I never thought things would go like this but..... I guess just like the saying goes,' one can never escape their fate...' I was here...

right now, I'm inside my enemy's den....

"well then Xin? care to explain me..... how you failed such a simple task?"

I swallowed my Saliva and start to remember my life choices till now....

' maybe I should've just acted as I was trying to seduce Jia Li in the first place, damn it how could I forget about my own good!!....why didn't I thought that me not following the story, is gonna bite me in the ass...'

(few moments prior)

it's been days since I started my vigilantism as Grey Knight and somehow, my nemesis, Ran started helping me as White Knight.

after taking out another Black Odyssey hideout...we both started our usual conversation when he suddenly asked.

"so.... who's this Tai Long you're looking for??"

" he's a giga Chad.."

".....eh..what?"

on daytime I do my job as Little Mei's bodyguard...and at night I search for Tai Long...

and it was the same as any other day...when...

"ahem..... Xin I'm afraid but I have to ask you to leave.."

"but.....but why Mr. Su?? did I do something wrong!! I'll try to do better!! please don't kick me out!!"

" is it just my imagination or have you crammed the whole thing, in case I ever thought of firing you?"

I remember how many of these apologies I have crammed for these cases....

"ye.....I MEAN NO! NO!!"

then Mr Su looked at me from top to bottom and said.

"Xin look at yourself.....you look like haven't had a sleep for ages.....is everything okay."

"ah....just insomnia... there are few things I've been having a trouble with."

I said as my right I was already closed and my left eye was on the verge of closing..

"just go take few days off and take care that stuff for now...."

"....but sir...?"

"don't worry, it's paid leave."

"....thank you, Mr Su.."

after saying that I went to my place.....

at first I was living at the Su mansion but I was afraid they might notice my disappearance at night so I rented an apartment near the mansion.

as I was on my way to the apartment, I started noticing a strange presence behind me.....

<host!! I can sense several enemies presence here!!>

'what??...but ..who could...'

before I could finish my thought, I felt someone hit me on the back of head and soon started losing consciousness....

and with that I fall down the ground...with the last person I saw was none other the my old friend....mask guy....

(after some time )

I started regaining consciousness again....but just as I was about to open my eyes, I felt a tight slap on my face ....

*slap*

"WH!!WHAT THE FUCK!!"

and the person who slapped me was none other than masked guy....and I noticed that I'm being tied by some strange rope...it feels like this rope is taking my strength..

"reaper!! you don't waste time....do you?"

I heard another voice, this time it was a women..

"my oh my, look at him staring at me like that.."

at first her voice was soft but in few seconds her face turned dark.

"wanna say something.... traitor."

" don't come to conclusion so soon, Xin is one of our best men....he won't be betraying us, there must be some misunderstanding....right Xin?"

and finally a fat guy who was standing behind the other two spoke..

"shut up!! fatass!!"

the masked guy who's name is reaper, scolded him..and after that looked at me and said...

"I hope you have a good, reason for not following the orders... traitor..."

soon he grabbed me from the back of my neck and dragged me to somewhere....

"where are you taking me!!"

instead of a reply, I got a kick on my face..

"I said shut up!!"

I lost consciousness again.....

after a while I opened my eyes but this time I tilted my head a little right and dodged a slap.

"ha!"

*slap*

I forget he can use another hand..

then I looked in front of myself....there was a big screen...and inside it was a bald man who looked a little too muscular and a tattoo on the top of his head, sitting on a couch.

"good to see you again my child.."

even though he was speaking in a soft voice ..... I could clearly feel malice.

"everyone, can you kindly leave the room....."

"b..but master!"

reaper tried to say otherwise but...

"LEAVE.....NOW!!"

he said in a authoritative voice and soon everyone left and only I was left.

"well then Xin? care to explain me..... how you failed such a simple task?"

"um.....well....you see?"

before I could reply, I heard the bald guy in front of me again...

the man in front of me was Chow Guan Lee, master of Black Odyssey..... he's the strongest character of the novel and the main villain..

" but!! but what!!"

"but it looks like she's madly in love with her fiance!!"

"bullshit!! everyone knows what kind of reputation her fiance have!! and you're saying she's madly in love!! with HIM!!"

and now he finally started raising his voice..

"it's not just that master!!"

I looked at him with a serious face..

"the plan would have failed anyways..."

"I know and I also know that the plan might take longer period of time.....but.....but that's our best choice..."

after a moment of silence...he finally spoke...

"hmm.....can I ask, why you stopped your allies from kidnapping Su Mei Lin?.."

"after I realised that the Zhen family daughter will not get seduced by me.... I thought I should give a hand to my Allies who were at the Su mansion.....but.."

"but?"

"but.....When I saw them kidnapping daughter of the Su family, I realised these guys won't succeed..."

".....and why is that?"

"her big brother..... Su Shen Lao, if he would've known about this, he might have made a big trouble and we wouldn't be able to clear that mess... that's why I had to made a new plan, at the moment."

"and your plan?"

"I thought maybe we should infiltrate the Su household from the inside....and that's why I became their trusted men..."

again a big silence.....

"do you know the reason why I sent our men at the Su mansion ?"

please be the real answer!!

"no.... I didn't...you never told me...you only said that our men will be at the Su mansion on that day.....and seeing our symbol..., I knew you were the one who sent them...."

again with a silence...

<host the malice outside is getting stronger!!>

'why don't you just kill me !!!! I'm already scared with this deep silence!!'

after a while.....

"hahahahaha Hahahaha!!!"

he started laughing like a maniac..

"hahaha right, I did told you that we were going to send our men to the Su mansion but we never told you why??!! hahahaha!!"

' hahaha if it would've been a real situation..... I might have died!!! but since I had plot Armour, no one other than Ran and the heroines can kill me!!'

" I'm sorry for doubting you're loyalty Xin....but have you succeeded in your plan with the Su family..."

"yes.... I have become a trusted person of the Su family.....but I have been waiting for your orders and find what is it that you seek.... Master...."

"hmm.....very well then .....Xin you haven't contacted anyone from our organization in a while .....why not catch up with others and win their trust.....maybe then I'll tell you what I seek...."

"yes.....master..."

after that master Chow called reaper in and asked him to untie me...as reaper was untying me from the ropes...he whispered in my ear..

"I agree with the lady of Zhen household, you're worst then trash, Xin."

after that I went outside but reaper stayed....maybe they're talking about something important, I also wanted to hear it.

but it would look to suspicious to listen this, and I already know that reaper hates me.....he must be having his doubts right now.....

after I got out, I met the fat guy who was taking my side when I first arrived.

"Xin!! good thing you're not dead!! I heard reaper saying that you'll be dead the moment master Chow gives the signal....."

I know him.... he's Wang yun Jun...he used to consider Xin his only friend...since all the others used to bully him....but Xin didn't....it was later found out that Xin never even acknowledged him as a human...

"yeah I'm alright Jun....but look at you, is it just me or have you gotten fat..."

"you do realise I eat more when I am stressed!! but enough about me, what did the boss said.....it was all a misunderstanding right?"

"yeah....it all happened due to some communication gap..."

he was also the one who died for Xin, during the Black Odyssey arc.....and Xin just kicked his dead body calling him useless....

"anyways now that you're here!! let's get ready for our new mission..."

"what?"

"apparently there had been some people who had been attacking our men....boss asked us to take care of them..."

"....."

"Xin?"

"....ah!! right!! "

"get dressed, it's already time ..."

he said as he pointed at a room on his left...

"let's do it like the old times Xin!!"
