Jia Li and Little Mei

(Jia Li's POV)

as soon as we arrived at the Su residence, I saw my cute Little Mei, waiting for us along with her new bodyguards.

just as I was about to introduce myself to Mei, Xin crouch down and opened his arms.

"Little Mei, big brother came just as I promised."

and Little Mei ran towards him as he pulled her in his embrace.

" Big brother Xin!! "

even those bodyguards started to clap for this dramatic scenario....

' how dare he!! hug Little Mei like that!.... I also wanna do it!!'

"ahem..."

soon Xin realised that I was also with him, so he introduced me to little Mei as well.

soon I also crouch down beside Xin, and try to talk with Mei.

"hello Mei, I'm Zhen Jia Li, nice to meet you."

I thought she might also introduce herself in a cute fashion.....but.....she ran and his behind Xin.....

"eh....."

'just kill me already!!'

and to put sprinkled on my wounds...

"PTF!!!!!! Hahah you scared her!!"

After this embarrassing first impression, we finally went inside the first mansion....as we we were walking down the hallway, I saw Little Mei holding Xin's hand while waking beside him....

'JUST WHAT IS IN HIM THAT ISN'T IN ME LITTLE MEI!! DON'T YOU KNOW THAT BASTARD IS A WOMANIZER!! I'M TEN TIMES....NO A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER THAN THAT GOOD FOR NOTHING GUY!! BUT WHY IS HE SO CLOSE TO MEI!!!WAIT A MINUTE!! WHAT IF HE'S INTO YOUNGER GIRLS TOO!!! NO WAY!! IF THAT'S THE CASE!!!

I muttered under my breath.

" Xin you fucking bastard, if you have any disgusting thoughts about my cute Little sister..... I swear I'll make a personal hell just for you!!!

as I looked at him, cursing him with everyway possible...

Soon, we met Mr and Mrs Su at the main hall...and they were quite shocked to see that Xin brought me here.

" Xin, you should've atleast informed me about this..... I would've made better arrangements."

soon, Xin explained the whole situation to the couple.

after that Mr Su made a dark face while he said thing to Xin.....but I wasn't able to hear it clearly...

'guess he's asking for an explanation about yesterday's incident....'

while they were talking, I put my attention on Little Mei who was looking at Xin....

'..... I wish she could also look at me the same way she looks at that bastard...'

soon I see Xin saying something to Mei and she nodded innocently then came to my side.

then I see him coming towards me as well.

"Miss Zhen, can I leave Little Mei to your care?"

and I said without a second thought..

"sure."

Xin, I hate to admit it, but I'm really grateful to you for this.

soon, Xin went after uncle Su.

I tried to talk to Mei but nothing was coming out of my mouth, she too was looking at me waiting for me to say something..

I did accepted the offer to look after Mei but I don't know what to say to her.....no..... I must say something, I'm the grown up here, I'm Zhen Jia Li, I'm the person who can win any business deal in seconds.... there's no way I can't start a conversation with a little girl.

after a little awkward moment.... Mei opened her mouth...

"um...big sister Jia Li...."

she said as she held my hand with her tiny hands and looked at me with her shiny eyes..

after that we both went to the Su family garden along with some maids from the household....

At first glance, those maids might look like regular maids....but..

' they're definitely highly skilled assassins... I can feel their aura....even when they are walking, there's not a single opening.'

" is something wrong Miss Zhen?"

"uh!! no it's nothing, just thinking about how beautiful this garden is.... that's all."

indeed.... I didn't even felt her presence..

as were walking walking around the gardens, Little Mei talked about various things, about her favorite food, her favorite snack, her hobbies and her friends.....but mostly about Xin....wait....is it just me or is she talking about Xin a lot more than anything else...

" um... Mei?"

she stopped and turned around, looked at me with her head a little tilted.

"yes big sister?"

' I wish I also had a little sister like her!! why don't I have any cute little siblings like mei...'

"you have been talking about Xin a lot, do you like big brother Xin?"

'please say no!! please say no!!'

