The Second Big Event!!

As I was informed by Jia Li, I have to petrol around the whole floor where the meeting is being held....

(flashback)

"isn't this something a guard is supposed to do?? Miss Zhen??

"do you have any problems?"

she said in a cold voice..

".....no..."

(flashback ended)

and now I am in the same situation as Xin was in the original novel.....guarding the whole floor, making sure no one gets inside the meeting room....in the novel, Xin thinks that Jia Li hated Ran, so he brings Ran inside the meeting room and insults him infront of everyone....and to make matters worse, he punches him on his face...

seeing that, Jia Li stands up from her seat and comes near Xin and informs him that he's fired....

Xin who was thinking he was about to get rewarded by Jia Li gets shocked by the whole situation....and soon grabs Jia Li's wrist while demanding an answer!!

"BUT WHY?? I WAS ONLY PUNISHING HIM FOR HIS ACTIONS!!"

Jia Li, without wasting a breath, slaps right at his face and he froze up for few moments before realising what the hell just happened ...

she then tells him in a cold voice!!

"didn't I ordered you that under no circumstances, should there be any problem inside the meeting room..."

not only did he brought Ran inside the meeting room....but also punched him right in front of everyone inside the room and made ruckus..

then she starts a barrage of insults on him making him so embarrassed that he storms off the building...

and what's even more funny is that even after the whole situation, he still goes to meet Jia Li and demands an explanation.

Jia Li realised that this guy is definately an Idiot who believes that Jia Li would never do something like this to him since she likes him so much...

"listen.....Xin, I know you're angry but that was the only way for me to save you, from the consequences that you might had to face.."

she explains him that if she wouldn't have hit him there and humiliated him.....both the Zhen family and the Jiang family might have put a bounty on his head....

and this idiot believed her!!

"I knew it!! my Jia Li would never do something like this!!"

and he pulls her in his embrace.

"but next time, don't worry about me.... I have plenty of people behind my back... they'll handle things if situation gets worse."

and that's how the Jia Li decides to manipulate Xin till the end.

may I add, after that embrace.... Jia Li vomitted the whole night.... that's how much she hated Xin!!.

and with that the second event ended.

< I don't know whether Xin was a dumb retard who didn't check things through or was he just too oblivious to notice he's being fooled....>

as we were discussing the the second event, I suddenly remembered what system and I discussed last week when we returned from the Su mansion.

system's voice startled me for a second before I regained my composure..

"I see....so he must have entered the building by now!!"

after some time, I noticed a huge ruckus....as I went near, I noticed Ran shouting at the employees of the building and demanding to meet his fiancee.

"what the hell!! I'm only here to have a chat with my fiancee!! you hear me!!"

DAMN.... I have to say, I'm impressed with his act as an asshole...

some employees started looking troubled before one of the female employee noticed me and went straight to me...

"um....you.... you're director Zhen's bodyguard right.....can you help stopping him?.... he's causing a lot of trouble for all the employees.....

In the book, the whole scenario was described as chaotic but reading about it and seeing it with own eyes are two different things..... it's more chaotic...

"sure.... just ask the others to continue their work..... I'll handle Mr Jiang.."

I told her as I went straight towards Ran, seeing me going to handle this situation....she also started asking her colleagues to relax and continue their work.

"Mr. Jiang! I'm afraid I have to ask you to leave!"

just as Ran noticed my presence, he gave a very sinister smile and came close to me.

"what is Jia Li's dog doing here?? go and bring your owner!!"

wow...this is indeed infuriating.

" Miss Zhen is busy in her meeting, she can't meet you right now..so I'll ask you again to please leave.....or else.."

"HUH!! LOOK AT THIS DOG!! SHOULDN'T YOU BE BARKING INSTEAD OF TALKING!! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IF I DIDN'T LEAVE !! HUH??"

his brought his face close to mine making a scary expression...

the female employee that was trying to calm her colleagues got a troubled look on her face....

I really hoped things wouldn't have come to this.....whatever...

" then I take it, you refuse to leave?"

"ARE YOU DEAF!! I SAID I'M ONLY GOING AFTER MEETING WITH MY FIANCEE!!"

I took a deep sigh of disappointment.

"then you leave me no choice Mr. Jiang Ran..."

[inside the meeting room]

(Jia Li's POV)

it's finally the time, soon that bastard Xin will come inside with my dear Ran.....and humiliate him here.

he think I'll also humiliate Ran and praise him for his job, just like I did last time but, what he doesn't know is that he'll only give me a good reason to fire him..

'hehe after all, the whole job was that no one shall enter this meeting room under any circumstances.....'

.....but....

10 minutes later..

it's already been this long...

30 minutes later..

....why haven't they came inside yet???

and with that no one came inside the meeting room and the whole meeting was successful.....but then.....why am I not happy??

'OF COURSE I CAN'T!! THE WHOLE REASON I HAD TO SUFFER HAVING THAT BASTARD AS MY BODYGUARD!! WAS SO THAT I COULD HAVE HIM SUFFER HERE!!! THEN WHY???'

After some time I heard a knock....it was Xin..

AND HE HAD BLOOD ON HIS CLOTHES!!
