. She shouldn't have lost her temper tonight.

If this were a normal situation, she would kill both guests, but since it's not, Victoria has made up a reason to check on Catherine.

Victoria was on her way to Catherine's room when she and Marco ran into each other in the hallway.

"What are you doing here?" Who gave the guest something fun to do? Marco asked a tricky question.

"Dear, I'm here to see how Catherine is doing." She realized she'd left something behind, so she went back.

"No... Your job is to meet the guests' needs, so let's go back to the lobby. Marco didn't wait for Victoria to say yes before he led her through the door by the arm.

Victoria knew something wasn't right, but she didn't ask Marco what was wrong. "Maybe you killed one of your sex slaves, which would explain why you're in such a bad mood!" Victoria muttered something to herself and kept walking. The most important thing right now is to finish the engagement without any problems.

Catherine is sitting in her room in front of the mirror, clenching her hand around her dress as she looks at herself.

Please don't worry about it, Catherine... You shouldn't worry about what you wear because you will be the bride. She was quiet when she talked to herself. Even though she had been excited while waiting for Lucas, Catherine couldn't help but clench her teeth when she saw him.

It's okay... Everything will be different after tonight... My relationship with Lucas will change, and I will do everything I can to make him see me as his lover. As Catherine looks at herself in the mirror, she says something.

Catherine was happy with all the beauty she had seen in the room, so she went to the hall where the other guests were waiting.