I kept praying for her to say no.....but I already know her answer... I just wish I didn't..

"yes!! big brother Xin is the best!! "

"oh.....haha ..... I see.."

".....but I think big sister Jia is also the best!! "

hearing that, I was shocked for a moment...

"big sister Jia Li, listens to Mei and doesn't ignore me like big brother!!"

she put her tiny finger on her chin and made a gesture as if she was thinking...she looks so cute!!

"oh....not big brother Xin..... I was talking about big brother Shen.."

'ah...right!! her big brother Su Shen Lao...the only son and heir of Su family.....'

" whenever big brother Shen comes home from abroad, he always ignore Mei..... I know that big brother is a very busy person.....and that's why Mei only talks to him whenever he says that he is free.....but he never listens to Mei and walks away everytime..... sometimes..... sometimes Mei thinks that she's annoying.....is Mei a bad girl..is that why big brother Shen ignores her...."

talking about all this Mei hung her head down and looked like she was about to cry....so I Crouch down and hugged her..

" no.... Mei is the best girl I had ever seen...so don't ever doubt yourself Mei..."

after that we had a conversation about some other things and this time I also started engaging in the conversation.....but soon she fell asleep.....so I sat on the bench and lay down her head on my lap....while brushing her hair with my fingers....seeing her innocent face I couldn't help but smile softly....

after some time....Xin came to ruin the moment and woke Little Mei up...that bastard!! he must have seen how much I was enjoying the moment, so he decided to destroy it.

and with that things went just the way they were, with Little Mei again holding Xin's hand while returning inside the mansion.

'if only this guy came a little bit later!! then I could've enjoyed the moment a little longer.....well whatever.'

after that we went to the Zhen mansion.

as Xin was driving the car, he started a conversation....

"so.... I hope Mei didn't trouble you too much, Miss Zhen."

"no...no she was a good girl.."

"haha.....she sure is..."

soon we both started talking about Mei.....and I have to say, the conversation was quite enjoyable.....maybe because the subject is a cute angel...

"anyways, I had already informed your father that we were at the Su estate since I had to relay him about yesterday's incident...."

"I see....um...Xin?"

he was still looking at the road so I decided to sneak this question, hoping he would ignore it..

" you intentionally left Mei with me right..."

"...."

he went silent for a moment then..

"hahahaha so you finally realised...you should've seen yourself Miss Zhen....you were looking at her so intently.."

this guy!!

"stop!! don't laugh at me!!"

" if I be a little Frank with you, looking at your cold personality this morning, I never thought you like children."

"stop making fun of me!!"

finally as we arrived at the mansion, I quickly got out of the car.

"urgh!! you just wait!! I'll make sure you'll pay for making fun of me!!",

...then I muttered under my breath.

"...but thanks.... for today..."

but it looked like he noticed.

"huh? did you say something Miss Zhen?"

"uh!! nothing!! I just said I'm gonna make pay for making fun of me!!"

and with that I stormed off.

finally after one week, the time has finally come!! the second event of the novel!!

I soon heard Jia Li calling me...

"Xin hurry up!! today is a really important meeting!!"

I can see her sinister smile.... don't be too hopeful you stupid heroine!! I'm gonna survive this time as well!!

(Su Mei Lin's POV)

I was told this morning that big brother Xin is coming today, so I dressed up and told daddy that I'll wait outside to recieve big brother Xin...at first he refused but after a little (persuasion) he agreed and allowed me along with my new bodyguards...

after few minutes big brother arrived and just as he came, I ran to him and he pulled me in his embrace....

but soon I realised that big brother didn't came alone, he came with the beautiful big sister from the party!!

she introduced her self and I finally got to know her name, Zhen Jia Li.

she asked me to call her big sister Jia Li.....but she was so beautiful that I got shy and hid behind big brother Xin.

at first I thought she would be angry at Mei for not returning greetings....but she was a really nice person.

after spending time with her, she became part of Mei's list of best people!!

I'm so happy I could spend time with big sister Jia Li and I hope I could play with big sister again.
